Challenging and fun Great graphics the only thing that would make it better would be having a map Game got tedious when trying to go back and forth in scenes              Fun

This is from another great series So far this appears even better than the last two and you have better access to the strategy guide Good puzzles but not so hard you cant beat them Thank you big fish and all your helpers Snooper158 ps when you use the pipettes to test the blood it can be a little touchy just squeeze your fingers together while you hold it over the samples                 Great SERIES GREAT GAME

Everything was going fine until trying to give the antidote recipe to the fisherman The game keeps quitting and wont go beyond here If there are technical issues with certain versions of iPad we should know about these before purchasing And theres no way of getting our money back even though its THEIR game that doesnt work properly I will buy no more games for iPad Most of them if they work at all work poorly The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because I liked the game up to the point where it crashed        Crashed

After reading all the reviews this couldve been fixed with a simple business strategy 1 Withdraw the game with much flourish and apologies all around 2 During the debugging process post frequent updates describing how thrilling the New and Improved game will be Perhaps offer a Twofer 3 Announce the restored version with much fanfare New customers will take advantage of the restored game while already faithful players will resume playing with renewed enthusiasm their former frustration immediately alleviated Big fish and iTunes have done the right thing Ive read several reviews that have the same comment Big fish you can do better than this SO DO IT     SO FRUSTRATING You CAN do better than this

This game is so bad Choppy poor slow response unimaginative puzzles Graphics are good series is usually much better than this one Crashes at the fisherman after youve backed out and back 8 times Eight times Paid 399 then was denied payment in German Paid 699 then crashed twice at fisherman You should be embarrassed passing this game off on your loyal customers Im embarrassed for you     Lousy game

It is fun to interact with a favorite classic story So far it has moved along smoothly and has a few more HOPs than mini games I prefer HOPs But it has one annoying aspect It is picky about where you touch an item and where you place I have had to use a hint sometimes just to find out I am doing the right thing but the game isnt responding I almost didnt pay for the collectors edition because that is a very irritating flaw in a touch screen game              Interesting twist on a classic story

The game seemed to be going great love the characters and story But I get reset and kicked out of the game I have restarted this game 4 times at the beginning it says reset progress it does not matter if I hit yes or no It starts the game over no matter what I hit Well decided to delete and reload after this will see if I need to contact big fish or not Service is usually great Ugh still a pain update got the game going it was great loved it              seems to be great but issues

I was playing the updated game It has fixed a lot of the previous problems but I was totally at a loss in the town square I had to go to the walkthrough for help because the games help was useless at this point When I tried to go back to the game it was frozen It said it was installing DUH nothing I did would get it moving again I had to delete it        Glitch

Have all the previous Poe story line games and they are some of my favorites in the hidden object genre This game has much fewer HO scenes and they are the type with finding shapes dark and hard to see the shapes and then using the objects to put together or find other objects Yuck All the other Poe games had many beautiful HO scenes with lots of items to search for Enjoy some times needing to take 2 steps to find some of the objects but really hate the filling the shadowed outlines type of HO Also too many mini games that are pointless the only way to solve is by chance not by figuring it out Very disappointed And I only played the demo didnt purchase the full game Thank goodness for demos           Not good hidden object game

I like this game a lot but I do have a couple of wishes1 there was a separate player login option so both my daughter and I could play this game at the same time without messing up each others games 2 that the help button was more helpful saying you should look in a different location is not really helpful           Very fun game but needs separate player options

Two downloads later I am stuck at a different part of the game there is no way to progress for some reason beyond the scene at the hotel The hint feature even on easy I tried it to make sure I wasnt just blind and dumb says maybe we should try somewhere else ON EVERY SCENE Basically dont waste your money on this one     meh bugs abound and they arent made of gold

Im a Huge fan of the Edgar Allen Poe series since I own his collective books This game had the best graphics yet The game wasnt easy I found myself looking at the strategy hints several times Looking forward to the next and I have never written a review on a game except mansion makeover and the raven series                 Awesome game

Lose a star for getting stuck Strategy guide tells me to get cane after deciphering parchment Not there No cane cannot open armory Anachronisms make my teeth grind Ballistics test Really And testing to match blood samples In 1843 there wasnt even a reliable test to determine if a stain was actually blood never mind whether human or animal Blood typing didnt come along until turn of the century so a transfusion could save you and not kill youstill not ready for CSI Oh well at least there are no leprechauns or demons or ghosts or angels Lovin Arthur especially because he is a sniffing digging dog and not a talking one Original review below Just started and already demanding review You asked for it So far Ive spotted a number of elements from the original story dog cipher opening animation promises several others I wont list spoilers with novel applications Think Ill buy this one Deleted Masque without purchase as too cutesy for my taste           Promise Unfulfilled
