Setup was simple enough though usage is problematic Some thermostat settings are shown in C others in F even when display settings are set to F Makes it hard to know what the real setting is at Some tabs dont load properly like MODE I was excited for this system and app but seems like this app was rushed out without proper testingpolish        Many bugs makes me think I should have gone with Trane

Great App with a lot of great wireless features for my Water Heater                 Great App

This app is useful and does what it says I think a update will greatly improve the functionality I would like to be able set my heater like my thermostat This way I could have it set high in the morning and in the evening wile home and low wile Im sleeping and at work Im only home for a small amount of the day and should be able to lower the temp and my bill at the same time This would be a wonderful selling feature as well I can do so manually on the app but I would be on the app numerous times a day A app schedule would prevent this Also I like the contractor part of the app But can you add a area for notes I would like to be able to add not only who was there but why This would be great for yearly maintenance and check up calls           Please update

I purchased 2 Rheem 40 gallon water heaters with the wifi option I travel a lot and I can now control my water heaters from any place in the world                 Works great and is easy to install

I read the other reviews and didnt experience any of the issues some people were complaining of I must have installed a newer version of the app It synced up easily and works perfectly Simple and easy I will defiantly recommend this product to others                 Works as expected

Successfully registered via iPhone 6 and app works fine Unable to connect through iPad or Rheem EcoNet site Constantly receive message about being unable to locate my email address Multiple attempts to email Rheem support have gone unanswered No obvious EcoNet support options available     Login only works from 1 device No response from support

I often have to make the change I want several times before it finally takes especially when switching to and from Eco mode        Hit and miss

I have a hot water heater from Rheem that I can control using this app Since I travel a bit and occasionally my schedule changes it is nice to be able to put the hot water heater into vacation mode remotely and take it back out if my plans change There are huge holes in the functionality though For example I can see the temperature of the lower and upper parts of the tank from the front panel of the tank but I cannot do so from this app Thats kind of silly And considering how bad the UI is on the tank itself you would think they could do something nice for the App UI to compensate but alas no it is even more limited I wouldnt care except that the app only works with an expensive WiFI addon to the already expensive platinum model of hot water heater I doubt over the ten years of owning the tank I will recoup the cost           Good and Mediocre

All of the previous comments are true I not real computer savvy and this app does nothing to help It is not intuitive and very difficult to use I just tap a bunch of areas to finally get the information or make the changes I need     Bad App

The unit sets up great Very simple After that is blows It never stays connected never stays logged in and always scheduled maintenance what a waste and disappointment from this company and the reputations it use to have     Waste of money

A week of this app and the website not working Update a month ago support told me that they were having server issues I still can no longer connect Total waste of money     Enough already

The application and module do not appear to work together properly I set my water heater to vacation mode which I couldnt successfully do from the application and have now tried numerous times to turn it back on regular mode from the application but cannot find a way to do so App shows that it needs to be done on unit control panel That is ridiculous I have successfully been able to raise and lower temperature before I puts it in vacation mode so I know that works Also the app does not allow retention of user and password so both have to be entered every time Crazy I am considering returning wifi module back to Home Depot     Useless

Good simple app but too limiting I guess we are in the early adapter development phase I have the privilege to pay more for an immature service The idea is good but the device should report back the current temp to the app Unless you just assume it is what you set it at Since you are connecting me to a place I didnt think I needed the stats of my hot water heater you need to do more to keep my attention Give me a scheduler charts graphs something to justify the 80 addon to my hot water heater I could start drooling over the amount of gas used on a daily basis compared to fluctuations in water temp You can even send me jokes like hey it looks like your water is running you better go catch it Or whew that was an unusually long shower today big date planned           Good start now when will the app grow

The app works well however follow directions on the install of the network the app allows you to change the water temp however it does not tell you the temperature of the water thats currently in the tank           Works But

I was unable to connect the WiFi module to my home network until I submitted a support ticket 5 stars to Rheem support for phoning back within minutes of me supporting the ticket and for knowing how to fix my issue described below This app will not find your home network unless the SSID is being broadcast If you are hiding the SSID for security reasons you will have to change your network to show the SSID before you start configuration Once that is done you will be able to complete the setup of the Rheem wifi module If you want to see the whole process theres a set of screen shots on the Rheem website Note that you dont get to create your Rheem account until the app has connected to your WiFi module and home network Unfortunately if you change your network settings even just to show the hidden SSID this will break the connection to all your WeMo devices and you will have to resetreconfigure them all Giving this app 3 stars because I think it should allow you to enter the SSID manually and also because I had to scroll through several pages of EULA on every failed attempt to connect to my home network Once should be enough           How to connect

When I shelled out what was to me a large sum of cash for my new water heater after looking at the addon remote I was really excited to think that I would have some control over my homes hot water consumption Got through the registration and hooked the remote to the water heater Then I downloaded the app I was so excited until I tried it Timed out each and every time I am not an app writer I do not know code I do know the massive number of apps Ive seen for many different areas of interest Sad to say this one currently falls short Once the bugs are exterminated this should be a great app Cmon Rheem get this thing together Youve a great reputation to maintain     Rheems Water Heater App

Reading throught the reviews which I wished I had done in advance everyone is asking for the same thing We would all assume in an age of home automation that we could automate the settings on our water heater like the thermostat in our home Why does it need to be on all day when I obviously dont use hot water from 10PM7AM each day Let me schedule it to turn down during this time and maybe lower my bill another 20 each month The add on module which I totally thought was included with me heater it was additional cost about 80 from Home Depot and only lets me schedule a vacation not a daily adjustment Hopefully someone has a workaround Like the app if this then that aka IFTTT Perhaps it can fool the Rheem into a vacation mode each night to accomplish what I want But it sure would be better if Rheem would just update their app to do this themselves           Only allows vacation mode Could still save me more money

Downloaded the app opened the app began the registration process Saw the text scroll down to read then click AGREE but there was no text to read So I scrolled the blankness and the AGREE button lit up I clicked on the AGREE button and the next screen came up the same way blank So I went to the website but the web site was blank also Its a good concept but it does not actually work It goes back today     OUTSTANDINGly terrible

App will not allow me to update phone number for notifications Save button does not appear Also tried updating via web site No joy     Needs improvement

Useless No scheduling All you can do is on off and temp up down     Hvac specialist

Works for periods of time after initial install then always seems to fail and be hard to get back on track if ever an outage Technical support not exactly what it should be either room for improvement     Very unreliable

Bad app No ability to program a scheduled on off time for my EXPENSIVE water heater Rheem Is committing suicide with this low tech nonsense I am extremely disappointed     Seriously
