I have bought 4 ebook creation apps All of them were 5 or less All of them are way better than this app I was hoping that the XHTML editing function in this app would give me the flexibility to do everything I wanted in an ebook the possibility is there but the app is poorly made and buggy Cons you can import only one image per page from photos not counting background This is typical in all the Cheaper ebook apps I purchased Unfortunately this app automatically formats it to 300x300 squishing a normally rectangular photo into a square You have to edit the XHTML to position the photo where you want it and to adjust the dimensions of the photo in XHTML to make it rectangular normal looking The cheaper apps I bought let you do this by touch and keep the photo in its normal rectangular shape Come on For 15 app it should al least do what a 5 app can do There is a file system that is supposed to allow you to transfer multiple pictures video audio fonts etc But it s broke first off you have to use itunes why not open in function When you use itunes the files show up on the home screen of the app At this point you are supposed to be able to add them to your ebook but you cant I followed the help instructions exactly several times i have tried all other possible ways and i cant get it two work Don t assume I m an idiot I have a masters degree in computer science I think there is a bug in the app So if you want to spend 3x the cost and do triple the work then buy this app Otherwise save your money and buy the other cheaper ebook apps They are all better than this one They are more intuitive and easier to use     Junk Do not buy jonestkbz

This application appears promising until the ePUB is submitted to iBookstore via iTunes Connect My book would not validate I hope this is fixed soon Additionally the read aloud requires using external applications If the publishing issue is fixed I could give this 3 stars If the read aloud could be done within the app itself this could be a 5 star application     ePUB does not pass iTunes Connect Validation Design Instructor

Not sure if 2 star is fair but with the price of the apps I had higher expectation Maybe will update later I was interested in the read aloud feature which is lack from Book Creator Let not talk about the good stuff but what lack of 1 cannot record voice directly from iPad Need to import 2 lack of fonts You will have to install them Why can the apps get the fonts front iPad like other apps 3 once add narrative audio cannot remove from the GUI 4 once insert photo cannot remove it Update you can remove photo audio by swipe two fingers up Odd too fancy for touch feature 5 swipe the page only let you go to the cover and current working page This is a feature but it is annoying It is not as easy to use as Book Creator If only that Book Creator support read aloud May be this is best to bring a finish book over then add audio and other finish touch It is not a easy or complete solution as I hope for to create children picture book at easy         Looks great but not quiet Tuany
