EarthDesk is the ultimate world map and timepiece for your iPhone or iPad. We`ve merged the beauty of EarthDesk and the utility of Time Palette into a single app. Experience EarthDesk`s gorgeous maps and near real-time ...
The almanac function doesnt work It stated that it was 275 degrees at my house at 632 pm I would have noticed that I think You also cant select a location like you can on the desktop version Its very limited and there is no way to tell the accuracy of the cloud patterns The iPad version might be better I have the iPhone version and its less than useful Ha ha ha the 275 isnt temperature Its azimuth Still its sorely lacking in many areas I guess the iPad version is slightly better but I dont own one so I can only go by what I have I cant suggest buying this at this time Get the desktop version     It said it was 275 degrees
Nice but it would be nice to have the option to turn the clocks off                 Nice
For those of us who love to look at the earth and its current state this is the perfect app Day and night times cloud patterns statistics this has it all in an intuitive and trim package I refer to it often to see what my world is doing Thanks Earthdesk                 State of the Earth
I love this app Im a weatherspace geek Not nearly as many options as the desktop software but great for the iPhone In the software you are able to track the International Space Station but not on the app hopefully upgrades will be coming soon Def worth 199                 Love this app
Not as functional as Id like        Would like to see wallpaper compatability
On XericDesigns webpage they describe this app as a stunning world map and timepiece Buried in the middle of a page lush with beautiful screenshots of the app theres a note on the iPhone due to the smaller screen much of what they show on the webpage isnt visible I feel like I have a completely different app than what they advertise on the webpage Boo        I feel suckered
An amazing app by an amazing developer Ive used EarthDesk and TimePalette since its early versions on the Mac and this little app completed the set I highly recommend it                 Amazing as usual
This is a gorgeous version of the EarthDesk background I have running on my Mac It features six clocks at the bottom of the screen each of which can be set to a city of your choice It shows the positions of the sun and moon and it shows the day and night portions of the earth with a very clearly marked terminator It also shows the current cloud cover You can select one of four color schemes Highly recommended                 Gorgeous world map
I love the desktop application and the breathtaking wallpaper images it provides but this version here is absolutely useless All you can do is look at three different screens plus one for two kinds of settings Thats all Xeric Design Are you serious I regretted my purchase and would like to get my money back        Useless
Looks just like the EarthDesk Ive been running for years on my laptops It would be nice if the clocks could be hidden like maybe swipe up and down from the EarthDeskAlmanac toolbar at the bottom of the display and if there was a Now or Current time button associated with the slider control in the almanac Its kinda hard to set the time to now with the slider              Very nice
Nice graphics but short in geography Tried to enter my location in Arlington VIRGINIA pop 230000 No luck Decided to enter Washington DC its nearby Still no luck Finally tried District of Columbia App never found it Really Really           Earthdesk
I am thrilled to have my favorite desktop app available for my mobile devices I have enjoyed this app for years on my desktop and I find it endlessly fascinating Living in Florida it gives me great hurricane perspectives even before they form because of the real cloud maps I had an odd problem once and the customer service was beyond all expectations with the attention to detail and followup I have tried similar apps but none of them are as lovely accurate and versatile as this one is I love having the world at my fingertips                 Superb and fascinating
I checked this out on both my iPhone and my iPad Combining earth cloud data with world clocks and local sunriseset times is most handy It puts in one app what others have in two or three I can see that tropical storm and potential hurricane hovering off the coast of Africa The iPhone and iPad versions differed a bit more that Id expected Its on iPads that this app really shines The mapworld clock combination looks great and the almanac has more data about the sun and moon than I could find on the iPhone version This should be a great app for astronomers and goes well with apps such as Star Walk Tap on icons and youll discover other features For instance you arent stuck with just todays sun and moon data You can set it to display almanac data for other locations and dates                 Marvelous but different
I enjoy Earthdesk on my Mac Desktop because I can customize the view and see nearrealtime cloud formations During Hurricane Season in So Flathats a good thing But this version doesnt offer the customized views as its big brother and I cant focus a closer view showing the Southeast US I also dont know if the cloud views update so I have no way of knowing if its current or not The sunrisesunset info is OK but IMHO its not really worth the price as it stands now with very limited display functionality and so many fewer features Very limited settings too to customize it beyond your main location and times        OK thats about it
I have the program for the PC Didnt think it could get any better Boy was I wrong Images are gorgeous Works like a charm Keep up the good work                 Love it Even better then the PC app
