Lots of video formats that weren t supported by DSvideo can be played by DS file so please we need iPhone X compatibility to watch videos full screen                 iPhoneX compatibility please v587T

I use macOS and iOS Downloaded this app thinking it would allow me to view my files on the NAS It can view most that I have but found that it certainly doesn t work with MOV It would be nice to have 1 app to review all files on my NAS without converting or changing from my native format on Mac If this changes I would rate this higher I will keep checking to see if there are any other issues Thank you             Doesn t support MOV Yellostng

This used to be a great and useful app but recently it completely stopped working for me Nothing in my setup has changed but the app refuses to log in Synology hasn t been able to help me either so it s useless now     Won t Log In Llen

Never remembers what server to login to or my authenticate credentials even when I say remember me Table stakes it should remember this and offer Touch ID to login Also does work with Save to files in iOS 11 It s impossible to save an image from the camera or photos app directly as a result I wish when I shared a link the URL is to synology me even though the app is setup with a personally owned domain This isn t a cheap product I d expect it to have more polish     There s no reason you need my GPS location even when the app isn t running AnnoyedLJD

I use this to duh access files on my NAS For that it works well This includes general app data as well as photos and videos It does a good job streaming videos though with few bells and whistles I use Plex for that It can save files from apps like Safari It is also able to download files from the NAS to local storage on iOS I really like this feature as I can copy videos I want to watch onto my iPad for offline viewing then delete them when I m done I can t recall having the app crash                 Does what I need pretty well Rgxyzzy

This app does what it says but it would be much more useful if it fully supported the new iOS 11 Files app You can access files from within the Files app but it s not been optimized for it so it behaves more like it was tacked on             Works fine but would like iOS Files integration deepknight

When remembering credentials I frequently need to sign in again details are saved but needs 3 extra taps open with functionality missing for DiskStation files works for offline files image auto convert only working in iOS 11 and photo backup feature needs user selection to free up space rather than everything             Getting close Prodigy3023

I m not a fan of this app You can t preview files most of the time without downloading them despite it attempting to do so anyways and the UI is pretty janky if you go to deep in subfolders you have to swipe left a billion times just to get to the downloads I m surprised they haven t looked at what other apps are doing and simply mock them Love my NAS though         Pretty bad TheFinalWolf

The app works fine viewing files on your NAS and saving images videos to your camera roll The problem is when you save files offline within the app this almost always causes the app to crash on launch and there s no way to resolve it other than to uninstall and reinstall             Saving files offline causes the app to crash CincyTriGuy

I love my Synology play edition NAS I just go the newest 13 9 inch iPad Pro with 512GB memory I store mostly photos and videos on my NAS I LOVE THIS APP in general I love using this app much better than the Web interface do to the way it formats to the iPad screen But I absolutely need to view Camera RAW and TIFF file formats Maybe by giving this app 1 star the developers will work harder to get an update out Please     App won t play camera Raw or Tiff files Johnger1234

Video playback seldom works like 1 out of 10 times Also frequently get timeouts when attempting to connect to NAS with this iPad No problems connecting with computer     Unreliable Video playback iPad Annlevin

Ok app at best Only really good for viewing what files are in a folder Sorting features do not work for anything other than alphabetical         Poor app Neeshu

I just needed a way to access share files and save to iPhone This offered that which is great People complaining about video playback pick odd choices for a video player however it does offer to download video into VLC player which is a better player Just click the vid and VLC choice will be offered if installed                     Serves my purposes blissend
