Drumgenius is fantastic It s very easy to find the loop you want from its large catalog and the feel is awesome I literally can t stop jamming to it The Drumgenius loops have a very human natural feel not mechanical at all Much better than any drum machine and frankly it s better than most drummers I ve played with over that last 40 years As stated by many great musicians such as Michael Breker and Pat Metheny having good time is an essential skill for every musician Play any notes you like but phrase them well and it sounds nice Drumgenius is the perfect App to help a musician develop this vital skill of good time Metronomes are fine but Drumgenius is fun and educational The diverse collection of awesome loops provides a fantastic practice tool for the serious Jazz improvisationalist and the developer is extremely responsive He responded to my question in less than 10 minutes The software performs flawlessly you will not be disappointed                     Better than my drummer PilotVince

I think this is a great app i use it every day during my warm up session on chord scales the only thing I think could be added to this for little effort but huge benefit would be a way to combine the patterns so that we re not just listening to the same two measures but rather have the ability to take three or four of the patterns and specify an order for them and maybe number of measures before it switches to the next one that way no additional transcribing needs to be done but rather just a way to combine them and of course they would all be subject to the same tempo Other than that I think it s great and I m glad it s here and I hope you make a lot of money and make some good friends                 sure beats metronome needs combining feature Kerry in SW Austin

I bought the full version of this app thinking I d get all the flexibility I was hoping for I have a good Internet connection at home So I was surprised when I started previewing tunes the thing would just sit there and say listening It s pretty frustrating when you have hundreds of tracks at your disposal and find that it s all but impossible to preview them efficiently Guessing the server could use an upgrade So then when I successfully downloaded a few I started to realize that songs that I know we re sampled for only brief instance of the main groove So whatever flavor you would expect from a song you ll be sorely disappointed when you find that the loop lasts 4 seconds The app is great for ideas on odd time signatures Live and learn         Not So Impressed emohler

I don t want to take away from the work someone once put into this library of beats but the fact is its outdated The app appears to have been designed for iOS 5 for iPhone only the beats all cost money and they re not worth the price Sorry but this one is dead         Outdated and overpriced JStraitiff

I bought it bought extra loops and now can t find a record anywhere of my purchase nor the loops I paid for nor a contact address to get my money back I m back a year later and still no way of finding this guy No his not in the cloud and nor are the loops If you have a problem with this genius you on your own     drum genius Bliksim.

Great playing The app has a very limited functionality Add song option to seam multiple loops together and it might be useful for more than simple practice Even if that was added the quality of the loops would suffer so much when you the tempo that it would sound terrible Maybe you should give the option of downloading wav files instead of MP3 files to help the degradation of pitch shifted loops             Glad I could try a few loops first rsturner2002

Ok so I can buy ten loops for a dollar fifty for three bucks or all of them for nine Then what You can adjust the tempo maybe twenty percent in either direction but you have to adjust the pitch to compensate It doesn t compensate Especially if your adjusting the tempo down Needs a total spectrum of adjustment options or more loops I mean you credit the drummers and don t use enough of the songs to have to pay royalties         Mediocre at best LanceGould

This is a very cool and useful tool for musicians The app icon logo is very strange so I wasn t sure I was downloading the right app that was recommended to me This would be even better if I could import the midi data into my DAW for a chosen loop                     Great App bucheit

I discovered this app from Barry Greene on his site so I downloaded it used my 3 free downloads of loops and was sold I bought the 400 loop pack for 8 99 what a deal So much more fun playing tunes and working out with a good drummer vs a metronome If I could tie together different loops I would give it 5 stars                     DrumGenius is very fun to practice with 4gcole
