I ve been making music on iOS devices since 2010 and this is still the only acoustic drum loop app that suits my needs You can mix and match the different styles as the kits sound the same in each genre Effects can be added in other apps like MultiTrack DAW and Auria for variation The drums were mic d and recorded well again they sound great I think the 10 price tag is fair for what you get Love it                     As Advertised Anorton

I love that this program is compatible with raw recording but the beats leave a lot to be desired The pop rock beats are the run of the mill 4 4 crap They put waaaaaayyyy more effort into the Jazz section than anything else Which is fine if that is your thing I love the idea behind this app but they should get a better rock drummer             It s ok Rabb1t34

For many years I have played solo and in that time I have been terrified to spend money on a drum app that I may not use I started to hit a wall with my music simply because I wanted realistic drums but couldn t find a drummer nor the place that one could play That is where this app came in Simplicity for amateurs and room to grow as a songwriter I don t know how good the quality is for professional recordings but as a tool for writing and practicing it s hard to get this kind of quality in such an inexpensive and intuitive app Thanks for the great app                     Amateur Singer Songwriters rejoice Duck Man Jack

The best drum loops I have found This is not like a real drummer This IS a real drummer A pro in a real professional studio Recorded with Telefunken Mics and preamps among others And now syncs with Garage Band so the BPM can be exact Do yourself a favor I even keep these loops as final tracks on some tunes Killer quality                     BEST DRUMS BINKYLUCY

This app is great I ve downloaded my fair share of drum loops over the years and this one is instantly my favorite from the UI to the quality of the sound I m looking forward to hopefully more loops to come though I have barely scratched the surface on these The few I have used so far have made my songs come alive                     Like a real drummer Jkosch

After not having used this for a while I re downloaded it from the iTunes Store The resulting download produced no audio Solutions listed on the dev s website simply didn t apply telling me to access panels that didn t exist When I reinstalled it from my computer via iTunes it worked Perhaps there is something wrong with an update currently on the iTunes Store Meantime this is an awkward workflow copy two measures go to DAW paste into DAW a many step procedure depending on the DAW go back to HD grab a fill copy to clipboard etc The sounds are terrific so in my book we have a halfway there app Good drumming but could have an easier workflow One thing since Audiobus seems to be supported haven t tried it how about allowing us to assemble a track on the fly It would mean queueing up the fill for instance without interrupting the currently playing selection Five stars if that could be done And I d be open to IAPs I wrote to the dev and less than a day later got a very helpful response and thoughtful discussion Such responsive communication is worth a star all by itself                 Great sound awkward interface Bobbo924

Audiobus support is gr8 thank you However there are times when I simply need to have a l p playing while jamming on a synth or organ app for this Audiobus is overkill and uses more RAM and CPU unnecessarily Unfortunately since Drum loops HD lacks Background Audio functionality I am forced to run Audiobus for such a rudimentary and elementary task Also there are some fellow iPad musicians I know who have no need for Audiobus and or have no desire to plunk down the eXtra ca h for it Because Drum L ps HD has no Background Audio capability these folks are basically penalized as a result Please reconsider your decision to delay if not exclude outright the implementation of Background Audio functionality in an otherwise fabulous Five Star worthy app Thank you                 NO Background Audio MikeDee12959

Love this app though I m still working with it on a few tracks I created with it in daw multitrack I just wish it had a few more tempos a few more variations of drum beats within the tempos also I don t see any kind of blues bluegrass or country type beats which is disappointing for those of us who like to write in many different styles Drums sound great though can t wait to mix them to get a real idea of how they ll sound in the completed mix Please add some more updates of beats I see other reviewers are asking for similar things It ll get 5 stars for me then too                 Great app Tony the tone

The loops sound good but after I paste the first loop into Auria the Drum Loops HD app no longer produces sound until I kill Auria May work with other apps but I don t recommend if you are using Auria unless you can memorize the 700 loops and don t need to hear them before selecting and pasting I really hope this issue is resolved soon         No Sound Bluesman79

I love the concept of the copy to paste board It works flawlessly with garageband I only wish there was more patterns for the money It is a lot like ezdrummer but just lacking the quantity and selection For this price I wish I would have kept using garageband drums Three out of four of the rock beats are just the boom boom pop one of the cheesest rock beats ever IMO I think they need to put a tempo adjustment in the app and that would give a bit more room for variety by eliminating the need for each beat to be repeated with a different tempo Maybe in conjunction with another program such as audiobus this app could regulate the tempo using garageband s tempo Hopefully future updates will improve on these issues             A good start bsbarber73

I love this app it s got great sound great feel If would add more beats it would be even better I will audio copy and then audio paste into StudioHD for the iPad or StudioM For the iPhone to the exact BPM that I want and then Audio Paste it into the recording APP that I m recording in That way I get REAL drums in my songs Also come to think about it it would be nice if the fills would be locked into an ACID type loop grid so that would likewise be able to be tempo altered As they are they are pretty useless if you are Audio Pasting them so as to speed them up or slow them down G                     Fantastic Sound and feel GuitarGordo

I give this five stars because its got some great beats and this is exactly the way a drum machine should be in the year 2013 real recordings of real drums with a real pro drummer playing them But I have some complaints 1 NO BACKGROUND AUDIO I bought the app so that I could start a loop and leave it running while I jam with other ipad apps like iFretless Bass But as soon as I close this app the drums stop playing To the dev all you need to do is change the audio session type and this app would be a thing of unbelievable iPad jamming power 2 each loop has its own stop button and when you want to play a new loop you have to find the one that is currently playing and stop it before you can play a new one Instead when I press the button to start a new loop it should automatically stop the old loop and start the new one                     Great beats But no background audio gnostic student

I can t speak for all the pasting options etc as I simply use it to jam along and practice with and as a drummer for my band in a pinch at rehearsals Sure it would be great if there were loops at every tempo but the size of the app would be unmanageable These loops sound GREAT and are INSPIRING which is what matters to me most I am a professional bass player if that matters to you considering this I love it                     Awesome for practicing DanTheBassMan
