Got this for my kids They love it and Ive enjoyed it too Presents the information in ways they can understand clearly My 8 year old is devouring it and I had to explain to him how it was educational He understood all the concepts but didnt realize he was learning algebra                 Amazing app

By chapter 2 you are working with some letters and some pictograms By chapter 3 it is all letters You earn more stars when your answer is simplified They start getting complicated and youll need to do the operations in the correct order And youll learn shortcuts like adding a negative to both sides or divide by BOX to move it to the other side Challenging yet totally subliminal learning                 Love it

I love this app it would be great if when you finished the app you could unlock the all activities with numbers and variables instead of monster icons This would help extent the learning and replayability                 Great App with suggestion

I got the first app for my 7 year old who cranked through it easily I got this one for myself Who knew algebra was a fun game Apparently these guys I wish the app continued to generate problems to solve I like this so much more than sudoku and I am not wasting my time                 So fun

Some kids have an aversion to educational software which they perceive as being rammed down their throats akin to people hating vegetables because the are veggies Change the word math when the game is being played into mindmelters or some such cool thing                 Dont use the word math in it

We bought this app to help our daughter review high school algebra Now were all playing the game DragonBox is brilliant starting with critters instead of letters and numbers reduces anxiety considerably the progression of skill building exercises reinforce each concept I hope that a future version will have extra resource materials to name the concepts and order of operations to help learners bridge to the language in their school textbooks We will definitely purchase future apps from this developer                 Fun for the whole family really

I love this game I bought it for my grandson and got hooked myself Having worked my way through the entire first round of equations I did find a few glitches There were two or three times that the solution didnt finish Now I am on the B side and each time I finish a chapter the screen freezes and I have to turn off my iPad to get it going again It would be great to have these issues fixed but I would buy DragonBox anyway              Issues

Both I and my 7 year old thoroughly enjoy this app I have always loved math so math play is a natural for me What is surprising is how much my son who is doing math only as far as basic addition and subtraction in school is understanding and enjoying the logic of Algebra by playing this game Plus he loves meeting the little dragons Now that I know what is possible I cant imagine why any teacher or homeschooling parent would want to introduce the fundamentals of Algebra any other way A truly excellent app                 Really well done

This math teacher anyway I played the whole thing because I was having such a good time Good for grades 68 and remedial 9th Gets pretty much as advanced as you can get before introducing powers Click over to the B side on the homepage for some targeted practice One addictive thing about it is the scoring system which is just like that of Angry Birds You can pass a level with one two or three stars                 Math teacher approved

Choose not to allow the apparently MANDATORY selfie and the app will crash at the end of every chapter completion from then on I find that obnoxious and invasive for something that should be optional and easily fixed Heres to hoping I can revise this review in the future     Short and unstable

Has no real relevance to algebra its just a matching game with shapes and pictures The main menu has practice levels that are not really practice they have random shapes and letters that can be combined 100 different ways and their is only 1 right way to match them It does not tell you how to play the game has so many rules that it does not tell you about they should be listed but they are not you basically have to learn from getting the game wrong about 100 times and that still wont help because the next level will have more rules and different shapes and pictures the rules that applied to the last level wont apply on the new level because it makes up new rules every level I got this app after struggling with algebra for years thinking it would help because google said 80 of people who played this got a 90 algebra perfection rate well I have a 100 perfection rate on algebra 1 and I am 20 years old and cannot figure this game out if it had rules and instructions maybe but until then no and I read the other reviews on here that say their 7 year old beat the game and loves it bullcrap they have to be payed reviews or lies their is no way Dont buy this app its a waste of money     Dont buy it this game is a scam

Our daughter is autistic and has dyscalcula and is having too much fun to realize shes learning math Her stepmom is a math major and thinks this is a terrific way to teach our homeschooled 12yearold the basics PLEASE KEEP GOING We need the next levels                 AwesomeApp

This was a fantastic game for my ten year old I loved it because it took him away from Minecraft he loved it because it had dragons He also is not very strong with basic math facts and he didnt need those to be successful at this game That was a nice confidence boost However he finished it in less than a week Im not bragging Im just frustrated because he and I both wish it had more Please add on Thats why it got a 4 star not 5              Completed
