Just started using this app at v5 9 Not a bad take on the Music Map style music exploration I haven t managed to stump it yet with bands Only getting to hear excerpts is frustrating though I haven t tried the Spotify integration yet My only quibbles thus far are that the UI isn t quite streamlined with some menu diving needed to do the function you want and Youtube isn t functional in landscape mode which makes gives me videos for ants on iPod             Not bad Benny Badman

Used to be a fantastic app when I first purchased it a few years back Now I can t even search for an artist with it appearing always showing a No results found page I ve tried everything from more obscure bands like Transit to outright hit radio artists like Justin Bieber even typing in the suggested artists name Any idea what is going on     What Happened Lucascamposfox

They linked it to a Spotify and now half of the songs have no way of playing a preview because none is available on Spotify Still a great concept to quickly discover music but now failed         Used to be better Silviut

I also felt I had to share a positive review for this awesome app to give kudos to the developer I have a hard time finding new music and artists so I decided to try this app There are so many features built into the app I love the simplicity of the UI and design of the maps and the flexibility of being able to search by artist song being able to save share the maps the top songs by the artist the bios and there is so much more to love about this app Really enjoying it Great job to the developer genius design                     Awesome App margo79

I don t write reviews for very many apps In fact I think this is only the second or third one I have written The app is that good I felt compelled to write and spread the word One of favorite hobbies and joys in life is music Specifically finding new music and enjoying bands that most other people have never heard of The Discovr app is critical to that process Bravo to the developer for the relaunch of the app Lots of great changes It was a long year or so without the app What an awesome surprise to find that it was back up and running If you love music and finding new bands based on bands you already listen to download and fall in love with this app Now                     This app is in my Top 5 Must Have app list CDXVI

The music mapping is such a great tool for discovering new artists compared to features in other services like Pandora or iHeartRadio For future updates I hope that Spotify playlist integration can be done within the app At the moment I have to open Spotify and search for the song I m listening to in Discovr which is streaming from Spotify in order to save the songs to a playlist Other than that I still think this app deserves 5 stars for the vast amount of usefulness it gives in finding new artists that have similar sounds to other artists that I enjoy listening to                     Such a great way to find new music Lindberg328

One of my main music discovery resources Stuff like HypeMachine s Stacks are really nice for quick curated stuff but I like to sit down once a week or so and really spend some time looking for new stuff Discovr falls mostly into the latter category and lets you manually jump from one linked artist to another There is a recommended area that well recommends stuff based on your AM library but the main feature here is the manual interface This app is similar to but sooooooooo much deeper than related artists in AM or Spotify Same idea but you can rabbit hole way better in Discovr The new app is an improvement in pretty much every way great incorporation of top songs bios etc The dev has somehow figured out how to squeeze a bit more love outta me I really think this should have been a paid update and I wouldn t have hesitated to purchase it again if it had Highly recommended                     The new app is here and it s amazing dörkåsbord
