One of The best app I have keeps track of all of my needs a must have app                 Great app

v 540 Bar code scanning rocks Ive been entering our food pantry inventory by hand but bar code scanning with the iPhone camera makes it easier than ever THANK YOU MIKE v532 To manage diabetes properly this app is a lifesaver Being able to control your insulin properly you need to account for all of your meals snacks Being diabetic for about 3 months now the doctor is amazed on how well I can manage my needs I use both the desktop app and the iPhone app A big thank you to Mike at Digital Altitudes                 A lifesaver that just got better

Ive been using Diabetes Pilot since the days of Palm Pilot There is no better tool for tracking and passing on diabetic info I use an insulin pump and both my endocrinologist and Medtronic are impressed with this app                 Gets No Better

App is easy to use Still wish PC version was less expensive Scanning food would be great if I could get it to work on my iPod Only 1 item scanned on about a dozen items I tried              Good

I have been diagnosed with Type II diabetes for over 20 years I am a technology enthusiast and Im always looking for ways that technology can make my life easier or better A few years ago I purchased Diabetes Pilot along with other similar programs for my iPhone iPad and desktop I read all the reviews on line and performed the comparative testing myself By far Diabetes Pilot is the best Its easy to use configurablecustomizable data can be exported and it can sync between devices via Wi Fi or or other methods I only use it on iOS and Windows 7 presently but the sync between devices is seamless make sure you have Bonjour installed and your desktoplaptop and the device targeted for sync are on the same Wi Fi network A combination of new insulin therapy and close glucose monitoring using Diabetes Pilot have dropped my A1c below 6 I attribute this success to a large part in using Diabetes Pilot Highly recommended                 Diabetes Pilot help save my life

For simplicity ease of use and comprehensive monitoring of health status this app is the best I have used It could use more connections to other workout apps for activity monitoring                 Essential

I have tried several other diabetic apps but Diabetes Pilot has been the easiest one to use While its database of foods is not the best one Ive seen it does have a fair range of foods listed I am surprised that market chains like Arbys and Boston Market get fair representation but others like Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds are not represented Also products from Snapple Starbucks Lean Cuisine etc would be welcome I have other apps that do include these sources Syncing my iPhone or iPad to the Mac desktop program via WiFi is a neat feature I hope that in the near future the iPhoneiPad apps will also allow one to select from a saved meal that has been stored on the Mac Desktop Reports are nice on both the computer and iPhoneiPad I would suggest that a setting to graph only actual glucose readings daily not averages could be produced without other elements being measured Also adding in test results such as A1C would also be nice All in all I recommend this app Looking forward to future updates              Very Good App Some Suggestions

Have been using this for a few months now and I have to admit it works as advertised The only thing I dislike is the poor database coupled with a very basic contains search engine it becomes a nightmare to use sometimes Try looking up rice you dont get brown boiled fried etc choices but instead HUNDREDS of anything with rice in the name Tons of fast food but confusing fruit entries where name spelling is arbitrarily plural or singular but not both they should have a radio button to confine searching to raw or fresh or something              Terrific but poor database

I have been a type I diabetic since 1964 Im now age 80 years and have been using an insulin pump since 1989 This program has been indispensable going back as far as one of the early palm smart phones It not only provides good recordkeeping the algorithms are extremely helpful in determining insulin doses both for food and for high blood sugar I have never learned to use the food database very well and I use another food database to look up foods Also my wife has an encyclopedic knowledge of various foods and their carb contents My one suggestion is that you make it possible to use different insulincarb ratios at different times of day as at different mealtimes I am certain many more diabetics join me in offering heartfelt thanks for this program I also appreciate the variety of reports which can be constructed with this program                 Indispensable

Generally very good Lots of features included Odd differences in the way lists are built Categories built in settings exercise built in that section Scan start VERY slowly at times Quick food entry needs Food to disappear Some method to easily save and recover meals is crucial              Good app needs tweaks

Does just what I need in monitoring my glucose level              Works great

Diabetespilot is pretty good overall However it could use a few tweaks for us pump users 1 Need multiple InsulinCarb ratios per day 2 Multiple ISF factors 3 Something other than Food label on each carb record 4 Plots of records not just averages Thanks 5 My A1c has improved              Piloting my diabetes

Ive been using this App since 2009 when I was first diagnosed I can tell you know that maintaining a traditional log would have probably resulted in my doing a really bad job logging everything everyday I love that this app allows a lot of customization and that I print out logs for my doctors                 How can you manage your diabetes without this tool

I use this app every day to monitor my glucose levels medication blood pressure and exercise I highly recommend it to anyone with diabetes                 Very Useful

This app is worth every penny You can customize it input your ratio and it will calculate your insulin based on the carbs and protiens you eat I have the computer version too and I like the graphs it makes the stuff doctors like to see The food database update is great too It has the option of searching for it by name or just entering it yourself It has an option to save your favorite meals too I customized my glucose targets and types of insulins too Theres an option to edit it all if you make a mistake too The program is smart too it will estimate the time of day in labeling as well as date and time making it really quick and easy to enter glucose readings and insulin taken I take 3 kinds of insulin and Symlin this program is a great way of managing it and worth the time to learn it and customize it My doctor is pleased with the graphs I print out for her as well This even allows customization of correction factors if my blood sugar goes too high                 by Les It

I have used Diabetes Pilot since June 2010 when I was diagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic I have used it almost religiously to track my glucose levels and use the PC version to generate reports for my doctor visits While I dont track my eating full time any more I do use it when I find myself losing my self control I honestly believe I can credit it for getting my weight and blood glucose levels under control Thanks to it I have been off medication since mid 2011                 Outstanding

Ive been using Pilot for several years and have creates thousands of records This is by far the best iApp available at any price if you are really interested in tracking your information BG mealscarbs insulin exercise notes Well integrated logical layout nice Bluetooth connection to the desktop app They seemed to spend most of the last year expanding the food data base I dont use it much as I have most of my regular foods and meals in Favorites but its nice when youre out and try something new I gotta be honest about one drawback Ive pestered them a few times but so far with no success They only allow one carb divisor I need to divide carbs by 13 for breakfast 11 for lunch 14 for dinner So I use 13 add a little insulin for lunch and subtract a little for dinner Manageable but a pain This cant be difficult Please fix                 BG CEO

This app does a good job at tracking Important stats I wish the graph processing was better When readings fall out of range the graph disappears No effort made to rescale Also I would like ability to delete records entered erroneously On the whole a good app                 Good job

I just opened up my newly updated Diabetes Pilot app this morning and I am soo happy with the new look and tools The scanner is great Talk about easy entry of food data Thanks for a great update and a great app I too have used this app since I had my first palm pilot It has changed the way I manage my diabetes                 Love this app

They fixed the time stamping problem Im glad they have an extended and much better food database Using it for my 67th year              Very good app

I use this app numerous times during the day with periodic use of charts which I sometimes show my doctor I use it to manage diabetes blood pressure and a daily account of my exercise Very handy                 Multi use

I got this before they had it for the Ipod Touch this does work fine on the ipad touch so no reason to spend 14 for the one specific for the touch Sadly when you scan a food it does NOT stay in the offline data base to use again You have to add it which is a major time waste I subtract 1 star due to I have to buy the one specific for the touch and subtact one star due to scanned foods do NOT stay in the data base This program would be a five if both of these happened It would also be great that uses could share their entered food data bases and possibly thier recipes           does not keep scanned data

No need for anything else My most frequently used app for years                 Great app
