Desktop Connect Pro

Ive spent hours trying to get the remote desktop to work to no avail The documentation is so incomplete or flat wrong its nearly useless Waste of money at this point           Not working as advertised

Although customer service was unable to help with my issues They gave me no problems with a refund           Customer Service

Constant crashes Cant even use Deleting for good     No longer supported

I did what they said about installing it didnt work at all This app can see my PC but cant connect Really i hate it not becuase my money they are fraud     Dont wast your money

Im very excited about this app I tried it without wifi connecting thu my Google accnt and it worked It was naturally slower on 3G but to be able to reach my computer desktop from anywhere is simply worth a few secs extra I have two monitors and both appear just like they were at home Im very pleased the tech support videos are pretty poor Loud music with not a lot of helpful instruction at least its not how I like to learn But not worth losing a star over                 I can leave my laptop at home

My iPad sees my laptop in the menu I click connect it says authenticating and then terminates I sent support an email over a week ago along with the log and NADA Do not buy this app unless you feel really lucky App store dirt bags     How about a little tech support God forbid a phone number or return email

I was able to set up a RDP without putting software onto my computer and the remote desktop function works great I can access my home computer or my work computer while i am on the go But it doesnt really stream music very well And it doesnt stream video at all Which isnt a big deal except that they advertise it as having those capabilities           Connects fine doesnt stream

Buyer beware This program is not very good and is extremely expensive for what it does I really feel ripped off I thought that it would work like log me on where I could see the screen and use files at will Instead you get a few files at a time Ill never use this program I wish there was a way to get my money credited back to my I tunes account but once its gone its gone     Buyer Beware

Does not support Domain VNC authentication No place to enter domain username Its uses simple authentication only Fix this and Ill fix my rating There should be a way to save connections under Network Places as a favorite Needs to have the ability to add multiple shares As it is can only choose one at a time For instance would like to add additonal shares D and E Currently have to delete the single share c to replace with d But this doesnt actually work it still shows c I have to delete the SMB saved place and recreate or just create a new one that points to d Would be nice to have an add button additional shares and a refresh that worked for shares As it stands this is a pretty good app but VNC not working in an enteprise environment really makes it unusuable for our situation     VNC Authentication

I was looking for something like this but had no idea that there was an app that could offer so much while at the same time being so easy to use its great                 Works great

We have looked at many apps that perform similar functionality This one is in the top five and right now our preferred one to use Both VNC RDP fast reliable and very nice look and feel You wont be disappointed                 Great ease of use and very fast RDP VNC

The guy who wrote about spending hours trying to get remote desktop to work is doing something horribly wrong I got this app working within my small network of 3 Windows computers in no time flat I even see that it has wake on LAN functionality gonna have to see if I can replace my multiapp setup with just this one app to wake up and control machines in my home network locally and remotely              Works fine

Just waste money     Not work at all

I spent a considerable amount of time researching reading downloading and spending money for one single app that suited my needs Then I found Desktop Connect Pro I have a baby LAN in my home with five computers and one four terabyte NAS Desktop Connect Pro filled the void It not only allows me to see all my computers but if I have a file that is a pdf it gives me a choice to open the file with Adobe Acrobat Reader using Open with I gave it four stars simply because it is a work in progress How many software packages have we installed on our computers only to have a new update available to fix the bugs in the previous version or purchase an upgrade for few dollars Unfortunately though the file is imported to my iPad which is not a problem with Desktop Connect Pro but rather the compartmentalization that seems to be unique to Apple products With my HP 500 Slate Tablet I can read and highlight the original file that is on my NAS server or other computer and not need to import the file to the Slate              Spot on for what I was looking for in an app

Color blind is right This app does not work as advertised at least not for ordinary folks I downloaded Easy Connect from the developers website Set up my Google Gmail account Logged into my Gmail account through Easy Connect on my iMac Got a connection Plunked down the 20 for Desktop Connect Pro on my iPad Logged in using my shiny new Gmail account on my iPad Then I got to stare at a twirling icon that said Authenticating until I couldnt take it anymore No progress bar No estimated time to completion No help And also no connection to my iMac Ever Shut down my iMac and iPad rebooted both and tried again Same result Uninstalled both programs reinstalled reconfigured and tried again Same result Tried it again with SSL turned off Same result 20 down the drain If the developers goal was to make me gun shy about purchasing any other VNCRDP apps for my iPad then mission accomplished     What is wrong with these app developers

I bought this app because it claimed to stream sound from the remote PC It doesnt Ive followed all instructions such as enabling sound in Easy Connect as well as try selecting all the different sound drivers The sound menu that is shown in the documentation doesnt exist in the iPad App I wrote Antecea in the email support provided in the app but had no response back There are free iPad apps that do as much as this considering the sound doesnt work Save your money        Hawaii Guy

Did the complete setup got the screen sharing working on my iMac to my ipad 2 all is good except I cant click on anything A lot of people are having this problem and no one seems to know why If I could use the click everything would work fine tech support needs some help Hope I get to use it soon it has so much potential              Works a bit
