This app is a HUGE improvement over the factory Denon app Very highly recommended                 Great app

Not even close to the Denon app Dont waste your time And Im not happy with Denon for creating audiophile quality Components with walmart quality ios apps COME ON DENON     Nope

You cant see the Internet radio on it You have to have the TV on With the denon app I can control Internet radio without having to power on my tv screen Not worth the money        This app is not worth the cash

Tremendously better than Denon App Takes a little while to get it but once I did it was really nice App effectively repairs the crappy Denon UI by skipping steps or allowing things the Denon doesnt allow like changing channel levels on the fly Really like it and use it regularly So here is my next favorite upgrade list create the ability to save a couple of different channel level profiles including the Audessy optimized setting For example I sometimes listen to sports with no center volume and the surround speakers set loud It would be nice to set and save this and be able to jump back to the Audessy settings with a single click Thanks for a great app                 Great Upgrade over Denon App

Like another review mentions this app is critical for getting the most out of your Denon Whether its easy access to the media menu fiddling with Audessy or turning the thing down or off from bed this app makes all the power of the Denon accessible Though not without some minor quirks this app is amazing                 Takes me from liking to loving my Denon

Best Denon app PERIOD Easy to use massive reduction in lag time over other Denon and Marantz apps quick to connect I can now finally switch between Pandora and Internet radio without having to visit the receiver Just a well coded app                 EXCELLENT

This app blows the manufacturers app out of the water I just got the Marantz SR7008 and this lets you change speaker levels and more on the fly No need to bring up the on screen Marantz menu Great App                 Great App

Great app absolutely essential to get the most out of the second zone in my denon receiver I can access so many features that would be impossible by the denon app or the front of the unit Just the ability to turn on the sleep feature for my receiver in another room is worth the low price Most importantly they continue to support older iPads and iOS                 Doubles the value of the receiver

Turned on my Marantz NR1603 The app found the receiver and I was in business This is a wonderful piece of design and programing Easy to control the receiver much more intuitive and powerful than the Marantz remote control which was giving me fits trying to get Internet radio in my Zone 2 I am so happy I found this app Easily worth the purchase price                 Downloaded the app into my iPhone 5

Like the previous reviewer I also almost never write reviews for apps But this one deserves it The app itself is very good and works well with my preprocessor But the real reason Im writing is Im extremely pleased with the support The developer worked with me and got back to me quickly to help debug a problem during installation Which turned out to be in my network My hats off Five Stars                 Excellent App Well supported

App works fine accept for the Airplay function Any ideas how to get this to work My iPhone starts playing the track but the music never comes through the Denon AVR 2112CI receiver Then a few seconds after pressing play the Airplay turns off by itself     Airplay not working

It gives you access to all of the normal features you want plus the detailed settings I havent used the remote or denon app since I bought this app                 Great replacement for the denon app

I bought a mint condition Denon AVR 1912 from eBay Everything works and everything came with it except the remote so I had to download Denons official app Its convenient and free but slow buggy and has limited features DeRemote however is 10x better than the official Denon app Way more features A LOT faster and very stable It has never crashed on me in the 4 months Ive had it Its absolutely worth the 5 bucks maybe even more My only complaint is I wish there was a way to disable the shake to mute feature Since I use the app as my only means of controlling my receiver sometimes I sorta just drop my phone on the couch like I would a remote and accidentally mute the receiver Not so bad when casually listening to music or TV but bad and fairly embarrassing when in the middle of a loud action scene and the receiver cranked up to reference level with guest over Other than that the app is perfect                 A must have if you own DenonMarrantz product

The free marantz app is nice for getting through most of the basic settings ie volume zone 2 source select surround sound radio Sirius sat ect This app can do just about everything that you do with the remote and going online to the IP address of the radio I love it and use it over the original It may not be as simple as the original because it has more functions on it This is a great purchase to compliment the marantz Im using the marantz 6008                 Glad I found this app

This app does not let you see what station you are playing nor can you navigate thru it I do not recommend           Not so good

I just hooked up my new Denon AVPA1HDCI preampprocessor and grabbed DeRemote I am thrilled with the level of control on my iPhone 6 plus and my iPad2 You can do virtually everything and it has sped up my learning curve on this awesome processor Its logically laid out and responds instantly Its helped me to fine just the right settings for music and movies but goes far beyond that with tweaking Audyssey settings individual speakers levels customizing input names and port assignments and so much more Five bucks Worth every penny and then some Im a software engineer and this is a solid app                 Worth much more

I tried to use and tried to like the app that is from Denon to control my X3000 but I kept having issues with it and after deleting it and reinstalling it with still no luck on the quirks I downloaded this app and its much better A few quirks here and there but very very few                 Dont waste your time with Any other app for your Denon

I like Denon receivers a lot but unfortunately their remote controls and more importantly soft remotes are quite bad With this great app I can control and view most of the receivers numerous modes easily and elegantly Unless Denon greatly improves its products usability if this app werent available I wouldnt buy another Denon                 Greatly improves receiver control and usage

The app allows you to start internet radio but gives you no control over the source You can not even change stations or skip tracks in Pandora Do not waste your time or money     Lacks Functionality

After downloading Denons own app I was pretty dissapointed at how weak it was You cant access any of the useful settings I find myself having to use the remote the majority of the time Decided to try this app out and all I have to say is WOW Night and day with this app Blows away the Denon app I love that I can access every setting without having to turn the TV on This app will blow you away You can do everything from it Its only 499 and I would gladly pay more I also like when I looked at the version history that they are always updating the app I feel confident the investment in the app will last a long time                 Denon needs to hire these guys

Just downloaded the app for new Marantz AV8801 The app recognized my preamp right away I actually like using this remote on my iPad better than the Marantz remote which by itself isnt too shabby                 Denny

I have to say I never write reviews but felt I had to on this one I have struggled for over a year to find an app to run my Denon 1912 receiver correctly Everything I tried either hung up after a while GUI was bad poor external media connectivity etc This app is exactly what I was looking for to drive my system I use it to play music off my external network media drive tuner control audio setup changes volume etc it runs the 2 independent zones perfectly I use Pandora pretty heavily and again Flawless with excellent presentation album artwork etc I could keep going but to be honest you should be able to tell by now I am a big fan I was a bit concerned about being burned buying the app up front but could not be happier that I did so With all the money we spend on equipment and music not to pay 5 bucks to bring it all together is insane I know this sounds like a developer written review but it is not Im just trying to get the word out as this is what should have come with the receiver in the first place Do yourself a favor and secure this app                 Best App Ever

I never write reviews but this app is great I have an AVR3310CI that the Denon OEM app does NOT support I emailed Fran to question whether this app supported my 3310 and received a response back real quick To my surprise it is supported The app makes the user interface to the Denon so much easier than the remote The GUI is well thought out and intuitive Well worth the money I cant see how anyone can give this app a bad review must be user error I highly recommend                 Well Worth It

I am impressed with this app to say the least So far everything works perfectly Everything Ive asked it to doits done it without a hitch Someone mentioned it doesnt change the channel for Pandora but I have not found that to be a problem I have the Marantz 1605 which unfortunately comes with a nonbacklit remote control Now I have all the controls lit up like a Christmas tree with this app on my iPad Having all the options on this app has breathed even more new life to my receiver I have no buyers remorse whatsoever Im really enjoying this app                 Just exactly as it should be

There was an article a while back in one of the AV magazines that mentioned this app in relation to the Marantz AV8801 They too thought it was a must have and a steal at the price I dont usually buy apps or write reviews for that matter but this one exceeded expectations and they have great support too Really opens up the processor to make the inner workings very accessible Tremendous help to have so much adjustment and on the fly and control in an easy to use interface                 A Must Have For MarantzDenon Owners

The Denon app takes maybe 10 for 15 seconds to turn on any of the zones DE Remote is instantaneous Denon must be embarrassed                 100 times better than Denon app
