When this app works it provides a nice convenient way to read the Post on my tablet Unfortunately it seems to fail about once a month at which time I cannot log in I have a couple of other things I d like to see fixed before I raise my rating 1 It is pretty easy to download issues for offline reading and I love that But then how do I delete a downloaded issue after reading it There s no obvious method other than removing the app and all its data then reinstalling the app There s no way that was the intended design spec 2 when you attempt to contact app developer support from Apple s App Store the link is not valid Please give this app the attention it deserves and fix these piddling easy things         It s not terrible when it works RAG in Denver

I can relate to all of the comments here as I have been having the same problems This used to work much better but now I am always getting prompts to sign in and the the last two days I cannot even do that Am wondering as have others why I am paying for a digital subscription that doesn t work Returning to daily delivery is not an option as I dropped that except for Wednesday and Sunday a few years ago due to lousy delivery service I was missed WAY too many times The Post has really declined in service and in content in the 17 years I have been a subscriber I feel like dropping it altogether but I do like getting some local news     Tired of this thing not working jvkeranen

July app update takes an ok app and makes it less intuitive Had to delete app because it just said loading and wouldnt display a non grayed readable version of articles Once I reinstalled it looks like there is a new less subtle interface Interface is always visible and super imposed on articles Pages seem a little less responsive Login screen shown at least once every day instead of once in a while like last time If you go to another app and then return to Post the paper goes back to page 1 Easy navigation from one section to the other using the top ribbon bar is gone The quick links on the left to go to section takes you to their web page not the digital replica of that page or section Ads on bottom of screen If you are on the fence about your subscription this will move you closer to canceling July 21 update Looks like the old usable version has made a return for me at least Hesitant to adjust star ratings given how awful the update described was July 23 Constant loading screen appears again with grayed out articles Deleted and reinstalled seemed to fix issues until I got to page 7 and beyond which still say loading after 5 minutes and since it is low res cant read rest of issue     A step in the wrong direction

I never write reviews but this new version is so terrible you need to know It is very choppy and unstable on the iPadwhen you tap to increase font it jumps to another section of the page or goes to the next page It needs a major revamp to even make it usablehelp     AWFUL
I pay a lot now for all access and frequently use the digital replica edition Until recently this was a great app You could quickly flip between pages tap to open up the full article and quickly go back to flipping between pages lie with the real paper But now when you tap nothing happens You cant open up the article All you can do is zoom in and the poor resolution article and try to read the paper It is slow and clunky moving between pages There are additional ads that are constantly in the way of reading the article Terrible If you are going to keep moving more towards a digits paper you have got to make it our apps functional easy to use and RELIABLE Stop messing up the app with every update     This latest update has completely ruined the app

A big improvement over the other apps by the Denver Post I got this because I am a early riser I like to read paper before everyone else gets up They deliver our paper around 600 I thought the should have the online copy done and ready to post by 5 but they dont post it until 545 So it really so it doesnt serve the purpose paper arrives almost at the same time           Love the app but
Ive been watching for a fix to the Digital Replica for almost 3 years and this is it The paper downloads quickly and I can read it off line Earlier versions never worked well and I would quickly cancel my subscription hoping the next version would fix their problems Very happy that the offline version finally works              Finally
This used to be a pretty good app You could read a replica edition of the paper by touching an article once to zoom in on it Moving page to page was just like turning a paper page Or tap twice to get a page with the entire article on it Then press close and it took you back to the replica page It was simple intuitive and effective Now its a MESS Double click an article and you get the dedicated page but when you select close to go back to the paper and it takes you back to the login page The replica view no longer properly fills the page Touching the article once no longer zooms in to read it I think this change was made because they needed to include new popup adds Apparently the printed ads and outrageous subscription price was not enough Finally you used to be able to download the paper to read offline No longer Good luck reading this on a bus or train on the way to work The entire App is now unstable hard to read hard to navigate and a mess Way to screw things up DP Hope you make lots of money on the new popups because youve lost this customer     APP Ruined

As of July 17 the app stopped loading the pages leaving the fuzzy look I deleted and reloaded the app and its almost worse Performance is choppy it keeps going to a login page and theres some type of quirky design in the upper left with a diagonal cutout that seems to have no useful function Plus whats with the pop up ad banner on the bottom I paid for a digital replica subscription which has all the ads already in the paper Please end those banners for paid logged in subscribers Im hoping this is just some bugs that will be fixed at the next release It took a couple of years to finally get it right and this latest update took it down a few notches        Agree with JScott1951 latest update stinks
If you delivered the paper on time I would not need this app I use this app as a back up It use to work then it stopped I deleted the app and now it will not reload When it works its better then the other app but if you cannot load it what the hell good does it do I really hate the Denver Post delivery and customer service but it is the only rag in town     Not so good

I get through approximately three pages of the paper and quickly leave because the pages slide off the page too easily its nearly impossible to enlarge a particular article so it can be read on my iPad and the popup ads interupt scanning the replica edition of the paper If I find a story I want to clip to share with people that day I have to go to a different edition of the paper email it to myself then print it The old version of the eedition of the paper allowed me to print it as I read it onscreen Ive tried the Replica version the Dynamic version and been frustrated with the entire process The Washington Post New York Times and Christian Science Monitor have excellent electronic versions of their newspapers The Denver Post version is the worst I have ever seen I want to go back to the old paperversion because it takes me less time to enjoy my morning newspaper with my breakfast I can clip whatever I want to share and I have a feeling that Ive been able to see everything that edition of the newspaper is offering for news that day If this is the best that the Denver Post can come up with for a digital newspaper Im ready to let the Post go the way of the Rocky Mountain News     Stories bounce aroundimpossible to read

The whole page is displayed but one must use a magnifying glass to view the articles One can expand the page image with fingers but the page slides around the screen when trying move up or down the page This is in sharp contrast to the browser page which is stable and one can easily move up and down the page and to the next page I could not find an option to fix the multitude of problems This is a poorly designed app     Poor display

I pay monthly to subscribe to the DP digital replica edition Until recently it worked nicely on my iPad It was easy to zoom in on articles and doubletap to pull up a complete nicelyformatted article to read without having to flip through pages Now For the last few days its just garbage I have a choice of some dynamic version or the Replica edition And the Replica Edition now responds like frozen mud Hard to zoom inout of an article the close link at the top now dumps me out of the app not out of an article I cant doubletap and read a whole article and there are popup ads So I tried the dynamic version I dont know whats dynamic about it It displays a bunch of little boxes with small font identifying each box with an article But when I tapped on a box to access the article Nada Finally the whole screen just froze when I tried to return to the digital replica version And Im PAYING for this OK Im paying for a little longer but I wont continue to pay if they dont fix this mess What was wrong with the prior version This is not an improvement     It used to work just fine now its trashed
