The Age of Chivalry A time of lusty wenches and black hearted villains. King Richard has been murdered and England is thrown into civil war Amidst the ringing clash of steel and the thunder of charging ...
Dont bother i loved the old game this is a bad port Slow and awful controls
No way to select ammo in siege so catapults and sieges useless No way to transfer units into and out of garrisons so area control is impossible Other things missing too Weird that this is such an incomplete port Missing much of original game
Game works fine wrote the game wont reset however although the nes would restart from the ending the Amiga Atari and commodore64 would stop there the game was over the 50 floppy disk ran its last data thats the end that way you know its over there wasnt enough memory in those computers to start again you had to get up push reset push power or change the game therefore your wrong the game works correct per Amiga as well as Atari commodore64 so Im sorry to inform and regret to inform you your incorrect happy gaming Rebutle to game works fine
Dont believe the earlier reviews game works fine but there are a couple of annoyances and one major bug Waiting on the load screens is definitely annoying The review that talks about not being able to select options or move troops back to the garrison army is simply incorrect though That works exactly like it did on my old amiga The big bug I find is that you get stuck on the end screen the one where you get a big ending story written out The game doesnt cycle you back to the start menu The only way Ive found around this is that you have to double click the home button then swipe up on the defender of the crown program to fully close then reload and click restart This bug drops a star from the review but its not critical since theres a workaround game works fine
This game is awful waste of time Dont buy
Amiga version exactly right down to the authentic original timing glitches in the music The people complaining here probably have one of the later more complete versions from a different platform as a baseline Some of these complainers probably never used a floppy disk in anger The emulation works fine and looks great at iPhone 5 resolution As the other reviewer pointed out the one nuisance is that to restart your game you need to force quit and relaunch the app If you owned an Amiga during the Reagan administration you wont be disappointed Fantasticplays identically to original
Freezes at character select screen Wont let me select anybody thus the game is unplayable Im on an iPad 2 but it meets minimum specs Also load screens to start game are ridiculous and you cant just clicktap through them Broken
Works great with all the original graphics and sound Just like the Amiga version I hope developers continue to release these classic games Fond Memories
Hangs on character selection screen A waste of 200 Broken
Why release a game if it doesnt work Game doesnt work
