The textures are not right You guy please look into it Ill rate five stars when fixed        Good game but

A few dialogue changes and some few different pictures and you could play this game as a girl So tired of great games being conflated with male ego fairy tales     Cant play as a girl

If you are looking for a space fighting type of game on par with freelancerthis isnt it If youre looking to feel like the driver of a Volkswagon beetle that has been packed with clowns then look no further There are so many controls jammed into such a small space you cannot activate one without bumping three others The idea of trying to coordinate a fight in these types of conditions is daunting The designers really need to unclutter the HUD Guys if youre seeing this implement multi touch controls for some of the HUD functions else people with fat fingers will write poor reviews The graphics are top notch and the story seems better than most but this wont matter if the controls are in constant conlict with one another        Wait

It is now understandable and playable Great game literally the best Ive seen of its kind pretty dang good production value not static or linear It is fun and immersive                 Amazing

Game has many bugs like nothing being in the shops to buy and graphical glitches that really annoy The game has great potential I hope they correct these problems soon           Please fix has great potential

Unfortunately this game needed a lot of work before being published Anyone who purchases this game is basically paying to be a beta tester The graphics were greatly distorted on my iPad 2 They looked like faded washed out versions of the screenshots The controls were not agreeable with me The storyline seems like it has a lot of potential For the moment Ive uninstalled the game but plan on reinstalling at a later date once some of the bugs have been worked out        Needs a LOT of work

I have really been enjoying the game so far It is incredibly deep and offers a ton of variety But be aware you will sink a lot of time into it The HUD does take awhile to get yourself familiarized with as does the controls on the iPad but once you get it down it becomes second nature                 Super Deep Tons of fun

All that space drama grabbing you reviews rabble does not deny the fact that flying the ship in the game feels too similar to the flying a brick no real physics no even fake physics just a reticule drawn in the shape of your ship Go get GoF2 or even better Vendetta Online as those are way waaay better space simulations Oh i almost forgot Now after update it includes IAPs as well as ADs thats cool right Go pay full price for this game to see some ads     As lame as it can be

Its a nice Eve online clone that reminds me of Galaxy on fire 2 or even better yet the old pc game Freelancer Give this game a try right now traditional rpg sim gamers will not be disappointed with this games depth and open ended ness              very nice

Im a big fan of space RPG types While Dangerous is a good deep and loaded RPG with lots to do decisions to make places to go its a double up of if you want the HD graphics The controls used to be horrid but now much improved They really stream lined things with this update BUT the really bothersome thing is that the graphics are not great and still very dated looking when played on iPad 3 Now they released an HD version of this very same game yay NOT I already bought this thing suffered the absurd user interface and lousy graphics telling myself its about the deep gaming experience Never really satisfied with just an experience thats incomplete visually Now to ad insult to injury they release another version that is HD Totally deflated when I saw that and it took out all the excitement I had when I saw this being updated instantly I had hoped this would get a big graphical boost Nope just slightly nicer looking planets and stuff which are still revealed by the Retina display as mediocre at best Not a happy playercustomer to have shelled out full price for this a while ago waiting and waiting and now I am expected to buy another copy No Im done delete Lesson learned feeling like a sucker Take it for what its worth to you My experience with this has gone full circle and stops now at utter disappointment           Nice space RPG but no improvement to the graphics

This is finally the sort of Elite clone that Ive been looking for Actually its not entirely a clone of the old Elite game as it takes a bunch of ideas from Eve Online but unlike that you can steer your ship manually and fire front facing only weapons Unfortunately its still in a somewhat early state Its playable but it has some bugs and obviously needs a little bit of UI improvement In some areas the UI seems like it just isnt quite finished yet like the galaxy map Also as of this version it seems like the shader is broken for my ipad3 You can still play it but you get white polygons on one side of objects So anyway I wasnt satisfied with Galaxy on Fire and this game addresses the fundamental things that I thought were missing from GoF But for Dangerous to get a 5 star rating some of the UI roughness needs to be improved BTW I suspect that Dangerous is a reference to the name of the rank just before the Elite rank in Elite As Elite was named after the highest pilot rank in the game this one is named after the second highest              Overall good design but currently has some issues

This is a good game but some of the minor things need work The buttons are too small and too close together The objectives arent always made clear There are a lot of typos General descriptions are often lacking information              a good game

Ive had some sort of issue with textures and lighting wherein everything lit appears bright white and some of the textures are scrambledrainbowcolored It makes the game look awful and is very distracting when trying to work out how to play The game itself is quite fun the controls remind me a lot of both freelancer and EVE and the combination works surprisingly well even in the thick of fighting           Graphical issues but otherwise nice

This is a fantastic game that has wonderful potential As someone else said there are still bugs The dynamic lighting is exceedingly annoying as it simply whites things out when there is a star nearby As this is a space game thats pretty much all the time Creating routes with other ships you own is also a trial of patience I would love to see much more in the way of skills and factions and hopefully they will come in future updates If future updates are coming its well worth the price              A great work in progress

Great game with complex game mechanics Once you get things figured out it is also something that can be played in short bursts though you will want to keep at it for hours The complex mechanics are hard to grasp if you have never played eve online No cloud support also means your game is tied to one device Adding a cloud save spot would push this game to a perfect 5 stars              Deep and comprehensive

It was entertaining enough to keep me playing but its still buggy and the story and dialogue feel like they were thrown in at the last minute Bugs hijack missions the companys website says the boarding ship bug was fixed yet this bug was still happening to me boarding ship does not board it follows me at a distance instead of the quest ship Quest mission conversations would have to be redone if I save and come back eg talk to the guy that says to deliver diamonds to station X head out and get diamonds save game Come back later deliver diamonds and nothing happensquest panel says I havent had the original conversation yet Story and dialogue Spoilers ahead Theres only a vague idea of a story and it all felt unfinished I noticed a dozen or so typos and grammatical errors Major things happen but arent explained or sometimes even acknowledged and what plot there is has holes A wingman dies and its apparently a big deal to your character Okay Then youre told to blow some ship up to bring her back Okay sure Theres unexplained time travel whatever Blow the ship up and you end up having a conversation with the person you were meant to kill in order to bring back your girlfriend and you decide to NOT kill the person And yet your wingman is back And there is no acknowledgement of that fact This big deal death unhappens and nobody even has a conversation she just reappears on your wingman list Plus your choice of missions to save her doesnt make sense They are explained as option one easy but lots of collateral damage 60 innocent people will die and option two hard but less people will die there are hundreds aboard this ship you must destroy Thats just lazy storytelling Theres lots of weird story nonsense like that throughout The leviathan at the end is what kills the planet that starts the whole thing off So Im still in the past Why do all the groups know who I am as if Im in the present then Did everyone I converse with come into the past too Thats dumb Time travel still needs to be selfconsistent And the only mission with any difficulty was the pirate queen thing and it didnt even move the plot forward So it has a lot of promise but it needs major editing Mechanics are fine but overall this still feels very much like a beta test           update still feels like a beta test

Welcome to Dangerous and this is one heck of a game This is the real deal folks a game that challenges you to really take the helm of a ship learn it master it and enter into a whole universe of game play It is pretty darn amazing And the story is a grabber from the start I have read complaints that the controls are too difficult or the learning curve is too high No problem there is Angry Birds for that This is a hardcore space drama that challenges you It is pretty amazing Once you get the hang of the controls you love them Yes I had to play the tutorial about six times before I really got it It is a bit like learning to drive stick At first it is frustrating as heck but now you wouldnt buy a sports car without it An automatic sports car Why So who is this game for Folks who want a challenging interesting detailed rich dynamic story driven space simulator that immerses you in its universe and challenges you Not for you Understandable it is not for everyone Theres Wheres My Water for that This game is often compared to Galaxy On Fire 2 I like Galaxy on Fire a lot really enjoy it I also love Douglas Adams But sometimes you want to read some Asimov or Orson Scott Card That is what you have here and it is something special I also like that there are no ads or any cheesy plugs for IAPs Thank goodness for that 5 Stars hands down Also what is the difference between the HD version and the nonHD version I actually asked the developer this one It is the Celestials planets stars etc They are higher res and more detailed on the HD version No biggie but cool                 Incredible

Looks like it has a lot of potential but it needs some work Right off the bat there are some issues with the lighting and textures making everything appear bright white and washed out The HUD and interface are a bit cluttered as well Ive not had much time to play very far into the game yet so my rating may go up a notch but it wont go over three stars until some of these issues are addresed        Potential but needs work

Wont load games Just sits there forever cant tell what the dned controls are just hitting a button either lags or doesnt do anything You cant even really START playing this beyond basic mult choice text response The screen shots What game is that from Total garbage 5 garbage Is that what special introductory price means One caveat It looks like it might be doable on an iPad if you want to gamble Otherwise DO NOT BUY THIS crAPP     crAPP store got me again

Thank god someone finally got it right Its like a stand alone eve online experience right in my iPhone Controls take some getting used to but over all nice app Please add more in depth option of ships and upgrades as well as over all content Retina would be great but I can tell most of the development went into an awesome gameplay experience You guys rock Additionally once you buy the game its yours No hidden costs or in game fees that are so common on the app store now and ruining the market Keep the full game exactly that and youve got a customer for life                 Amazing

this game is very open and sandbox As far as the choices you make in this game they make you think a lot which is a good thing As far as the 1 star reviews thats because a ton of n00bs buy this thinking of a space shooting game and instead get a sandbox rpg The controls are pretty cramped so to avoid pressing autopilot in the middle of a dogfight you have to use about a 4th of your devices screen The game also has a steep learning curve so halfway through the tutorial i had to start over to understand everything The AI is also pretty human some people mind their own business some people wait for weeks for someone to accept their quests some go around shooting at people for no reason and there are some n00bs who are always going in dangerous zones getting hurt and screaming fir help Bottom line if your a gamer get this if you use your ipod touch as your only gaming system because you have to ask your mommy to turn on your wii then go play angry birds or some other stupid 99 cent game                 Its of the few real games on the app store

Good start but This morning I lost all of my saved data and am forced to start over from the beginning I opened the game chose continue from slot 1 the game loaded not from my save point but from the beginning dialogue Please fix this              Good start no micro purchasing yay

This game feels like theres something good buried in here but it needs quite a bit of work to bring it out The interface is TERRIBLE with far too much unneeded screen clutter cutoff text and somewhat unresponsive buttons Making the UI more streamlined and replacing some of the static screen elements with contextsensitive stuff would go a long way to making the game more playable Especially the targetting info Its in the MIDDLE of the screen Thats inexcusable for something that could be handled entirely through an icon around a targetted ship        Nice concept poor interface

Its a good game but its super hard to make and there is some lag probs needs updatedHD graphics and cash in game items Ive played this game for about a week now and dont even have enough money to a Better ship and it also has the habit of crashing back to the home screen when it comes out of warp              Good but

This game is difficult to learn Which is probably why theres a 1 star reviewhowever if you can be patient and learn the game mechanics it is rewarding and enjoyable The devs need to create a better tutorial and it would be great to have some idea of effective ranges of turrets and missles              Not for the ADD sufferer

There is a shell for a pretty great space sim buried beneath the cramped and questionable UI and cryptic quests I was in search of a great space sim for iOS but unfortunately this one falls short because of the high barrier to entry and archaic UI I constantly felt like I was fighting against the UI instead of playing a game If youre the type of gamer that can look past a clunky UI youll probably find a lot to like However for most other players I dont think that Dangerous is at a level of polish to be fully appreciated and embraced           Heres the thing

I love these kinds of spacesim games with lots of complexity for the player to master Dangerous though is an unwieldy bloated poorly designed Frankensteins Monster of a game As many others have noted the interface and controls are ridiculously cumbersome You have to wrestle with a needlessly convoluted UI just to get anything done Dangerous also looks quite poor compared to say the original nonHD version of Galaxy on Fire 2 despite being released more than a year later The audiovisual presentation is poor enough to be distracting The tutorial grinds on forever and will discourage the majority of players from putting any more time into this Once you get through the tutorial the initial story setup is incredibly lame I applaud the efforts of independent developers but if you want to see what two talented and committed people can accomplish go play Gene Effect Dangerous is a hopelessly flawed mess     An Ambitious Failure

Ive been playing this for a while now and im impressed at the depth of this game It took me two tries at the tutorial to figure out what all the buttons do I have an iPhone 4s and havent experienced any graphical problems however some of the words on the menus are cut off My only suggestion is to make the interface cleaner and easier to use Other than that great game Lots of depth and a nice combat system EDIT The new update made the UI a bit easier to use but id like a less cluttered up interface I like how we can choose skills at the start now                 Very deep game with a steep learning curve

Yep Im an old Elite fan too Wanted to take a moment to post some praise for this great up and coming game I have been playing consistently for a month now and have yet to finish the main storyline There are so many things to do that I constantly find myself getting sidetracked and pursuing some other goal Very entertaining It may not be perfect but the devs are very active in improving the game and already have plans for another streamlining update just after releasing the latest No regrets for the price paid If you like exploration trading and space combat Then this is top 3 in the app store IMHO              What I have been waiting for
