DaBus - The Oahu Bus App

042014 Perhaps the app should be pulled from the AppStore already Bus would appear on the map complete with arrival and whereabouts A second later its gone Or it would say arrived but none has arrived 1203 Bus location is showing the other way around ie I am searching for the bus 1 heading east bound It says 5 minutes but then the app is showing that the bus is heading westbound I dont think it can do round trip in 5 minutes Bus route information GPS equipped bus Beautiful homepage Not all bus stops are supported Some bus dont have GPS ETA is sometimes inaccurate location cant be located without Wifi being onsometimes Still doesnt support the 4 screen GPS error in downtownaala park to Capitol     Awesome

It would be a fine app if it would work more than half of the time 90 of the times I go to look at when a bus is coming it tells me no information is available I always have to resort to looking at google maps     Doesnt work

Sometimes the app doesnt work at all It often shows up a sign no longer available its really frustrating     Poor quality and unhelpful

Really helpful in informing bus riders about the general time the bus is coming sometimes its early sometimes its late However the app could use some work it frequently crashes and doesnt show bus information Otherwise its great           Generally works well

The app it self is mediocre There are glitches that slow down the process of finding your bus stop or where your bus is This app has told me that the bus is arriving or running late and it ends up not coming for a really long time So frustrating Come on Hawaii Lets get this bus thing together It could really be a great transit system if the app worked on time and accurately But in the bus systems defense I grew up on a busy city where the buses and trains were ALWAYS on time So I have higher expectations for public transportation Anyways I hope this review helped     Hawaii buses are almost always unreliable

Yes this app use to really work well Now days it has a bad way of not working when you really need it It will work on occasion and most times it wont Most times it will not show the times of any bus for any stop at all I really hope this glitch gets fixed really soon because this app was once a very nice app to the point of not using the times tables but as of now the bus app is very unreliable              Really good but is undergoing a lot of glitches

This app is really good but I would have liked if this app was updated to the latest iOS on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus More people would download this app if it indeed had the latest iOS Please and thank you for taking it into consideration                 Dear DaBus Mobile App

I like this app a lot Very helpful Sometimes it wrong but then again bus drivers are always late                 Great app

Needs to be updated App tells you its coming when its not Not all buses have GPS so theyre basically useless     Terrible

The bus app has been down for 3 hours All it says is to try another route Whats funny is that it says that for all routes You had one job fix it     Reliable when it feels like it

You could miss a bus if you get there close to arrival time or wait longer than expected Occasionally no bus shows up withing 10 minutes of either side Overall it works though and is mostly within 5 minutes Gps feature needs to be more accurate              Good app but arrival times can be off several minutes

It rarely works and when it does the arrival times are always off Im sitting at a bus stop and the app doesnt even work I go online and the arrival time went from 10 mins away to 35 in a matter of minutes Or it says the bus is about to arrive arived departed The whole time Im sitting at the bus stop and it never came PERIOD This is really horrible     This app needs serious updating

Dumb how it says Arrival information is not available Please try a different stop        Need to fix

Im in the north shore and it keeps telling me the bus is about 200 miles south in the middle of the ocean        Does not work

Iv missed many many many buses because of this app Its either ten minutes late or early DO NOT USE THIS APP     Never has accurate times

The bus times are never accurate Bus number 6 at stop 836 showed that it had 3 minutes till arrival I was here on time App showed it arrived but no arrival Still standing waiting for the bus to come and its already been close to half hour since it said it arrived and still not here This app is not dependable when it needs to be However it could be the drivers of the bus taking their time Also it never seems to work when it storms Would be nice if the app was more accurate with the bus system     Works when it wants to work

The bus stops are saying cant use now and now is all the time I cant use any bus stops to fine the time           Fix it now

UPDATE THE APP TO WORK BETTER WITH IOS 8 AND WITH ANY DEVICE NEWER THAN AN IPHONE 4 CMON ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT TO DO     UPDATE

I absolutely love this app It prevents me from waiting at the bus stop for hours waiting for my bus to come For the bus stop near my house I do have to add 10min to the arrival time bc the bus is slower than the app but its still 1010 for me                 Love this app

starting to get real unreliable real quick This app is working less than its touted to Then again this is TheBus notorious for taking buses off route so whatever Im so disappointed in this app     0 stars

This app needs a major update It will give the arrival times one in a while but sometimes it doesnt work So its unless        Arrival times dont work

I like this app when I try to ride bus but on this app sometimes it dont show wat number the bus come That need to fix that and I wish u guys put or add search for bus number not bus stop number           Umm

While I really enjoy the interface and the functionality of the app I have found the schedule the most important part is unreliable It could be where I live waianae but I have been burned by this app several times waiting for busses that never come        Mediocre app

if the buses are able to switch what time theyre arrivingthey shouldnt be listedyou cant be able to be 5 minutes away to departed equally soyou shouldnt have the ability to go from 10 minutes away to 45 minutes thanks so much Im late to class because of you     why even bother

The app gives an okay estimation of when your bus is arriving But be aware dont rely on the app too much Despite showing the time and GPS of when your bus is arriving the bus often arrives really early or really late Rarely does it arrive on time Every once in a while the app wont function and wont have the scheduled arrival times for its routes I tried turning my phone off and on again as well as the wifi but it still didnt work This app can be pretty iffy but its the only app for daBus It just needs more improvements Other than that try not to rely on it TOO much        Sometimes good sometimes really bad

I downloaded it hoping it would give me a more accurate timetable for when the bus will arrive My bus this morning was 10 minutes early which would be fine if I would have known to be there earlier Instead I was left waiting for another 30 mins and inevitably late This app does do a lot but what we need re accurate time tables something I was not able to get with this app     What we need

This would be a good app if it consistently worked Lately it seems to be having trouble pulling information down from the website as the route information not available message appears multiple times throughout any given day If you get smartphone just go to he website It has less problems than this apparently abandoned app        Pretty Worthless

This app is great but I have 2 things that make it only 3 stars for me 1 They need to allow you to name bus stops who can remember that the bus stop to get home from class is 493 and to go into town from home is 1097 Like it would be easier if you favorite multiple bus stops 2 The navigation is slightly wrong itll say a bus has arrived when its not even close and it also says it departed when it hasnt even got there Once It said it arrived and then 10 minutes later it showed up Everything else is great I like the reminderalarm feature it just needs to have a better update of GPS But either way our bus system rocks so thank The Lord for this app Yo this app needs an update bad Please it just gets worse please not every bus has a GPS what is up with that we pay 250 and you cant fix it           Great and useful app

THIS APP LIES ALL THE TIME My bus was suppose to come at 930 and guess what It comes at 941 and a different bus came during that time period Fck this app     I hate this so much

As it says in my title this app is useful for many occasions It determines what time it comes and it usually is accurate when the GPS of the bus location is on But the interface needs big improvements It has been the same for a very long time           Great But still needs improvement

Im leaving abad review dude to the fact that the app isnt accurate It made me miss two busses saying it was coming at a certain time then it lies and Im stuck waiting 40 minutes I hate this app     Horrible app

I use to use this app all the time and it was perfect for letting me know when my bus was coming Now it doesnt even work anymore This needs to be fixed already     Doente work anymore

This application used to be very useful Over time features stopped working and today the application is not up to par It hasnt been updated since Summer of 2012 iOS 5 This app struggles on an iPhone 6 running iOS 8 Please Honolulu this once great app needs optimized for the latest hardware and software     In dire need of an UPDATE

Need to add the info on what time the bus is expected at what bus stop        Nice but missing schedule
