Cubed Rally Racer

Everyone is saying make It less sensitive when turning but the way he designed the game is to TAP the steering buttons the car only goes in eight different directions like with a real 8 bit game Releasing the gas is essentially braking however for some reason when slowing down after a turn the car will wobble side to side I understand that its emulating a car shaking but it sometimes causes the car to fall off an edge I enjoy all three game modes tapping the cow in the bottom right takes you to a fun non stop game but I believe there IS some error with the friction on a turn The car really does slide out of control despite most efforts to correct it It took some getting used to simply tapping for steering but once I realized how the game really worked it became very fun The gas cans in the middle of a turn are almost impossible to get when sliding rolling to a complete stop first seems always necessary which is unnecessary Otherwise this is a tight well made game and I applaud you for it              Some people are confused about control

I got this on free app day but even then I had to delete it The controls are as all the people say is awful I think the worst part is that you blow up after hardly touching anything and you can fall off the track And after you finish a track the next race button should be on the right Its a game that feels its 70 done Cool idea though        Not enough

I cant put my finger on why but I really like this game Ive never played the same level tho I never play any app a ton twice the graphics are great for the concept game play is smooth and its very challenging I like the concept of having to collect gas cans to keep going on longer stages adding to the difficulty since the car isnt the easiest thing to control not that it should be in a rally My only suggestions are to give the car the ability to drift like a rally car does and drop the price I think itd be more fun if the car drifted and make controlling the car in corners easier since itd be more predictable I also think 99 is more of what the market expects for a game like this              I loves it

If u could add stuff u could put on your car and make your car not die so fast it would be cool try to add it with an update              With improvements it would be perfect

Its pretty easy to pick up and play but its really really hard to drive the car It just doesnt feel right Sometimes Id turn too much or expect to slide around the corner Its not really what I imagine Also the isometric view kind of makes it a bit hard to process I think a overhead view would be a superior gaming experience           hard to master

I got this when its free its a realy fun game but it would be a WAY better game if you could build levels for other people and yourself to try                 Need level builder

Dont change ANYTHING just add more cars with different handling A time trial mode against downloadable ghosts from other players And more tracks Maybe an editor We are now waiting                 Time for part two

This thing is great U never race on the same track unless u retry so it doesnt get boring Redline is my favorite thing to do and driving in the cow pasture adds a little extra                 Great game

It is a great game concept but it needs some checkpoints and the ability to add a break and more tracks           Good game

Great retro game but the controls were difficult to get the hang of The game would have fared much better if there was more forgiveness with the controls as they are very sensitive Also the car crashes on impact no matter how slight It might help users learning curve to allow the car to have the occasional bump and nick rather than getting demolished at the slightest hit additionally the reset and subsequent meddlesome countdown at every restart prevents a quicker reset from happening for reengagement back into the game I just wished the devs updated the game since September 2010 This game would probably have some longstanding buzz if tweaks were made But at free as of the time of this post its still worth a shot           Cubed Rally Racer

This has been my favorite app for a long time I play it all the time                 Fantastic Game

Good game kinda I get the retro feeling but the obstacles shouldnt kill the car I a single touch at a high speed Like seriously you guys have alot of work to do Oh and the controls arent that bad if u have gotten reckless racing The controls are considered good compared to SpeedForge also       

Its a awesome game never gets boring and its fun but to complete the perfection of this app they should add a multiplayer so u can race with friends                 Should add multiplayer

I dont see why people give this bad reviews It fulfills what it was meant to be a quick arcade racer so of you want or expect something else then look to more complex games This game has addictive gameplay an amazing revived 8bit art style and almost a new track every time you play If you are willing to spend 2 dollars then this is a good choice but 1 dollar is a more reasonable price for this quick yet fun arcade racer                 Amazing

The controls are needing improvement but otherwise its fun The cow minigame is really fun too              Good but could be better

I think this one is much more fun than Redline And it fits the iPhone 5 screen but could better graphics                 Great Game

Terrible controls Would be far better if you couldnt fall off the world and obstacles didnt instantly kill you        Disappointing

Controls are fine if touchy but the learning curve is out if control Super frustrating falling off the level constantly Graphics are cool though Enjoyed it for free but will delete before I sync again so I dont have to delete it from my pc        Not the worst game Ive played

This game is just awesome At first i was thinking what a waste of money but after playing it a while im finding myself more and more addicted to it The controls are good game play awesome and challenging The whole no guard rails just adds to the challenge and almost forces you to drive perfectly Great time waster Over all i give it a 45 out of 5              Awesome game

Really want to like this gameit is a good idea but the controls or complete lack of control ruins the game Make it less sensitive and add more guard rails so you dont fall over as easily Until then only 2 stars        Good idea poor execution

I started to grow very fond of this game Given its very hard to get used to the sliding of your car but honestly without that the game would be too easy to play So I think that makes the game more challenging I like the overall styling of the game being it all 8bit and such I like the design of the car and the animations of the car when you ram into objects on the track The only reason I gave this game a 4 rather than a solid 5 stars is because this game is VERY HARD No game is perfect theres always going to be a flaw somewhere but I still love it              Very simple and fun

Jared Your other Redline game is totally fun and visually delightful However this game is kind of disappointing The vehicle response is clumsy the graphics seem fuzzy and the tracks arent as fun Its just not as good as Redline        Redline is better
