This app is great for seeking and marking and reviewing But full editing is no where close Also ONE YEAR since last update Cmon guys this needs a major update Please         So much potential nicksak33
I am using this for Premier Pro now that they took away the jog wheel This has been a nice addition now But to make it more useful it needs a trim function for clips Should be easy with swiping or a slider interface             Nice tool but needs some stuff Slambo239
keeps loosing connection no support waisted money don t buy     boo guy37659871
This app is a huge time saver for culling through hundreds or images from a shoot No need to modify midi hardware or program an app It works out the box 29 99 I can t speak about support as the Lightroom interface just works I can say that they took almost 2 years to release the LR interface from its announcement In fact I had all but forgotten that I had the app before stumbling on it in a search for a solution to speed up culling site hasn t been updated in a while so I would assume this is a dead project that works until an iOS update makes it inoperable                 Lightroom Module Works as Advertised for Now thetoglife
This could be a really useful app Sadly it seems like support fell off somewhere in 2013 On the site there s a ton of unresolved support issues Even known bugs that were announced as fixed 3 years ago still don t work My emails own to support went answered as well For what I do I m happy with the feature set if it just worked as advertised but it does not You re better off spending the money on Palette or using a midi controller and midi translator I m hoping Adobe just buys this idea or makes it own version Don t spend any money on this one     Sad Eyes2horizon
It says it s a free app but once y0u download it you ll realize that in order to use it for anything other than QuickTime you have to purchase additional software Not impressed enough with the flimsy looking interface to invest 30 or more Don t waste your time with this one     Not free at all Pancakekisses
Very limited features This is not enough to be considered a professional tool I found myself moving to my keyboard so often that my workflow was considerably slowed down It doesn t even have save It also caused my router to crash every time I turned it on I contacted the company about this issue and they took two months to respond saying only that it wasn t their fault At this point I asked for a refund and they just told me to contact Apple Apple said too much time had passed and they would no longer allow a refund convenient     Unimpressed Buttfer
I finally got an iPad mini G1 with iOS 9 1 3 dedicated for two things Control my digital audio mixer and transport controls for my NLE s I downloaded the app and mac client linked up and purchased the controller before I buy the more expensive Editor versions NOTHING The app crashes every single time on load So far unless its fixed or updated I RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS APP     Cash and Crash ERCmedia
This app rocks Period Easy access to all tools needed for editing if using a trackpad add on as a mouse it flows like a painter on canvas great performance with minor to no bugs Being version 1 0 it is fantastic Would recommend 10 10                     Best editing companion EVER Hairuku
Bought the app for an old iPad mini and it worked great until they upgraded it Then it stopped working and all I got from the makers is that they were sorry and were working on it I bought a new iPad mini4 and tried to download but had to pay another 30 bucks Reloaded everything and while I get a green bar NOTHING works Hours of frustration and now they have 60 bucks and I have nothing Avoid at all costs     Worthless Doesn't alter
I have no idea what the previous reviewers are talking about The app installed easily and effortlessly on my iPad 4 and my Mac Pro This app is a controller for the basic shuttle functions of FCP X It is not meant to be an editor That s what the FCP interface is for This app is just for getting around quickly scrubbing zooming etc and it does it very well Just set your iPad up next to your keyboard and mouse and you have a nice little virtual transport for your virtual video editor                     Fun and easy to use Jrslam
This app used to work Ive tried several times to make it work again Hard resets reinstalls restarts and despite that something makes the fcp x video editor crash I can only hope it gets fixed cuz it s quite an awesome concept     Broken Rtd2870
Tried 3 times to install this on my iPad Air 2 Each time the sync process would just hang about halfway through Finally gave up Too bad     Never even got it to install Lowendjon
As an avid filmmaker and photographer I use Final Cut Pro X and Lightroom more than any other programs on my computer When I found this app I was so incredibly excited but wasn t sure what to expect from the few videos I could find online showcasing the features of the apps I took a chance and bought the Final Cut Pro Editor and Lightroom Sorter interfaces and have been extremely impressed with both of them especially the new Lightroom Sorter interface I do agree that the Final Cut Pro Editor interface could be a little more full featured but at the same time I think it would be impossible to make an interface that would allow you to completely separate yourself from the keyboard and mouse for video editing like Lightroom Sorter is able to do for Lightroom s Library module Still with some effort I ve managed to work the FCP Editor interface into my editing workflow and found a number of ways to speed up my editing it just took a little time to get used to Now I wouldn t edit without it As for Lightroom Sorter it s such a great way to sort through photos in your library I came to Lightroom after using Aperture for years and never really liked the shortcuts for Lightroom This allows me to not only forget about shortcuts in the Library module at least and I have a graphics tablet with assignable buttons that I use for my shortcuts in the Develop module but to put away the mouse and keyboard and sort through Lightroom with just my iPad and monitor and to use simple finger gestures to do most of the work Really impressed and looking forward to future updates By the way in regards to Merlin Creative s remarks about having problems with the setup I would try contacting Ctrl Console s customer support on their website They were super responsive and helpful the one time I had to contact them about getting an interface to unlock on the home screen of the app                     Most amazing app for video and photo editors Pianogorl
It actually worked well at some point Opened it today and app asked me to upgrade the app in my computer for this version Installed on my MacBook Pro as instructed and opened iPad app Well tried to Screen goes black main iPad screen returns eventually Hit home button twice app appears to be hiding Appears to be connected to my Mac as it s supposed to But when I select FCP controller screen goes BLACK Eventually order is restored Again app is hidden REPEAT I tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail I feel frustrated and ripped off Maybe developer did what others are doing and upgraded their app to only work on iPad Pro But I see no message to that effect FAIL     Total Disaster Merlin Creative
I started on tape to tape systems I know what a simple video edit control should have This doesn t do it Too few controls This is made to only do iMovie level editing in a pro app Functions don t seem to work right I m not seeing any customization Seriously I get why we used to have a big stop button when we had video decks back in the day but come on what a waste of UI space And a waste of 30     Not useful for a pro editor nonicknameisnttaken
This app is fantastic if you can t afford a proper control surface this is the way to go I use it on my 1st generation iPad mini with Premiere Pro and simply cannot edit without it any more When I try to edit using only my keyboard and track all I feel a lot of limitations in my workflow this app is as close as you can get to a real controller I ll be using this until I can afford a proper control surface and will likely invest in a larger iPad before then Nothing beats a real controller but this is stable enough to fill in for ot until I can afford one The Premiere Pro Controller is included for free which has basic jogging and playback capabilities and well placed undo redo buttons as well as previous next edit buttons These are all large well placed buttons large enough to rely mostly on muscle memory I do occasionally have to glance down to re accompany my fingers with the button placement Future iPads from what I ve heard will incorporate touch sensitivity hopefully some degree of haptic feedback which will go a long way to minimizing this problem but even with the current limitations even on the smaller iPad mini they re spaced well enough that I still feel more advantages in using this as a controller than relying only on my keyboard and trackball or mouse I bought the Premiere Pro Editor add on which adds several additional buttons for basic editing and switching focus between panels This was definitely worth the purchase I use this regularly most often when I start a project I hook my laptop up to a big TV and sit on the couch with the Premiere Pro Editor running This way I can sit back review the footage and slap together a basic edit Makes it much more enjoyable and doesn t feel like work this way When I m sitting at my desk grinding away at the edit however I definitely prefer the more simple Controller and use my keyboard for the edit functions The Premiere Pro Editor while very useful on the couch when it s the only tool I m holding and I xan use it with both hands definitely shows the limitation of the smaller buttons when you try to use it one handed You basically have to look at it every time you press something for fear of pressing the wrong button Two handed operation from the couch evens out this problem for the most part And it s easier to glance between the TV and my iPad than to glance between my laptop the iPad and the display monitor So the Premiere Pro Editor add on is well worth the purchase but I wouldnt bother trying to use it in conjunction with the actual editing station only if it s the only device you re using Maybe a larger iPad and honestly I ll be seriously considering the rumored iPad pro with the 12 9 display for use with this app for that reason I wonder if it s possible to fashion a slide on cover for the ipad with bumps or holes placed for use with this app to allow for feeling the buttons without touching the screen I would order that in a heartbeat If your budget doesnt allow for a control surface or you want a portable replacement for when you re on the go this app is fantastic                     Fantasic Indespensible ManWithTheYellowHat
I m old school Started on U Matic two deck editing Moved to BetaSP and 1 Inch The one thing I have hated about nonlinear editing is the absence of a control knob tape deck controls This app does the trick From download to it working took about 15 minutes and connecting to the editor was very easy The old muscle memory came back within minutes and I was completely comfortable with this I use a first generation iPad mini and it works perfectly I would highly recommend for old farts that miss the tape deck controllers or for young guys that have no idea how fast you can edit with a controller like this Very pleased                     Great for iPad Jack 52
Waste of time that installed in desktop PC twice but can t open the program on PC     Not working on PC at all TG Force
I dunno I d probably pass if I could do it over     Pricy and clunky Kyles ipad12345678901
Es increible como CTRL ha hecho mi flujo de edicion mas comodo y rapido altamente recomenado                     Muy Buena Herramienta Poindexther
Used to work fine but latest updates don t even finish loading so I can t even get started That s a shame since the older versions looked promising     Updates Crash jpsod
I have a superb physical Mackie work surface but CTRL Console works so well I m getting rid of it I had a glitch with the Premiere Pro CS6 controller when I first installed it but that turned out to be my problem with Keyboard Preferences Once I restarted Premiere Pro CS6 with the keyboard preferences corrected the optional in app purchase controller works perfect Its very responsive and I am quickly getting spoiled Great app very responsive and a bargain in the world of work surfaces for editing Five stars                     Amazing app for Premier Pro editors HappyJackTone
There was a little glitch in getting this up and running but with help from support everything is working great now A fix is in review by Apple right now The FCPX Editor is very responsive with almost zero lag time I m still figuring out how to best use the interface but that will just take some practice It s just nice to be able to sit back and not be hunched over your keyboard to do your editing It just makes for an overall better work experience I look forward to seeing what tweaks and new controllers come in the future This is a very good start though                 Very responsive Makes for a more comfortable workflow RaycerX
Great job on this app developers There are a few keys I would love to see added such as a hotkey for going to the beginning of a timeline The app allows you to move to the beginning of a timeline but you must enable gestures which disables the jog wheel and speed control It s an understandable compromise but perhaps in the future it would be possible to add a custom user button That would really put this app over the top                     Great app DrDJInfinity
Is it just me Sick of the in app purchase sike out     Not free dreux36
Crashing in 8 2             Crashing Incurious Films
This is a fairly decent app although a little pricey with in app purchases it is certainly cheaper than the real thing However if you use Final Cut don t bother getting this There is a cheaper app for fcp7 and a free one one for fcpx and both are better than this one I mostly use it with Premiere                 Best for anything not Final Cut JoshTheColourist
I discovered this amazing app one day later than I wish I had Hours of using my trackpad on my iMac could have been saved Love this It works well with Adobe Premiere CC and I ll be buying it for Final Cut X as well Can t wait to see what they do with Lightroom                     Where was this one day ago SnM Love
Been waiting for an app like this for years Great functionality makes Adobe Premiere even faster to use top shelf features like a control surface costing hundreds if not thousands Love it highly recommend it to any serious editor                     Great app exactly what I needed Premiere CC must have tool kb8wfh
I love the ability to switch between button control and gesture control My keyboard and mouse for the most part go untouched during an edit in Premiere I would love to see support for Avid Media Composer in the future and maybe even some basic Pro Tools controls if Ctrl forrays into the world of audio editing                     Great Basic Editing Control j_chum
Although knowing the hot keys is a plus this makes editing a lot easier more fluid Great job                     I love it Varski
It is a good 0 99 or maybe 2 99 app Even their 15 discount promo price is too high for me But at 30 I personally will never buy it     15 was on the fence but at 30 Cr3ate
Everything about what s included in this product is great The interface is simple and well designed and the limited functions that are included are ones that you ll use frequently I use the Apple Magic Trackpad and have been for years for timeline navigation and to vary up the physical part of my work between left and right hands and his solution incorporates functions that I ve been wishing I had been able to more smoothly perform from a secondary device for a long time That all being said this is not a complete pro tool yet It doesn t replace your keyboard functionality by any stretch of the imagination For those who complained about functionality and price I don t have a lot of sympathy I think it s a great first offering and very much worth the money And it should cost money to access tools like this they were well done and the developer deserves to be paid If you had AVID support this would be a five star review If you are able to somewhere down the line incorporate some sort of multi function setup where I could hot swap between the default button assignments which again I think is very nice to a different page of customizable key assignments mark clip clear in and out points match frame add transition etc then I might just have to find out where you live and come personally give you a hug Every other solution I ve seen or tried for using my iPad in this way with editing software has either been slipshod poorly conceived or downright bad dumb awful This may very quickly become something I use on a consistent basis for both personal projects and my television work Thank you for all your hard work                 Not a complete pro tool but a great start catchypseudonym
I wasted 30 on the FCP app I thought it gave me cursor control and other functions It did not I can t see any time saving or ergonomic advantage over keyboard shortcuts It s just a third thing to deal with in a two hand world My 30 was a donation to the author         Not a Worth It Kallal63
As a video playing editing platform this is incredible Great intuitive design and streamlined functionality make this a must have for video editors Now can we get the same love for audio editors That would be amazing                     ProTools Please bergnorf
No updates for a long time in this fast paced world of app development Gestures and buttons do not work as detailed Premiere Pro Editor crashes Premiere Pro CC when shuttling timeline Expensive In App purchases need more functionality to make this a viable tool to be used by professional Editors         Trapezer Great Concept, Not Stable
This app works incredibly well We ll worth the money My only complaint is that I wish I could customize the layout to supply the functions I use most with my editing style in Premiere User assignable buttons would be so helpful                 Great App But DmC-6mAV
The professionally designed user interface sets a new standard in the iPad controller market It s ability to work seamlessly with the software iPad and MacBook Pro gives me the opportunity to focus on my creativity It s surprisingly responsive when scrubbing the timeline or using the gesturing feature The layout is logical with quick accessibility to the most useful functions of the software I highly recommend this application and I m looking forward to future releases After Effects Controller                     An innovative controller that is conducive to workflow productivity 10-20Global
Worked the without a hitch right on the install Love the gesture control Can t wait to dig into an edit and see how much faster I can cut Fantastic app for the iPad This was the reason I bought an iPad in the first place Thanks Jeff                     I ve been wait for a long time for CTRL Console BeeCeeGee
Como siempre te dicen lo que tiene pero despu s yenes que comprar todo por separado muy cara para lo que hace me quedo con ProcutX que es gratis y hace mas cosas     NO ES GRATIS Elcheale
Now that the few bugs that cropped up in the initial version have been fixed this little app has changed my editing experience significantly The speed of the grunt work of editing has increased with less hassle I am very happy so far Keep up the good work and thank you for addressing the bugs so quickly                     Bugs Be Gone Jonasphill
This is an awesome app worked like it was promised easy setup and worth every cent                     Awesome edit faster for only 29 G808
I have tried several different iPad based systems controlling Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro They have all universally had the same problem they are not responsive enough which makes them unusable because a good control surface need frame accuracy This is the first thing Ctrl Console gets right It s is incredibly fast and responsive I did get a couple moments of lag but 98 of the time it was perfect The next great feature is the option of a traditional jog and shuttle interface or gesture based controls Both methods worked really well for me I found I preferred the gestures because they could be used from anywhere on the screen allowing you to edit without looking at the iPad and you could still use the other on screen controls tool palate undo redo previous next edit It s not 100 perfect I was using it in conjunction with Final Cut Pro X and it desperately needs an attach clip button I know FCP 7 and Premiere Pro don t have a similar function but it s crucial for FCP X editing I also wish there where some options to customize some of the auxiliary buttons a little as I would swap out a few for functions I use more often Lastly I wish there was a way to bundle purchase together maybe get a discount if your buying more then one but that s more of an App Store limitation than anything wrong with the app its self Even with the few small nit picks this is a great way to interface with FCP or Premiere and a worthwhile investment for any editor                 Finally an iPad Control Surface Worth Using Daguerratype
The app was well worth the wait I love editing in FVCX with the controller Can t wait for the Lightroom controllers                 Fabulous grahambbird
This is an app that is worth buying an iPad for I predict that this app is going to change the way people look at what an iPad is Straight out of the gate this app does exactly what it says it will do Provide you with a well thought out sleek and very intuitive interface that makes serious video editing with serious tools simple 20 minutes into a editing session with Final Cut Pro X I was shouting at a colleague to find the idiot who had taken my iPad because I wanted to check something It has become such a big part of what I am doing that I forget that it is an app on an iPad It is simple to setup and does not feel like an app it actually feels like it has turned the iPad into a dedicated device After 5 minutes I noticed that I was doing things significantly faster Rather than my hand jumping from trackpad to Jog dial to keyboard as it usually does it was just moving around the iPad surface After an hours work that I was not stretching my hand as much in fact I had worked for an hour straight We use FCP as well as Premier and Photoshop Lightroom Aperture and various other tools across Macs and PCs A few of us playing with this figure that if the other coming controller add ins are this good then it will pay for itself on each workstation AND AN iPAD in 4 6 weeks through increased productivity                     Just This APP is Reason Enough to Get an iPad racgordon
This is amazing app and have been following it since it started on Kick Starter and loved the idea I love all of the consoles and will be getting the Premiere Editor soon If you are a video editor and are looking for a way to speed up your editing this is the answer                     Love It Kozanne
OK FCP and Premiere are done Time to roll out the Avid Controller and Editor Ive had several other manual user controls that work to control Avid              What about Avid

Used to work fine but latest updates dont even finish loading so I cant even get started Thats a shame since the older versions looked promising     Updates Crash
This is a great app It can really speed up your workflow and take away some of the pains of shortcuts in these pro apps One of the best features is the ability to use gestures Once you have them down it doesnt take long you dont have to look at the screen at all and you can keep your eyes on the timeline Also I am looking forward to the other consoles that will be added down the road                 Wow
As a video playingediting platform this is incredible Great intuitive design and streamlined functionality make this a musthave for video editors Now can we get the same love for audio editors That would be amazing                 ProTools Please

Just used this with Adobe Premiere CC The gesture controls are pretty awesome They allow me to use the iPad as a controller without even looking at it and navigate through what I need to The four star is only because I noticed that with certain gestures I activate the dictation feature of my MacBook Pro wRetina Displaynot much of a hinderance but annoying enough Its currently on the latest version of Mountain Lion Other than that this app is worthy of five stars Great Job with the Kickstarter Im so happy to have been a part of this Now all I need is my Tshirt              Its Great Really Amazingly Great
Ive been following the app since it first hit KickStarter Im so happy its finally out This was one of the sole reasons I bought an iPad just so I could edit films with ease and to look cool while doing it I know this team has big plans for this app and they have been great at response and listening to their fans I know for a fact CTRL CONSOLE will be adding to this app and updating it with amazing features It can only get better from here and the future looks outstanding                 The app every editor has been waiting for
This is amazing app and have been following it since it started on Kick Starter and loved the idea I love all of the consoles and will be getting the Premiere Editor soon If you are a video editor and are looking for a way to speed up your editing this is the answer                 Love It
The professionally designed user interface sets a new standard in the iPad controller market Its ability to work seamlessly with the software iPad and MacBook Pro gives me the opportunity to focus on my creativity Its surprisingly responsive when scrubbing the timeline or using the gesturing feature The layout is logical with quick accessibility to the most useful functions of the software I highly recommend this application and Im looking forward to future releases After Effects Controller                 An innovative controller that is conducive to workflow productivity
Worked the without a hitch right on the install Love the gesture control Cant wait to dig into an edit and see how much faster I can cut Fantastic app for the iPad This was the reason I bought an iPad in the first place Thanks Jeff                 Ive been wait for a long time for CTRLConsole
I discovered this amazing app one day later than I wish I had Hours of using my trackpad on my iMac could have been saved Love this It works well with Adobe Premiere CC and Ill be buying it for Final Cut X as well Cant wait to see what they do with Lightroom                 Where was this one day ago
This is a fairly decent app although a little pricey with in app purchases it is certainly cheaper than the real thing However if you use Final Cut dont bother getting this There is a cheaper app for fcp7 and a free one one for fcpx and both are better than this one I mostly use it with Premiere              Best for anything not Final Cut
This is an awesome app worked like it was promised easy setup and worth every cent                 Awesome edit faster for only 29
I wasted 30 on the FCP app I thought it gave me cursor control and other functions It did not I cant see any time saving or ergonomic advantage over keyboard shortcuts Its just a third thing to deal with in a two hand world My 30 was a donation to the author        Not a Worth It
Is it just me Sick of the in app purchase sike out     Not free
I love the ability to switch between button control and gesture control My keyboard and mouse for the most part go untouched during an edit in Premiere I would love to see support for Avid Media Composer in the future and maybe even some basic Pro Tools controls if Ctrl forrays into the world of audio editing                 Great Basic Editing Control
    Crashing in 82           Crashing
Now that the few bugs that cropped up in the initial version have been fixed this little app has changed my editing experience significantly The speed of the grunt work of editing has increased with less hassle I am very happy so far Keep up the good work and thank you for addressing the bugs so quickly                 Bugs Be Gone
Im so happy the wait paid off I was one of 888 backers and I must say this app is very intuitive and very easy and natural to use This app has the coolest and best UI I have ever seen for an iOS app The green yellow or red bar on the top of the app was a very nice touch I LOVE IT Thanks so much Jeff Chow and everyone else who made this happen                 Best Control Surface
There was a little glitch in getting this up and running but with help from support everything is working great now A fix is in review by Apple right now The FCPX Editor is very responsive with almost zero lag time Im still figuring out how to best use the interface but that will just take some practice Its just nice to be able to sit back and not be hunched over your keyboard to do your editing It just makes for an overall better work experience I look forward to seeing what tweaks and new controllers come in the future This is a very good start though              Very responsive Makes for a more comfortable workflow
Been following and supporting from beginning Have been playing around with it and it is really awesome Works like a charm Love the interface Im an Avid guy who has switched to Premiere 60 for a feature project and really dig it now However I mapped my keyboard to my avid shortcuts so when this sucker will allow for custom keyboard settings it will really sing Also I dont know if it is possible but if ripple delete could be added to the interface that would be sweet as well But overall Excellent app Congrats good sir on the success              So stoked
Great job on this app developers There are a few keys I would love to see added such as a hotkey for going to the beginning of a timeline The app allows you to move to the beginning of a timeline but you must enable gestures which disables the jog wheel and speed control Its an understandable compromise but perhaps in the future it would be possible to add a custom user button That would really put this app over the top                 Great app
This is an app that is worth buying an iPad for I predict that this app is going to change the way people look at what an iPad is Straight out of the gate this app does exactly what it says it will do Provide you with a well thought out sleek and very intuitive interface that makes serious video editing with serious tools simple 20 minutes into a editing session with Final Cut Pro X I was shouting at a colleague to find the idiot who had taken my iPad because I wanted to check something It has become such a big part of what I am doing that I forget that it is an app on an iPad It is simple to setup and does not feel like an app it actually feels like it has turned the iPad into a dedicated device After 5 minutes I noticed that I was doing things significantly faster Rather than my hand jumping from trackpad to Jog dial to keyboard as it usually does it was just moving around the iPad surface After an hours work that I was not stretching my hand as much in fact I had worked for an hour straight We use FCP as well as Premier and Photoshop Lightroom Aperture and various other tools across Macs and PCs A few of us playing with this figure that if the other coming controller addins are this good then it will pay for itself on each workstation AND AN iPAD in 46 weeks through increased productivity                 Just This APP is Reason Enough to Get an iPad
I cant use it on my Mac I keep getting Client is on the reject list What is this        Having issues out the gate
Very impressive as my main editing system does not have wifi it still works instantly and seamlessly As a professional editor who migrated pretty quickly from Final Cut Pro 7 to Premiere CC and brought my FCP keyboard shortcuts with him as it is a setting in Premiere to choose FCP SHORTCUTS I would ask that we bring this feature with us And the day its on the iPhone it will deserves 6 out of 5 rating              Great great integration
Waste of time that installed in desktop PC twice but cant open the program on PC     Not working on PC at all
Im old school Started on UMatic two deck editing Moved to BetaSP and 1 Inch The one thing I have hated about nonlinear editing is the absence of a control knob tape deck controls This app does the trick From download to it working took about 15 minutes and connecting to the editor was very easy The old muscle memory came back within minutes and I was completely comfortable with this I use a first generation iPad mini and it works perfectly I would highly recommend for old farts that miss the tape deck controllers or for young guys that have no idea how fast you can edit with a controller like this Very pleased                 Great for iPad
Although knowing the hot keys is a plus this makes editing a lot easier more fluid Great job                 I love it
This app rocks Period Easy access to all tools needed for editing if using a trackpad add on as a mouse it flows like a painter on canvas great performance with minor to no bugs Being version 10 it is fantastic Would recommend 1010 Adam Reber                 Best editing companion EVER
The app was well worth the wait I love editing in FVCX with the controller Cant wait for the Lightroom controllers              Fabulous
im a Director of Photography not an editor Im now quickly editing on FCPX Nice work                 Great GREAT
Very responsive Great addition to my edit space and workflow                 Responsive sleek
I have tried several different iPad based systems controlling Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro They have all universally had the same problem they are not responsive enough which makes them unusable because a good control surface need frame accuracy This is the first thing CtrlConsole gets right Its is incredibly fast and responsive I did get a couple moments of lag but 98 of the time it was perfect The next great feature is the option of a traditional jog and shuttle interface or gesture based controls Both methods worked really well for me I found I preferred the gestures because they could be used from anywhere on the screen allowing you to edit without looking at the iPad and you could still use the other onscreen controls tool palate undoredo previousnext edit Its not 100 perfect I was using it in conjunction with Final Cut Pro X and it desperately needs an attach clip button I know FCP 7 and Premiere Pro dont have a similar function but its crucial for FCP X editing I also wish there where some options to customize some of the auxiliary buttons a little as I would swap out a few for functions I use more often Lastly I wish there was a way to bundle purchase together maybe get a discount if your buying more then one but thats more of an App Store limitation than anything wrong with the app its self Even with the few small nit picks this is a great way to interface with FCP or Premiere and a worthwhile investment for any editor              Finally an iPad Control Surface Worth Using
It is a good 099 or maybe 299 app Even their 15 discount promo price is too high for me But at 30 I personally will never buy it     15 was on the fence but at 30
As Steve Jobs would say insanely awesome                 As Steve Jobs would say
