Corkulous

I was looking for a private nonweb based local app to replace Pinterest I write fiction and do artwork and I just dont want to share my references and research over a social media network Likewise I didnt want to go with cloudbased Evernote that charges a subscription every year to use all the functions Corkulous seemed like the best solution on the App Store While its great for mindmapping it lacks a few things that I think should be standard 1 Active Hyperlinks currently I see no way to make active hyperlinks or bookmarks anywhere Part of my decision to buy this app was to visually organize my web bookmarks More integration with Safari is imperative otherwise its pointless for research 2 CopyPaste WITHIN the program I have a bunch of photos on the board I decide to move them into another board I should be able to Drag Drop right in there like a folder No can do 3 Change background texture corkboard is all you get Even the default linen background would be at least AN option It doesnt need to look like a literal corkboard to remind me what the app does With those few added functions this program would be full 5 stars As it is Im still looking for better options           Pretty Cool but

This app was amazing Then Appigo Inc stop updating it As of iOS 8 Corkulous no longer works with the iPhone or iPad All emails to Appigo support have gone unanswered leaving me to assume this app has been abandoned and should be removed from the App Store In short do not buy this app because it no longer works     WARNING NOT COMPATIBLE WITH iOS 8

I purchased Corkulous Pro when I first got my iPad about a year ago and didnt use it much Now I have a project where it would really help and it wont opencrashes immediately Click on the board and the screen reverts back to the iPad desktop I reinstalled it but still no luck If theres no easy fix I will purchase a different app for my project     Disappearing app

Ive been using this app for a couple of years I use it for keeping my records organized for a variety of projects ie medical bills contact info conversations for insurance issues cable TV info and vacations I like knowing where info is located and how to access it I love the board within a board design Great app              Great App just buy it

Ive downloaded Corkulous Pro but cant open the boards in full screen view Tried support but had no luck there and I cant find a support email or phone number When I click on a board it bounces me back to my iPad home screen I notice several other similar comments have been posted Its frustrating to have a new toy and not be able to play with it     Cant open boards

OMG love this app tried a dozen list post it and organizer apps but this one easiest and loads of fun I can structure each board as I want for different tasks and import photos inspirational messages and ideas from my camera roll A few minor tweeks like rotation of pictures and notes and would love to be able to set a reminder alarm but well worth my cash am enjoying this as I increase my productivity in all areas household crafting and work Love it                 CorcuFabulous

I make up a corkboard on my iPad consisting of contact records of people from an organization Im trying to learn Each contact record is grouped with a label to help me learn the organizations structure and the titles of the relevant people This corkboard is in my iCloud collection its supposed to synchronize across all my iDevices just like magic However when I open that corkboard up on my iPhone the physical layout is correct but the contacts are all wrong Some contacts are people from completely different organizations some contacts are people from the iPad version of the corkboard but they are in the wrong place and grouped with some other persons label The President has become an Admin or vice versa The Vice President has become a Lexus dealership in Rochester NY In sum the contents has become totally unreliable and therefore totally useless This isnt synchronization its stinkchronization     iCloud synchronization is flaky

Hasnt been updated in 3 years A lot has happened since then and this app has fallen more and more behind It works Thats the best you can say First notes organisation is horrible In fact there is none If you have more than a dozen notes the mess becomes unmanageable Second there is no written drawn note capability Third large notes are awkward to work as the yellow stickie metaphor is very limiting Fourth there are no editing or formatting capabilites such as find replace link bulleted or numbered list table no tab no bold nothing Fifth notes cant be resized freely Whats the difference between a note and an index card Who knows They do the same thing Sixth no todo no alarms no interaction Seventh oh who cares This is abandonware           Abandonware

Ive spent hundreds of dollars purchasing and trying dozens of mindmap apps notebook apps and drawsketchwrite combo apps in search of the perfect interface to enable and capture freeformthinking sessions Corkulous wins and next to Evernote is my favorite app on the iPad bar none Heres why below that what I use it for Nested Boards makes it the perfect for deep knowledge capturing focusing you on only the pertinent information at each layer Multiple capture methods having a variety of ways to capture thoughts stickies tape tasks boards contacts images etc allows you to create a rich capture environment with visual differentiators between thought types The arrowpaper strips allow you to capture process and workflow and the ability to change color allows you to create strong visual cues for different processflow types The ability to change font size gives you the ability to establish easily identifiable visual priority amongst items The ability to zoom in and out allows you to work on a big project zoomed in on a granular level when needed and then zoomed out to capture scope and context on demand The ability to pull in images allows me to work in other apps like sketch apps and capture those artifacts in my cork board I use it to capture screenshots of apps websites etc and pull those into my thought capture interface The completely open nature of the coarkboard is the perfect interface for flexible needs Its an interface that soon becomes transparent focusing you on the content not the interface or tool The tool becomes invisible except for the moments where you suddenly realize how amazing it is to be able to view so much information so elegantly Ive used it to plan my book Im in charge of product management and use it to plan roadmaps prioritize feature requests I use it as my scrum information radiator and backlogging tool Im also over product marketing and use it to outline market needs positioning messaging and plan releases In short its my favorite tool on the iPad hands down Thank you for building it Please dont forget to update it My only complaint is that its app description and pictures falls far short of adequately describing the value this app delivers to your life Please if youre going to build such a good app market it properly This could be the 1 app in productivity if it was marketed well not just in the app store                 Amazing Best app available for freeformthinking

So far i love this board type note taker i have purchased many of them They all seem to be missing just one important feature Im glad this one allows to zoom out to view whole board I like using all fonts from my device I like the look of the whole thing BEST is you can store in icloud and save your own space I just really wish you could change the background with an image from our photo library Sometimes I like to make a organized layouts with separators etc And insert that as my background Sometimes I just prefer a cute one I just appreciate the choice when this is offered Also custom note colors or at least more choices would really blow this app out of the water and away from all the others I would love to rate 5 stars if either or both gets added              So Close To Being The Best

It is a useful app when you want to organize thoughts for a speech or some other presentation but boy is it primitive in a lot of ways For heavens sake why cant I hit a return button to make a boxed thought short and fat rather than three miles long The app is not very intuitive I struggle to understand what the icons means A simple New button for another entry would be really nice I use this app rarely only when I need to organize thoughts for a presentation and I need it but dont really love it        I use it but I dont like it

A nice program but over priced No cloud service dropbox box except iTunes Everything is aligned neatly on the cork board Cant rotate notes except the arrow note There are notecards arrows tape nice little features Help section doesnt need to be an adventure to find things        Its alright

This is a terrific intuitive app It does what it set out to do very well I agree with the previous reviewer who stated that the lack of ability to incorporate active hyperlinks on a board is problematic Developers please address this Hyperlinks are a requirement for this app tribe really useful for any sort of researched topic For example I am interested in using this app to plan vacations and share with my family Without the ability toad clickable links no go              I like it but NEEDS HYPERLINKS PLEASE

When I first saw what this app did I had no idea how amazing it could be I am a teacher of 9 years Our school is pilot for mini iPads All the students have one Whether researching nonfiction topics or jotting down definitions or facts cork pro has proven to be the best app for collecting information My first grade students have multiple boards for whatever we are studying A bonus is that their boards can be easily sent through email I was able to show parents and family members all that my kids had accomplished Their boards are more than amazing and theyre in first grade This app is my students favorite They use it to organized and arrange information without the lost misplaced work Their parents loved what their kids were doing so much that they bought the app themselves My students work on research thats not assigned and sent me their boards from homeon the weekends Happy teacher here                 Changed My Classroom

This app so great You can do so much with it and get creative I use it organize everything from my to do list to my bucket list to my fantasy baseball team rosters It can be quite time consuming to make a board but the finished product is worth it Highly recommend A                 Awesome

Awesome app I use it for ministry sermon ideas event ideas organizing and and everything else It would be nice if you could use web clips directly from the Internet and arrows or writing with a pen of some sort                 Great App

As another reviewer wrote this is rapidly becoming abandonware Some necessities are sorely lacking such as the ability to type text or create lines or shapes directly on the board Resizing of notes and other items appear to be limited but there is nothing in the documentation also lacking that tells you what those limitations are So something as simple as creating column lines to differentiate materials is a pain in the rear Ill limp along with what Ive got I purchased it and having purchased I will use it However I cant exactly recommend it as a purchase to anyone else           Meh

I love this app Its so easy and cool to use I really appreciate how intuitive it is One feature I would love would be strings or graphic addons like stars to help lead the eye around the board especially strings Anyway love what you all have done keep up the excellent work                 Love love love this app

Ive used this app since the iPad 1 I can say that the idea and the functionality of the is App make it the best one so far Do not go around if you looking for such productive and organizing app One more thing we wish they do is to update the app regularly              Simply love it

Its very annoying trying to view a project because certain touches performs unwanted changes For example double tapping the board will add the last option you added to the board Double tapping a pic turns it blue so you can edit the pic when all I want to do was view it larger Even touching a label turns it into edit mode when I just wanted to view it larger There should be an edit button so unwanted changes arent made by accident           Needs edit button within a project

I wish I could set defaults for font color etc I wish there were string connectors I wish you could change the background and I especially wish there were TextExpander support something that surprised me since other Appigo apps have it I do like the app but I agree with other reviewers about the get lost feeling you get when you try to contact the dev For example theres no place to make feature requests which is why Im doing it in a review              Nice app AWOL dev

I really dug the app its still cool I had decided I wanted to make a vision board and discovered that youre ver limited on how big you can make a pic There were some other small things that just didnt make it the app I wanted for a vision board           I liked it

I like this app but I get frustrated when I try to use it for anything meaningful You can create a huge board but are only able to see a very tiny part of it I wish I could zoom out to see all of it I want to be able to create a project with more than a couple pictures and be able to save it to my photos or export it but the tiny viewing area is way too small I have reached the point of not even wanting to try using it anymore and hope they will gives us a much needed update update good deal we can now zoom in and out and export the entire board update years later I think the developers have forgotten about this app There were supposed to be many new features and updates but we have never seen them So much potential has been left on the side of the road to die        With the new updates is much better

This is one of my favorite idea board programs for ease of use but I am concerned Appigo appears not to be interested in rolling out new features As many users have emphasized adding links is one of the features which would make this truly useful and a replacement for Evernote please please roll out an update                 Links would make it fabulous

I use this app for everything Its great for making goal boards for many areas of your life Two things I would like to see 1 Please add a string component would make it soooo much nicer 2 If pictures could be larger on the board It would be really great n some of my boards if the pic could take up a quarter of the space Thanks for a great app and I hope you continue to add features                 Awesome App

Despite its lack of updates it was my main pinboard tool Ive been looking for alternatives and found Pinnic a much better alternative it can attach strings files other than images rotate items and a loooooong etc        No longer the Best

This app makes me wish I had a wallsized iPad to use with it I just started using it but I already have a bunch of ideas for how to harness all of the goodness to make my my life easier Great work                 My new favorite app

Let me start by saying I had a fast response from the dev regarding iCloud sync issues after the recent iOS update He worked with me for the past few days to find and fix the problem and all is working perfectly now It ended up being a problem with my iPhone NOT the app This app works the way a notes app should Its super simple to use and its easy on the eyes so jotting a quick note does not require a complicated bunch of steps AND once you stick your note to your board you can easily access it on your partner iDevice or DropBox even Reasons THIS app beats out all the rest automatically syncs between devices multiple boards for those of us who want the organization free flowing like a RL cork board is so its easy to review at a glance and find what youre looking for perfect for vision boards and project boards etc you can add photos to boards lots of different sticky notes labels colors etc just like you would have on a RL board only without the waste or expense boards are BIG with plenty of space to fill up notes are customizable by color AND size shape Im sure Ive left off some stuff Im still exploring the app So far after buying TONS of notes apps over the years I think this is The One for me Very happy with it                 the way a notes app should be

As a teacher I use this app as a planner checklist project grader and field trip plannerattendance record It has so much functionality that it fits the users needs no matter the task Highly recommended                 Great app for all occasions

Do not waste your money the devs have not supported this app in a long time They only release a compatibility patch with each new iOS and let the dollars from this app keep coming their way while they ignore the users I finally got fed up with the nonexistent devs and uninstalled the app It was a great concept that unfortunately only realized about 75 of its potential        Lazy Devs

Its not updated for a year and I had to buy it twice to post a review Ive submitted a ticket and lets see if they answer it I wouldnt buy anything right now from Appigo Also Apple needs to provide a submission of what happens to apps that arent updated and what customers can expect like a refund     Junk period

I hope this app gets for attention as its such a cool productive and fun app to use There is so something about seeing the whole picture of a project an idea etcand even more so when you can easily add pictures checklists contacts etc to make it interactive Personally though i think its worth it if the app dropped a buck or so probably more would try it Recommends would be adding color labels not just sticky note colors take picture and add soundvideo export to DropBox Thanks                 Surprisingly productive surprisingly fun

Best brain storming tool for me But again please fix the constant crashing I save my boards on Dropbox so I can access it from several devices              Really great app but needs an update to remove crashes

It will eventually erase your data Happened four times to me and Ive deleted and reinstalled aplenty One day you open it up and a greeting screen will appear as if youd never opened it before and not an iota of your pics infozilch nadaI gave it 5 stars so Apple doesnt shove the truth about this horror of an app into a corner This app gets negative 5 stars                 Organizational Horror

This is just one of the best ever apps to have on your device Bought Popplet and loved it but the new version 20 of Popplet does not work well on iOS 7 Corkculous Pro is just the best ever at what it does and the only things it needs is an updated appearance for iOS 7 and the option of a different background than the cork board Corkculous Pro installs on both the iPhone and iPad and the iPad has an undo button on the menu bar while the iPhone does not Lastly give us a button to tap to zoom out to view all instead of the constant pinching to zoom out so often 1010 Stars and will be buying other apps from developer to support their terrific work Thanks so much                 Still the best ever Please update for iOS 7
