To all the people giving this app 1 star Yall are idiots The app works great If your having issues you probably downloaded the wrong app Your C4 system is probably outdated and needs to be updated This app works flawless with my system as well as the hundreds of other systems Ive programmed Amateurs                 App works great

Soon as I open it and start reading the changes made it crashes              The app says fixes app crashes

Quite disappointing that this app uses nonstandard ports and then also rotates their usage This wouldnt allow you to use on very many WiFi hotspots or even home WiFi     Network Firewall Ports

I really dont like the new design especially for the thermostats Its very difficult to use especially with preset settings Its very buggy wish I could downgrade my entire system Control4 has sacrificed performance for beauty        Thermostat controls

Control4 is a expensive system when you control and entire home It does a great job of that However each time there is an app update certain parts of the app dont work For an example we use Slacker Radio to streaming musicsince the update the Slacker streaming function doesnt work There are always bugs and after a release I except more from Control4        Not for what you pay

It got worse with every update Crashes all the time Remote access to cameras takes forever to load     Terrible

New user interface and functions are amazing Love the new layout yes you need your dealer to update the system yes they wont do it without contacting your first I never seen a update with talking with the dealer first the new Hvac layout is much smoother and cleaner the new audio and room layout is very nice All in all very happy with it                 Love my c4 system love the new app

I have received the message Failed to Connect License Agreement Required This message comes up when I am on the Control4 network After talking with tech support we unre installed the app and it seemed to work fine Then last night my iPhone connected to our guest network without me trolling it to do so Got the same message I then turned the WiFi off and use cell service to try and connect got the same message And these messages always seem to happen on the weekends I believe it would be helpful if there are appropriate messages for whatever the issues are For instant not connected to home network is your on another network and your unaware of the setting change or the WiFi is off This message Failed to Connect License Agreement Required Contact your dealer reads to me that Im not a Control4 owner or that Im using a device that hasnt been added to the system Very confusing But just before I typed this review that app once again gave me this message when I was on our home network Closed the app and it reopened working fine again But Im sure this will happen again I have no doubt Hopefully these confusing messages and lack of connection will be addressed sooner than later because at 10 oclock at night trying to figure out why my music isnt turning on is frustrating to me and not at all impressive to our guests that are waiting for entertainment to turn on        App Fails To Connect Multiple Times

Control for has taken something that worked wonderfully and now has created issues where many things do not work terrible upgrade do not upgrade     Do not upgrade

Previous app suddenly gave me a message that previous app was no longer supported Upgraded to 27 Connects and works with one of my systems Errors with an unable to connect obtain a license 40321 message I paid 500 per each system for the unlimited license Now they want me to call a dealer for support     Wont recognize license

Yup as others have said OS 9 is causing the full screen view of cameras to crash the app Lets get it fixed control 4 Surely your aware of this problem by now Wheres the update Were onto 91 now and           Crashing cameras

I hate it now This is one of those cases were instead of the update making things better they ruined a good thing Its not as user friendly The original version was more concise and everything on one screen Now there are 2 to go back and forth thru The engineer behind this DOWNGRADE is an idiot     New update TERRIBLE

The app itself is fast and responsive and we havent had any problems But I do feel that it needs a interface upgrade On the website everything looks sleek and modern So do the products themselves But the interface does not fit in well with the current apps It looks too bold and feels that it is still a 2009 ios 5 app It needs a update where it can fit in too the new deign of the modern digital era and something that blends with iOS 8 Especially since we have mounted iPads It looks out of place But the system itself runs perfectly Please control4 update your design        Fast and responsive but needs an update

Took away zones option from listen This was an option I used every day Thumbs down on this update I dont need pretty icons I need functionality     Control4 update
