Contacts Journal - Lite (Universal)

I just downloaded the Lite version to evaluate the app It seems simple yet powerful enough to do most things In my mind what would make this app perfect are the following 1 Ability to import from Contacts groups These groups are synced to iCloud from the Mac and it seems that this app is already aware of them because you can add a contact to them But sadly you cannot import contacts directly from a group This would help tremendously in keeping work contacts separate from home contacts 2 The interface could use some customization abilities I would love to change the font size for example Other than that this app seems to have what I need              Almost there

when i click the app its ok for three seconds but then a black screen apears and it wont go away i tryed restarting my ipod by turning off and on but the black screen on the app wont go away     there are bugs that need to be fixed

I like the contact features especially custom fields but unfortunately theres no access to my calendar Once Ive contacted a prospect I cannot set an appointment within the app           No calendar

I have looked at a bunch of stand alone products and this is the first one that just works like I want it to Its early I just started using it but it cleanly imported my contacts I pulled a client up and sent him an email it integrated smoothly with my email software and logged the interaction under the client This is basic but this is the first product that has worked simply and effectively for me Like it              So far so good

cannot work with exchange contacts Its too bad because I liked the layout     Worthless if using MS Exchange

Easy to use Sync with Dropbox nicely It does it job for me              It does its job

I tried other apps for managing a network of business relationships and this is the best by far It has a clean and efficient layout The feature of showing all logs and all to dos on one page is great Also useful to duplicate a log entry and transfer it to another contact connected with that entry Can pull contacts from the Contacts app or enter directly into this app I am syncing between iPad and iPhone Also works very well with Dropbox It has crashed unexpectedly a couple of times but started right back up without data loss This is one of those rare apps that actually makes my life easier If the crashes stop Id change to five stars              Very useful

I can upload a picture of the contact but Im very hesitant about spending 1000other apps are less than 4                 This is a great app but I think the price is too high I do like the fact that

If you are looking to track people this looks like a great tool If you are pursuing companies with many contacts then this may not be the right tool        Lacks B2B CRM features

After you fill in a contact it gives you an error message and crashes dont bother with this useless app unless they fix it     Dont bother

I bought both the iPhone and iPad versions of the app Like the paid apps the Universal Lite app has a Backup and full Restore function but no true syncing across iOS devices let alone automatic syncing like Day One and many other apps do If you make any updates on both iOS you will lose the updates on either your iPhone or your iPad upon doing a Save to Dropbox and then a Restore from Dropbox on each device This means to keep the app on each device in sync youd have to save to Dropbox after each contact update and then restore from Dropbox on your other device before making any updates on that second device I havent used the app enough to comment on the the complaints about the handling of locations and reported app bugs Giving two stars for now Ive requested auto sync functionality of the developer        Doesnt Really Sync More Accurately does Crossdevice Backup and Restore

You cannot import emails into contacts Scheduling an event is inconsistent therefore cannot trust it when it updates your contacts on the computer it OVERWRITES the info vs appending it lost important history        Ok but

I dont WANT to sync with my contacts I want to make a completely new data base and it wont let me unless I give access to my current     I was hoping for more control deleted

Updating review after purchasing the full version This is a great great app Most useful app Ive bought from the App store Using it to track my clients at my law firm so many good features in here and keeps getting better Now even better with TouchID and works great on my new iPhone Love it                 Works great

This is a great app to maintain a CRM on your iPhone and iPad The only issue is the sync between devices Its available on a Mac but with as many lost notes logs and appointments as I have had I wont try to get it to sync between 3 devices              Sync issues

Would not add contacts and without contexts it does not work deleted the App Dont understand why anyone would publish an App that clearly does not work     Doesnt work

Ive had a great experience using this application So good that my company is looking at having all of the reps use it Ive posted previous reviews and all suggestions have been taken in latest updates One more suggestion make this for PC so that it can be used and synced between mobile devices and PCs                 Great ap

I was disappointed to see that this does not simply access my contacts but only allows import of them into the app with no subsequent sync of them between the app and my Contacts thus over time they will have different info Similarly only email created inapp shows up in the app I assume the same is true of the calendar etc So unless the user is prepared to use this app exclusively and for everything and doesnt care about iCloud syncing of contacts email calendar etc to other devices then the app will require duplicate entry and maintenance of both this app and contacts mail and calendar It also means I must start from today leaving behind all legacy data And thats a dealkiller for this user     Inapp activity only

I was very excited when I found this app The best compliment I can pay this is that this is by far the closest approximation to ACT I have seen WOW Well done The only weaknesses are somewhat HUGE 1 There is no live sync between my iPad and my iPhone The only way I can get this to work is clumsy manual data migration via Drop Box 2 No version for my Mac Most people who have both and iPad and an iPhone are likely to have a Mac If these product were to add live syncing via iCloud this would be the 1 app in the world after also adding a 100 compatible Mac version with synching too Until these two things happen I do not see myself able to recommend this product to fellow Associates        Mark Walmart Home Office

If you arent in business just a busy regular person do not bother It costs too much for what it does I loved this app Until I paid 10 for the upgrade from my iPhoneand discovered the iPad app was another 20 I needed both so I have nothing Refund It is a great app but I dont think it is 30 great Very disappointed        10 iphone 20 iPad apps

I dont want to sync with me personal contacts either We already have a Contacts app dont need another one I was hoping to find one that I can use for business separate from my personal contacts I would never use my cell to contact a client     Useless

This is a great app to remember what you have promised your customers and prospectsIt is the first basic CRM for the iPad that works It does a basic sync with your contacts on the ipad so you can continue to manage everyday contacts in the default contacts and email apps I want to use this app but I need desktop support I am a heavy Evernote user as well and put all my notes there CJournal is a solid productivity tool to manage KEY accounts when you are on the road I have faith that the developer will continue to add features Their support and response time is excellent If you are ipad and iPhone only userthis app is for you All in one Price is right and does not have hidden add on fees compared to other products                 Great App for IPADiPhone

Great app I was about to upgrade but then I noticed an issue when the password is enabled After I close out of the app and then restart it gives the user a quick peek inside of the last page that was opened For some people that may be okay but for me its a problem Ill definitely check back for future updates Again great app              Password Issue

Needs to keep its notes synchronized with notes in Apple contact app doesnt you have to manually export Did not read in past emails into email log only future messages you sent from the app     Doesnt integrate well with Apple Contacts

Love this App but wish you could change colors of the map pins For example as a sales person it would be handy to have a color for clients and a color for prospects              Sales Executive
