What a great app Easy to use Love the ability to export reports and the map function Wouldnt be without it                 Great App

I liked this a lot It did what I needed Until it crashed and everything I had in my Logs was lost Im not an app developer and recovery of the data wasnt easily understood I wish this worked exactly the way it supposed to because it could be valuable Until you lose the Log info that you cant recover PLEASE fix this I really want this to work     Good until it loses everything

Im a personal trainer and I use this app all the time to track the progress that each of my clients are making Its easy to use and I like the fact that it easily syncs between my iPad and my iPhone A great way to keep records on the go                 Great App

It took me awhile to figure out how to use this app Once I got it figured out what I need for critical customer information and make it flow into my daily day to day customer tracking process this app has really help me improve and better track my customer contact The only wishand I know this might not get done but here goes 1Being able to choose what email account to send an email from would be nice 2 Need a cook book or blogs on how to use this app and where to leverage it in the real world A lot people will not be able to understand this app without more BusinessHomeClub use case examples to help develop a user thought process to leverage this app to the fullest Other than that it does what it does well once you understand your Customer Contact process              Not bad at all

This app has a lot of potential but iCloud sync doesnt work right I have a MacBook Air iPad and iPhone connected to it and they are never in sync        Has Potential But Sync Problems

This is the first time Ive ever written a review for an app But I believe the money I spent on my iPad and this application have been the single best investment Ive made in my sales business The sinking via iCloud with my iPhone still need some work but other than that this app has made me thousands of dollars There may be some other similar apps out there but from what I found this is by far the best there is I doubt you will regret purchasing this app and it is a musthave for any independent sales person                 Best App a Salesperson Could Ask For

Warning if you plan to buy one for iPhone and one for iPad I recommend you to use Dropbox sync instead of iCloud iCloud sync implementation in this app is currently unreliable You will have data loss and you will be asked to troubleshoot until you give up        iCloud sync problems add private contact oddity

What started out as a great app has started to have serious problems for me Contacts are being deleted or merged with similar contacts The result is that I have been losing valuable information which is becoming difficult for business           Not so good

Excellent for lite contact management syncs well and now has a MacBook app Live support would help Also the same document can only be loaded once Have to change the name every time              Needs live support

I use this program daily and am a huge fan Couple things I would improve would be the ability to add custom tags for phone numbers and addresses and a more seamless backup to Dropbox when using the program on two or more devices              Borderline awesome

I utilize the app near daily It helps tremendously when it comes to putting together weekly reports for activity Integration with contacts is right on and the ability to export all records directly to email                 Fantastic

I love this app It helps me stay organized with all my clients It is simple organization and easy to use I have tried several ways and apps to keep notes and to do items on my clients plus viewing documents related to each client This is positively the best app I have found If I have a question on how to do something I get a quick response back Waiting for version that will work on my iMac computer                 Best app I have found

Working for a company that doesnt currently have a CRM program this has been a lifesaver I love being able to import and attach notes from meetings and have everything with me when meeting clients I love this program                 Perfect

I am commercial real estate agent I use this app to keep track of retail properties and everything related to them It is super easy to use It allows you to add files and have them attached to the contact I cant say more of how many great things you could do with it Great customer service the app developer has replied to my emails and suggestions immediately                 Simply amazing

This app is great for on the road cold calling sales reps My boss requires me to keep daily call logs of where Ive been and who Ive visited This app has saved many evening hours by being able export in CSV format It is a great tool to keep organized and manage contacts and follow ups A real time saver and money maker                 Perfect for cold calling reps

Fantastic CRMlike utility that adds an additional metalayer of customer mapping notes tasks meetings etc on top of your existing iCloud contact data Use this to track conversations followups and email communications with dozens of clients across multiple state territory Love the integration with existing iCloud data something few other CRMs allow since they frequently try to tie you into proprietary cloud databases One thing I would love to see is integration with existing emails like many other CRMs do allowing sentreceived emails to be tagged back to existing contacts This is critical to allowing update to communications in the very medium where most modern communications happen In comparing this to similar product DayLite for MaciOS this is the one major thing DayLite does better Developer responsive and promises a Mac version of CJ soon so hopefully that means some form of plugin or integration with OS Xs Mail application as well              Fantastic iCloud MetaCRM Email Integration Needed

I have about 1000 contacts that I see on a monthly bases Contacts Journal allows me to keep up with the personal stuff in their lives that builds relationships It also allows a great record of all my contact visits phone calls letters and so forth I would not want to keep these details in the contact notes because some of the information is personal And Contacts Journal allows password protection They are quick to update and always improving what I have found to be the best Customer Relationship Management APP on the iPad                 Best There Is

Wow what a great way to keep up to date with my clients I really like the way I can customize the fields to my business Definitely recommend this app                 Should have started sooner

My situation may be unique due to the size of my database and it may work fine for you but it didnt for me t have approximately 10000 contacts in my iPad iPhone Mac etc each with anywhere from a couple of sentences in the contact notes to as much as 10 pages of information I was looking for something that would be faster more comprehensive and enable me to be more effective I bought the app for the iPad and the iPhone a total of 30 figuring it would be a good app due to the rating etc Transferring the contacts from the iPad contacts to the program was quick easy and all you had to do was click OK About 35 minutes later all my contacts supposedly were transferred I then did a search for a contact I tried to enter the name but I would press one letter and had to wait 510 seconds to press another letter then wait again then press another letter and wait again It took 30 seconds or longer to type in the persons name just to search for their information I then figured this wasnt working so I went down the alphabet on the right side and got one of my contactsbut not all the information in notes had transferred That was enough for me I deleted the app from all my iPads I use three and my two iPhones Im going back to what works has worked has its own issues but can be worked around which is the address book that came with the iPad iPhone and Mac I spent 30 had it for less than an hour and deleted it Hopefully you wont have the same problem I dont normally do reviews this is probably my first or second in using apps for over 5 years and owning approx 500 apps but I felt this was such a waste of money for me I didnt want you to have the same issue Probably if my database wasnt as large it would be OK but I have quite a few contacts and information in the notes section for each contact It may work great for you otherwise     WISH I HADNT BOUGHT IT

I am a lawyer and have been using both the iPhone and iPad apps for the last 2 years and really love it Cant begin to tell you how well its evolved and how useful its proven for me I use it to keep track of my clients my peers even meetings with partners at my firm and this keeps me on top of my game Great job Excited about the Mac app                 happy customer

I have used Contact journal since 2012 and now all of my notes for the last 3 years are just gone I am talking 100s of hours of work and Record Keeping with customers Im in SalesEng I have tried every way to reach out to Contact Journal and never have received any type of response I loved Contact journal and turned several people onto it I wish I had not Also with all of the iCloud backups My notes are still gone Make sure you do not make the same mistake I did Find another App     3 Years Notes Lost

Absolutely the best CRM Ive ever used                 Love it

Great App helps me get rid of tons of little yellow sticky notes keeps me on task                 wonderful

A few nice features but all are rendered useless by the inflexibility in the scheduling part If you are working a fixed route you need to be able to set the dates for your follow ups and set up a rotation This cant be done reliably with this app Calls can be set to recur daily weekly biweekly or monthly but no calls every 3 weeks and monthly is not based on 4 weeks so your stops randomly end up on different days or even weekends User Edit I have tried several different apps for contact management and none really have all of the bases covered I expect that is due to the variety of sales procedures but something about paying that much again brings out my inner Internet troll Anyway I have been using the app for a bit now and it still has the same limitations as far as scheduling but as far as the other features is the best I have found so far It has crashed a few times but I have never lost any data and closing the app and reopening clears it Emails data and todos can all be applied to an individual account and it does make things a little easier overall I still cant call it an absolute musthave or go 5star because the scheduling thing really limits its capabilities but having explored the other features I can say that I have gone from feeling ripped off to a 4star One update away from ideal           Edited Inflexible

Support always gets back to you ASAP although not able to fix issue Currently use iPad 2 32gb with latest updates The app used to function reasonably well however in the last few months it has become useless I did buy the 999 The issue all revolves around number of contacts and mapping I can use the App until I map attempt to map the contacts It then just freezes and wont do anything Period Developer suggested to try and map in Smaller groups No good Just will not work correctly on iPad I have about 700 contacts When it did map before it was very slow dropping pins every time you opened app I now use Sales Navigator to Map and it builds the Map very fast I however like this app much better and found it the best out there for the money until it quit working        Used to work great

Ive been looking for a simple CRM app for sometime I looked at software such as salesforce but thats way too sophisticated for what I need I own and run the video production company with clients and staff to managethis is just what I need And I love the fact that its available on iPhone iPad and the Mac Email integration would be nice to be able to track emails to a specific customers                 WOW fantastic CRMlike app

I absolutely LOVE this app and all that it does The BIG PROBLEM however is this the synching is very very problematic I have a MacBook iPhone and iPad that all have the CJ app latest version I have followed all instructions meticulously ie about not editing data when the app is running on more than one device simultaneously I have followed all instructions from the Support Team But the app simply will not synch correctly via iCloud I have had to back up the data dump the iCloud data and start all over on all three devices at least five or six times over the past few weeks in order to keep the devices synched with each other This problem causes me to downrate the app to only OK If it were not for the synching issues I would enthusiastically rate it GREAT           Synching Issues

I would to start by saying this is the program I am in the majority of my day Contact Journal is my base from which essentially my life is in I do not use for a business but to run my busy familys life I manage data from past and future appointments to projects to dos to keep my life organized and on track They have done an excellent job of allowing you to turn large amounts of contacts meeting phone calls and to dos into well organized information that is available at your fingertips With that said there are some areas I would like to see some changes to So here is my wish list for an already great program Contacts 1 There is a search window on the top of the contact page that scrolls up as you scroll through the contacts The search window should be fixed and not scrollable That way you could go right to it and not have to scroll back to the top of your contacts 2 On contact page the info tab should display the contacts website and be launchable Currently you can press on the upper left where photo goes and contact info comes up but would be more convenient on the info page Logs and To Dos 1 When creating log there should be an additional category for projects That way when you generate reports you could have all the logs and to dos for that project display in one report Currently if generate a report and include all the contacts logs or to dos with the only option to date select a range and not just ones related to a project As an example my sons truck was hit in parking lot and I wanted to track the repairs This included the insurance company of the driver that hit him along with our insurance company the repair shop and Logs and To Dos we need to do to complete the job Generating a report with these contacts brought up all Logs and To Dos in these contacts You can date select but if you had any logs or to dos not relevant to the project in that date range you cant omit them So I would like an area to list a project when creating a To Do or Log 2 When you create a Logs and To Dos There is a location area where you can enter a location that when pressed takes you to a map showing the location along with being able to get directions to and other information pretty cool Currently you have to manually enter an address where you should be able to select from your contacts The map displays pins of contacts and if you put a contact address in the location it create an additional pin which I dont feel is necessary if you could chose one of your existing contacts Maybe it could change the color of the pin if you have a To Do or Log to that address 3 Setting up recurring To Dos should be more customizable As an example a To Do recurs on 4th Thursday or every six months Now you can select year and quarter but I have some item I complete every six months but that is not an option Map view When you click on location it takes to the map view that shows the location and on the left is a column of all the contacts sorted by distance closest to farthest I feel the contact it is mapping should be highlighted or shown on left column without having to scroll to it Just more convenient I have been using Contact Journal for some time and wanted to put it through it paces before writing a review I still dont feel like I have realized the full potential of the program and all it is capable of Dont take my wish list as a negative these are just some items I feel would take the program to the next level Again this is one program that brings organization to my chaotic life To the developer keep up the good work as the program just keeps getting better I would like to say how appreciative I am of the developer that always answers emails promptly and timely with answers and solutions well done                 Organize your life with a great program

I was an ACT user for 20 years and was not happy to find that when I switched everything to Apple that ACT was not available To bad for the people at ACT Contact Journal is a great app and only getting better Like a fine wine I look forward to using this app for many years                 Fantastic

I have sales management and recruiting responsibilities This is an excellent app to keep notes and activities in one place The mapping feature is excellent when I am traveling and have time to drop in on clients and prospects I use the app on my iPad and iPhone and have enabled the Cloud backup                 Excellent App for Sales

Great features for road warriors especially the mapping feature is super useful Been using this for a couple of years cant live or work without it Keeps getting updated all the time Mac version was added recently Couldnt be happier                 Great for sales

I am getting used to the interface and app functions I am still playing with the alarm portion to see how well it helps me manage future contacts For as simple as this app is it seems to be doing what I need it to do              HELPING ME DO MY JOB

This app is fantastic for anybody who has to manage staff or document interactions during the day Not only can you import agendas and PDFs but the customization available with this app to fit your day to completely takes the burden out of employeemanagement documentation this app does it all I would love it if it would support a handwriting option However this app is perfect the way it is I highly recommend it                 A must have for any manager

Seems like a nice kit especially the idea of integrating onto all devices So I jumped in and bought all three iPhone iPad desktop if I want it on my laptop buy another For this to work its a big commitment I imported Contacts and synced to iCloud successfully which seemed to work between phone and tablet But the expensive desktop module didnt import groups or images Groups are the key to managing my contacts and the desktop is where I would do most of the organization and planning on a real keyboard I reached out to the developer over a week ago asking if Id overlooked anything No response They could have invested more time in making the manualFAQ more informative and navigable hyperlinks anyone DONT BUY THIS SUITE     Not a sweet suite

I have a very large portfolio that extends over several states this app is very handy to keep track of all your people not only when you are out in the field but when you are servicing new accounts you can upload any doc to the file and a log keeps track of every conversation also there is a good feature that saves every email you send from the app to the contact I have been using this app for about 8 months and have been very happy One more thing when you are in the field you can look at the map tab and it will pull up contact you have entered then you can just hit the pin and you can get directions to the contact this is a great app the only obstacle i have run into is searching for contacts without the map if you are looking for a contact in a specific area you cant just enter in Great Falls and find your contact you must go to the map and have it load for me with so many contacts it takes a minute to load but otherwise very happy with this app                 Huge Portfolio covering several states

The app works as described There are a lot of features in comparison to other comparable apps Helps me keep track of my busy sales schedule as well as keeping track of all my sales proposals Also adding attachments from other apps into CRM journal is very easy It would be nice to have the ability to write a proposal right out of the app and then it automatically log it into the client But this is really not that big of a deal I can wait for the MAC desktop version Keep up with with good updates This is a quality app i will recommend to my freinds                 Great App

Im an independent employee benefits representative and have soooo much going on Contacts Journal is easy to use and does what I need Reminders Appointments Contacts Logs everything to keep my business running smoothly Even sends emails from the application and makes a note of it in the contact file Highly recommend it I use it on my iPhone and iPad                 Keeps me on track and on time

This program is awesome I especially like the reliability user interface and the log feature                 Program is Great

I was once able to export all my logs into outlookI loved that Now it no longer works If they can fix this issue its a five star           Export issues

I have been using the app for a couple of years and love it It would be helpful to mark the latest visits with in the last month on the map so you dont have to access the logs The map could highlight only the contacts visited and revert to normal if it is over 30 days              Great app
