I love the idea considering I live in an unsteady area But I cant get past the confirmation of phone number part I wouldve loved to use this to keep me safe but it looks like it wont be happening Im disappointed     Sad day

Downloaded app and tried to activate it but never was able to get the security code from them A person can only wait so long to receive it After reading the reviews I thought Id better just delete it by companion        Get it right guys

Great idea but I never received a code to be able to use the app        No code

I really wish I could get it to work The first time I tried to use it it took me to an area where it asked for my phone number and I couldnt get out of it i couldnt log in because I hadnt created an account but it wouldnt let me out Deleted the app and tried to download it again but it wont load I give up Too bad because I love the idea     Wanted to love it

This app really helps me I feel a lot safer when Im walking home The only problem here is that my contacts know when I reach my destination but when I try to see if they are safe I dont get notifications infact it doesnt alert me at all I have all my notifs on so I know thats not the problem But other than that its great              Great app but

The app was full of bugs and its definitely not something that I can trust Calling a friend instead would be much more reliable     Cant trust this

I was really excited to get this app after reading good reviews When I was walking to my car at midnight after work I wanted to use the app but it froze and then exited out doing so five times Someone totally could have attacked me while I wasnt paying attention Its so much easier just to call a friend        Great idea but shut down when I needed it

Everyone should download and more importantly use Companion Even if you are walking in a group its better to play it safe                 Everyone should use this app

When I enter my phone number to start the app the message not able to sign in appears making it totally useless for me     Wont Work

Thanks so much for helping a mom of a teen to breathe a little easier when shes out with her friends Fingerprint and Watch OS support would make this app truly unparalleled              Love the concept

While the whole point of this app is amazing it doesnt work My friend and I tested it today and it had told me how long it would take her to get to her destination She left and drove home and the app said she was in the parking lot here for over an hour It never moved        Good idea bad app

I just downloaded this app last week and its already revolutionized how I stay safe and connected with my family and friends I absolutely love companion and would recommend it to anyone on the move                 Great and Useful App

Love the idea but I cant complete registration The app gets stuck when I try to select my gender which should be optional by the way Based on the other reviews I wouldnt bet my life on an app this buggy     Cant register

Ive been using Companion since it was released and the new update has definitely improved my user experience My close friends and I have noticed an improvement in the live map and they have been receiving all of my notifications for my trips I want to sincerely thank you for building Companion                 New Update is Great

sorry but the I feel nervous reminds me too much of the racist sketch app even more of a problem though is the limited gender choices people of other genders are exponentially more likely to be harassed on the street and they cant even list their gender in the app get it together please developers youve ruined a wonderful idea     I wanted to love this

I like the app and the idea of it However it has yet to track me when I use it or track my friend when they ask me to be their companion It the dot that marks me or my friend just stays at the start location        Great potential if it worked properly

Cannot import contacts Cannot search for contacts Have given permission to do so Deleted app Re downloaded Same issue Dont need the app if I cant get contacts     No contact

I use this app every night on my walk home from the library and class I have never had a problem with it Works wonderfully                 Awesome app great idea

Love the idea of this app Its bloddy brilliant One thing I would changeI would want to check in instead of automatically checking in I tried it for the first time tonight it checked me in my destination while I was 3 houses away Is there a feature you can augment to have me check a yesno if Ive arrived Pretty awesome nonetheless              Cool App One issue

This app has worked perfectly for me I often use it with my girlfriend friends and parents This is my favorite app and would recommend to anyone                 Great experience with this app

1 Should be a passcode or fingerprint scan for the Im okay button Cant an attacker also hit that button for you otherwise 2 Apparently the app needs to be open and on your screen the entire time while youre walking for your companion to track you Should allow tracking while its running in the background 3 Unreliable It said my friend had accepted my invitation to be my companion when he really didnt He didnt see the text until I had already reached my destination So I walked home thinking I had a companion watching mebut he actually wasnt        Good concept needs fixing

Ive used this app several times while walking home at night and it just makes me feel a bit more comfortable Its also great to use while driving When I tell someone Ill text you when I there 90 of the time I forget to send the text upon my arrival Using Companion definitely helps solve this problem I love it                 Awesome App

Cant even get past the verification screen I tried two hours ago to get a code sent to my phone It never showed up     Wouldnt even know if it works

This app is great and makes me feel much safer on my way to school and home However it constantly closes on its own and Im not aware until Im home or if my companion calls me              Greatbut

App was telling my companions I was at the same starting location throughout the whole commute     Horrible

I was going to give you guys 4 stars but this week has me scratching my head This app was doing just fine last week but all of a sudden Im having to reenter my destination while in transit no notice of crash or things sent to my companions that something went funky it just goes back to the North America map so many times I just give up Also I cant see my friends even generally if I go to check up on them and vice versaits just a map with no ping Please fix this immediately           What going on

I love companion I never felt comfortable staying late at the library until using companion My roommates know to expect me home from wherever I am and it really puts me at ease I hope everyone can see the benefits of companion like I do                 THIS APP SAVES ME EVERYDAY

Confirms that your contacts are tracking you when in fact they are never notified Terrible     Doesnt work

I go to a very big school top 5 every year for partying and I study very late almost every night Weve had a lot of girls go missing this year who still havent been found and now that I downloaded this tried it out and it worked I feel so much safer than I did before I constantly get approached by strange men and the I feel nervous button is an awesome idea since our campus police department is always trying to figure out areas where creepers are always lurking I feel 10x safer walking home I think it would be a good idea if we could create a profile on our accounts this way if something does happen the police can maybe get sent a description of what we look like too I know apps like the one my school police made includes that because it really helps speed up their process in figuring out who and what to look for Thank you guys so so so much Im an RA and will be telling all my friends staff and residents to download this app ASAP                 Finally I can feel safe One suggestion

I downloaded the app but then tried to add my phone number but it wont allow me to enter it using my keyboard so I dont get the right format and it never sends me the code to finish registering     Cant get the code

The app worked perfectly I put in my destination chose my companions they agreed to follow my trip I took the bus home it followed my path it checked on me twice and it notified my companions the moment I walked in the door Only both of my companions never received any indication that I had left or gotten home They didnt even know Id used the app Which makes the app 100 worthless In fact worse than that it gives a false sense of security This app is a waste of Internet space     Works perfectly only it doesnt work at all

People raved about this app but my experience hasnt been that great Its very slow to update and it crashes frequently which wipes my entire trip Had I not checked my phone during my commute I wouldnt have known and then what if danger befell me Id be screwed           I had hope

So my townhouse only had two garage spaces and we have three cars and usually I end up having to park like 5 minutes away and its super dark and scary at night where I end up parking so I use this app and it really helps me feel safer and my hubsy honestly such a great app                 Use this every night

I am so excited to see that the creators are listening to the reviews and fixing the app This is such a great idea and the update has given me the ability to select contacts and use companion to the fullest                 Awesome Update

I love this app I am a college student living in an unsafe area and Im always nervous walking home Almost every night I use this with my sister and boyfriend and it gives me much better peace of mind HOWEVER It does not allow you to choose when to notify your companions you are home It simply notifies them when you reach the location of your destination My apartment is next to a sketchy bridge that I have to go under and it almost always says I am home while I am still not even past the bridge Also the entrance to my apartment building is unlit and I still feel very unsafe while opening the door and walking upstairs I would much prefer if I could press a button to say Im home when I actually get all the way upstairs to my apartment I love this app but it needs to be updated again           Great App BUT

1 poop version of FIND MY FRIENDS 2 crashes randomly often 3 doesnt find me anyone from my contacts 4 update blocked me from main screen 5 their slogan is misleading They dont find you anyone to walk with Dont waste your time with this 6 just Delete it Update Still annoyed that it doesnt work My friends all talk about this app but they Im the only one whos even tried it     Just delete it

Its such a useful app to know where my friends are when they are traveling to and from their homes We each live in different states very far from each other so it keeps us very close Its also nice to know that I am with them and they are with me when we are alone The only thing is there are quite a few bugs but the developers are working on it and are very easy to talk to as well as willing to help Thank you Katie              Peace of mind

Every time I select a spot and then a companion it just shuts off Cant use it     Crashes

After selecting my companion my husband it indicated he had been notified accepted and was actively following me and my route we were both highlighted in green as well his phone was not even functional at the time and never received anything Scary thought if one was actually relying on this After receiving the alert that the other person accepted and was present you would assume this to be true and not just an auto reply How misconceiving deceptive and dangerous to play with the safety of others relying on such a thing I would like to believe this to be a glitch of some sort but I would think this to be a very very important one to fix Defeats the entire purpose and actually causes more harm and potentially dangerous situations than good to be under the guise of help        Safe

I love the idea of this app and would love to actually use it but when I choose a companion it displays No contacts in the upper left Then when I finally get it to go through it doesnt actually send a message to the person Please add more bug fixes so I can feel safe walking around especially at night           Great concept but

I go to school in a shady part of a metropolitan area and use this app whenever Im walking alone whether its from the library or from the bars I notify my mom at home and a couple friends on campus so I feel extra safe still think there are some kinks that need to be ironed out but I love this theory and idea              Great app
