Really What a crappy app Much needed IDEA for an app but this aint it Someone make one worth my money Not goodat all
There are not many native species but I find the is well made with a nice variety of eggs shaking the phone and then you get to see the bird cool Like the app
Not too many relevant native species available Interesting information but not a good resource for identifying local eggs yet Needs more species
What a waste There is only 34 different species here I believe most of them are not from the americas One big fried egg
Do not buy this app It is a total waste of moneyits not even worth free There is nothing in it but a handful of egg types and most are not from North America Total ripoff Egg identification
Was hoping for an Audubon style guide but this was the ONLY app offering an egg guide What a disappointment Not only are the number of listings small as others have said but there is virtually none of the info one would expect or desire to see about each egg type As an example the full listing for the common quail shows one picture and says Eggs of the Common Quail are a famous delicacy Due to their small size they rather dont qualify for satiating a hungry person Thats it No description of color or mottling No indication of size by precise scale such as in cm or mm No description of typical nesting locations or materials commonly used Nothing about the number of eggs normally found in a nest Nothing about what region any of this could be expected to be found To make poor matters worse there is no search of any kind Which is fine for what little is here but if by chance this matures into a worthwhile app loaded with all the info one would hopeexpect how would someone determine which bird species is responsible for laying x number of eggs in rockysandygrassyholetree location let alone what species lay bluegreenwhitebrown eggs that are plainspottedmarbled and 23cm35cm3in All this and more is what I would have considered to be part of a basic egg guide Obviously this apps author has a more purist definition of basic If only Id read the few reviews in here the app author would not have been rewarded for this hugely disappointing waste Of little value severely lacking info
