Turn-by-turn GPS navigation when riding your bike, with spoken instructions to keep you eyes on the traffic. You will never again need to stop and look at your phone when uncertain if you`re on track. If ...
Less than 3hrs of battery use vs 89hrs with strava or googlemaps Why     You need a LONG extensioncord
I have been looking for something ALMOST exactly like this for a LONG time Thank you CoRider developers Most of my vacations are spent on my bicycle I usually pick a destination and then map out bike routes using Ride with GPS I then download and PRINT a cue sheet For as long as I have had an iPhone 1st generation Ive been looking for something that would talk to me give me audio directions so that I can focus more on enjoying the ride and views as opposed to trying to follow a cue sheet Why did it take me so long to find CRider The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because I wish it would actually give me the EXACT cue as it is written in the file For example my cue sheets are very detailed giving street names at turns landmarks and points of interest all which I manually enter when creating my route in Ride with GPS Although those details do convert when I import into CoRider the audio cues only tell you when and what direction to turn It does not tell you the name of the street or any of the landmarks or points of interest However if any confusion it is nice that I can switch between map and cue sheet view A few other things that might be helpful 1 If it somehow highlighted where you are on the cue sheet view Meaning if one of my points of interest is coming up I could at least see it on the cue sheet Currently I would have to scroll through the list to find where I am 2 Not a huge deal but would be really nice if there was a simple cycle computer built in just the basics odometer speed average speed etc I could then eliminate all the gadgets on my handlebars and just have my phone All in all GREAT app Thank you              FINALLY
Although I do like the exploration of being lost on a ride sometimes mostly I only have a set amount of time to ride so getting lost is a problem This app gives me the confidence and accurate directions to explore new rides on a tight schedule The developer has been very responsive and the new version 53 is great I actually use a Divoom Bean Bluetooth Speaker velcroed to my frame which provides great audio for the turn by turn directions and is also great for music This really is a super app exactly what I was looking for                 Gets me there in time
Very cool little app with a great sexy voice It routes you along known bike paths when possible not necessarily the best routes if you know the area but good for a stranger Nothing complicated                 I just like his accent
Appears to use apple maps despite what the description says Guides you down major car roads in Orange County California Unfortunately I have zero use for this The hunt for a proper bike navigation app continues now that apple foolishly gave google the boot     Missing many common routes
Crashes on startup even after reboot and hard reset Version 13 iPhone 4 iOS 511     Broken
I create routes on the MapMyRide website export that to a GPX file email it to myself then press and hold that icon in the Mail app on my iPhone Then I choose to open it in CoRider and voila I have just created a route that I can have audio turnbyturn navigation for when Im riding my bike So glad I found this app It is too bad that I have to use two different services to achieve this and MapMyRide doesnt just have this built in but oh well This works really great                 Great TurnbyTurn Nav for Cycling
The app can clearly be improved but this is so far the best app for find good bicycle routes I have found              Best directions for bicycles
Nice clean interface and very good voice quality Maybe this is due to compass issues but directions are sometimes given in absolute terms turn north rather than relative ones turn left which is confusing since you often may not know which direction is north especially when the phone is in your pocket and you have no visual reference And a feature request While the built in route finding works OK its not that good at finding destinations by name even when the place is labeled by name on OpenStreetMaps it would be REALLY valuable to be able to load my own GPX format routes Especially for long bike rides out of town its nice to be able to plot out a route on the computer beforehand it allows using the router of my choice for one thing and its just easier to see all the details on a fullsize computer especially for a long route It would be awesome to then be able to have this app guide me along that route as an option Maybe use Dropbox sync to access GPX files This seems to be notsohard to implement for iOS apps and Dropbox is very widely used I know its a somewhat geeky request but I think theres a market for this and this app could fill the need It wouldnt detract from the apps ease of use for people who dont want that feature           Good start would love ability to add GPX routes
First thing first I love this app and use it all the time It does exactly what it says it does I used it on a 92 mole ride in new territory a few weeks ago and didnt get lost My only complaint is that there are a few bugs Ive experienced most of them have been related to using it with a Bluetooth headset              Works great after you get used to the bugs
If you reading this you know how hard it was to find bike navigation appsgadgets be cause they dont existYou have Map my rideGarmins etcbut they dont have turn by turn navigation from A to B This is the first app that dose that in a simple most logical wayin 350ft turn left you dont have to look at it all instruction are in audio playing along PandoraiTunes etc if you want Like every new product this app needs improvements app is based on open street maps and they are not perfect which will improve with time and user updates Biggest issue is with mapsstreets out of dateVery often Corider will send you to one way street in opposite direction at which point you have to improvise other then that I would like to suggest couple of things that would be convenience to have 1 Button to take you home so you dont have to type your home address every time 2Option to save your favorite destinations 5 stars for only app in the universe that does turn by turn bike navigationIs it perfect no but with open street maps improvements and additional features in verupdates there is opportunity to become leader in bike navigation worldperiod                 Jewel in the crowd
This was telling me to turn right when I was supposed to turn left left when I should go right turn onto roads I was already on and completely missed a road I needed     Wouldve gotten me lost if I didnt pretty much know where I was going
Using this to load my own routes onto it for turn by turn directions Navigation and animation are a little clunky and there are too many prompts for turns IMO It is much cheaper 10x and better looking than other offerings with similar functions It has a few nice touches like relative volume for voice prompts and RideWithGPS integration While ideally a more elegant solution would be wonderful this gets the job done              Id love to say something better than good enough
I wanted something to read turnbyturn directions for a convoluted route I made on bikemapnet I downloaded this and at first thought it was deeply flawed I came to find that the map I made was deeply flawed and that this app executed it perfectly The voice guidance is often a little redundant but what can you ask for Id buy it again                 Just what I wanted
Useless in San Francisco     Useless
ive spent a good amount of time with this app and it offers something that isnt available anywhere else if you like to create and customize your bike routes using a desktop tool like MapMyRide RideWithGPS or Google Maps try exporting them as TCX GPX or KML files CoRider will import the files and provide voice guidance along your route voice navigation still has its quirks but the developer is hard at work with frequent updates a solid app with a good interface and a unique feature set watch this space              great TCX GPX and KML import
App has the same routes as google maps which not only are in beta but states some streets might not be safe for biking For a bike app Id expect route options to follow bike paths for a safer ride     No options for bike lanes
The turn by turn is pretty garbage It hasnt led me in the right direction yet And the voice interrupts with non route related talking very often I miss google maps for droid     Not worth it
Almost 5 stars Just needs two things in my opinion 1 street names incorporated into turning instructions 2 only one verbal instruction when turn is near Gives too many verbal instructions for a single turn I use Ride with GPS to generate the custom map with cue sheet and export a tcx file into Dropbox I then open Dropbox app on iPhone 5 to pick the custom route to import into Corider The best voice turn by turn directions that I have found currently Improve the app with the above suggestions an Ill give it 5 stars              Corider
Download GPX files and get turn by turn direction with voice AMAZING It seemed simple enough but no one seemed to do it Brilliant                 It exists
A must have bicycle GPS application Finally something that really works Thank you                 Great
This app doesnt work without Internet           Need Offline Capabilities
I have been searching everywhere for an app like this and it looks like I finally found it I wanted an app which speaks the directions to me so I could ride my bike without having to take out my phone at every turn This app does exactly that The app always picks routes that are bike friendly and fast I would definitely recommend this app to anyone that wants a fast and easy way to get bike directions on there iOS device                 Awesome App
The fairly recent addition of the full synthesized voice guidance has greatly improved this app I mainly use this to give me vocal directions for GPS cue sheets that I have developed in RIdeWIthGPS The integration with RideWithGPS is seamless The directions are now very good with the Voice Guidance unlock This is the best app of its kind on the iOS for doing vocal cues Keep up the good work              Great app much improved
Turn by turn directions that I definitely needed I use my iPhone exclusively as my bike computer wahoo RFLKT head and I had been searching for an app that would also give verbal cues This is the what I was looking for Developer also has planned enhancements thatll make the app even better                 Exact solution I was looking for
PLEASE offer an option to disable shake to undo I ride with a handlebar mount on bumpy roads and it covers up the map rendering it unusable I dont want use turnbyturn voice I like to listen to music while I ride and watch the map for turn cues The app would otherwise be perfect allowing me to follow gpx routes easily           Great app except for one major flaw
Unfortunately this app seems to have lost voice or audio with update to ios8 Please fix Other than that it works great              Fantasticbeen waiting for this one
Long time user pausing to finally submit review This app is a perfect companion to routing software I plot my route with ridewithgps export as tcx open in corider Thats it Phone in jersey pocket and one earpiece and I can count on great turn by turn directions Announcements are well timed and accurate Simple and quite effective Perfect app                 Well done
Ive been waiting for an app that offers voice turnbyturn app for cyclingfriendly directions for ages This app functions well but the routes provided by the app are not idea I ride my bike between my house and office often and the path I usually take is very bike friendly The path that app provides takes me on busy roads that are not very safe and the total distance is not shorter than my own routes If they can update their app to provide better bike routes this will be a great app Google Maps for example provides really good routes for cycling directions but they dont offer voice navigation for the iPhone app yet              Works well but paths are not ideal
Finally an app that looks like it was made in this century and shows me the bike paths in my city Excellent                 Great
I have several imported TCX routes but it crashes immediately when I open bookmarks to view and open my routes     Crashes When Opening Bookmarks
Voice nav for bikes is pretty cool but the routing part needs some work It got me on some bike paths that arent in apple maps yet which is good but it took me the extremely long route to work Like 34 turn counterclockwise instead of 14 turn clockwise long way Also asked me to make a left onto a one way in the wrong direction        Nice start needs refinement
I use this for culver city to long beach about 30miles it will bring you to the destination but need more work to be next steps with there are some record logs history log           I think it will be grow But for now
A very useful and easy to use app I like the simple interface and app stability Hopefully more features will be added soon                 Every organized event cyclist should have it
I plotted my route on Strava Then I exported the route from Strava in a gpx format and emailed it to myself After receiving the gpx file I opened it with Corider Used it on my century ride with the ADA TourdeCure Michigan It performed very well at least until my phone battery ran out I was out in the sticks so maybe turning off cellular would have helped preserve battery life or get a spare Overall great app and I was alerted to turns ahead of time and very accurate Needs additional voice selections though                 Turn by turn guidance
I have created several routes using ridewithgps I get on the route select route in corider push play and start riding In each case it tells me to make a U Turn and then stops speaking altogether It will not allow me to follow route I have tried numerous times Its too bad since this is the exact functionality I was looking for on my bike     Does not work
I love being able to load a map into my phone and get turn by turns This app is great The reason for 4 stars is the sneaky inapp purchase that they toss at you shortly after getting the app There are some quirks For example it says slight right or similar and there isnt an intersection the road just turns slightly I do like that it gives a few warnings before a turn because I dont wear headphones Im relying on the iphone speaker and I cant hear the direction it tells me to go when Im going 20 mph but I can hear it A couple things I would add would be an option that immediately after the turn tells me what the next turn will be For example once you take the turn the gps will say in 25 miles turn right onto Main Street I would also add a tone feature that would have 3 distinct tones one for left one for right and one for wrong way buddy That would be simple and easy to recognize for riding at speed Thanks for making a great app              Great app
Wow great app even greater customer service i email them asking issues with this app since i like the app that much they answer were fast and with follow ups nice                 Helpful
This app is so well craftedIm in Perth and needed to get to a pub This thing took me to the brass monkey with detailed instructionsloved it and I will love it more when I load gpx files for my trip next year                 Yes it exists
The amount of prompts it gave me was maddening Every single slight change in direction it prompted with at least 3 prompts so much so that many times the prompts were overlapping Also needs a female voice as it would be easier to hear when not using ear buds The lower frequency British male voice gets drowned out easily Also crashes when loading an exported GPX route file I have to reopen the file every single time        Good in theory but needs work
The thing isthis is headed in the right track but is NOT user friendly I have no way to store favorite addresses no way to saveretrieve routes loaded using Dropbox had to go to website to figure out how to load a gpx file for a route There is sooo much the developer could do And Id use it all the time until then honestly cue sheets are just easier        Not user friendly
