The yet is optimistic This version allegedly got rid of Dropbox bugs but only a small fraction of my files on Dropbox and Evernote show in the app Making it useless at this point And a rather expensive useless at that Update 913 still doesnt work properly Doesnt workyet
Read the description carefully Unlike the Mac version this app does not support iCloudat least not yet When I suggested iCloud be supported I got an email saying that if I downloaded the latest Mac version of CloudMate it would enable iCloud support in the iOS app Unfortunately that did not work So if youre looking for an app to manage your iCloud Id look elsewhere No iCloud support
Have tried to use this app but it just doesnt seem to work It will show you what is in you iCloud but when you try to access it kind of like the old spinning beach ball This is a no go If you fix it I will update this review but this has gone on for months I believe it is time to delete Great in theory
Contrary to what some of the reviews on this app say it does not support iCloud Further it has limited settings and does not fully support Dropbox and merely shows a few of the Dropbox folders Dont waste your money
This app is very clever Although the iOS App Store description doesnt mention much its real strength for me is that when paired with the desktop version it allows access to all your iCloud documents in their app specific folders Importantly to make this app useful it is supposed to allow you to move documents between these folders But on both my iPad and iPhone it crashes when I try to do this Needs work and more aggressive testing before its ready Great idea but not ready
Yes you need the Mac version and yes it can be confusing But this is a very clever way and the most user friendly to access all your iCloud files from an iOS app This is an impressive feat given the restrictions on iCloud set by iOS Very clever
