I love using this app to record and playback college lectures The Dropbox upload feature is an excellent addition The only thing I wish is the developers would improve the playback controls I often record 2hr lectures The app needs to remember where you are in a recording if you leave the app I would also like to see a button to jump forward or back 10 seconds A screen with larger playback controls would make the app much more functional Great app for recording lectures
This app would have been perfect except of few issues 1 After the upgrade it crashes a lot and it wont allow you to edit andor change topics 2 Needs a playback mode That is it needs to be able to jump back 10 15 seconds back 3 Needs to keep recording even when a calls comes in Or have the ability to continue recording right after where u left off from previous recordings I love this Ap but
I have used this app for months before the latest upgrade The issue I have run into is some recordings do not playback An error message pops up stating can not playback files unless they are Acc or Wav Waiting for an explanation or fix from developers Not reliable
The noise reduction works pretty darn well Just wish it had 10s and 30s forward and back buttons Its a bit awkward sliding around in large recordings Its Good
Awesome noise canceling but almost useless when every time I try to play it back the program crashes and looses my spot in the recording There is also no controls on playback other than a slider Very difficult to get to my exact spot after the crash about 30 times in a 3 hour recording Records greatplayback is a joke

I have installed this update on both an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS version and on iPhone 5s on one of the versions of iOS 7 the former I use as my primary ClearRecord device This newest version of ClearRecord on my iPhone 6 with the latest iOS basically tried to initially work with my whole existing recordings but crashed after that and cannot start without crashing In short unusable On my iPhone 5s with iOS 7 it is usable but I have the same issues with the functionality of the new version as all of the other people who wrote reviews for it eg 1 losing ability for spaces and other characters etc in the file names 2 not being able to continue playing the recordings while the app is in the background 3 forcing users without an option to send all files in compressed zip format Worst update
I searched for this kind of repeat feature and this is the only app what know this Great app

BEWARE DELETES FILES If call come in file get delete Randomly files wont be able to save On top of that 8 lecture are now unplayable DONT BUY THIS APP IF YOU RECORD ANYTHING THAT MATTERS 10 of 20 lectures have been deleted
Hey This is a great app It excels at cutting out background noise while Im recording You dont hear anything but your voice Its easy to use one can email or Dropbox recordings as well as transfer them to computer I also like that I can name each separate recording when its finished 4 stars instead of 5 because there isnt a lock feature for this app Anyone in your phone can listen to your recordings I use mine as a voice journal so I really hope the developers add that feature My 2nd reason for 4 stars is that I have sent recordings to people who were unable to listen to them on their computer They said that the file was too big or that the recording was too long so their system wouldnt open it There may be a fix for this prob I just dont know it Please let me know developers if there is Ive already recommended this app to friends who love it With two tweaks it would be perfect Best voice recorder app Ive tried and Ive tried many

I use this app to record interviews as well as lectures at conferences It is very easy to use and the quality is outstanding I use the Edutige EIM001 imicrophone and it does a phenomenal job You can choose the quality of the recording which allows you to record a lot of information without taking up much space A couple of times I had to contact techsupport with some questions and they got back to me in a reasonable amount of time I especially like the dropbox feature where I can send my lectures and interviews to dropbox without having to worry about losing my valuable info Whether you are a student recording a class or professional that needs to document info you will not be disappointed with this software Good Solid Quality Recorder

The rename feature used to function correctly but now after last iOS update to 70 is now broken and will not allow to rename This feature is essential for me meetings and now is a mess Please fix this issue Rename is now broken
I used to use this app for recording rehearsals notes to myself and others etc I never had any problems Now no one can open the files So its useless Used to be terrific
Instead of just sending the m4a or wav file why must a zip file with extra data be created that must now be downloaded and unzipped before you can access the voice file Most inconvenient Fix it Why is a zip file necessary

If the phone receives a call while you are recording the app hangs and you lose everything you just recorded This is major issue and makes the app useless for professional users despite all the nice features Please fix Major Bug

When I got a phone call recording of this time has been vanished always Its a good app but
The update does not work on my iPod g4 I cannot make new recordings or access my old ones And it seems I cannot reinstall the old version without losing the recordings that I can no longer access If you upgrade be sure that you have copies stored elsewhere outside of the app before installing I am very angry with this company right now And with myself for assuming this upgrade would go as smoothly as the others Crashes and I have apparently lost my recordings

I exported the recorded m4a files to dropbox and tried to import it to itunes but itunes is not recognising the m4a file VLC did though The ANR setting seems to be too strong I dont recommend this app m4a files not recognised in itunes

This app usually stops when I playback In addition playback often stocks on its own accord This means that I have to download the file to my mac in order to hear The rename feature has regressed Now it does not allow spaces or dashes in the name This produces often meaningless names The prior release was much more tolerant The addition of the M4 files is a plus I would give the user the option to save the text data in a zip file or just send the M4 to the PC or Mac The colors option seems to disappear the next time the app is used All in all it appears the developers have released software that was not very well tested This is a shame as it was a good product but now appears to be produced by amateurs Why not test instead of producing a buggy release

I really like this app for memorizing monologues One of the reasons this voice recorder was better than the others was its ability to play on loop with or without the app being open Please do an update where I can play on loop even when Im in another app or the phone goes into sleep mode Nice Update but
Ive tried this app multiple times over several days IT HAS NOT RECORDED A SINGLE WORD YET I hit the record button and it says it is recording but the clock never ticks and when I hit stop Im told the recording is too short and will be deleted I emailed the company days ago and have gotten no response Dont waste your money iPhone 5s Does not work at all
