When Circa first launched it was a beautiful app with ease of content acquisition in mind If i recall correctly they had to close because proper monetization would kill the integrity of the app and content production was too expensive I was excited to see it had a new icon meaning it had relaunched Instead of compelling news stories it is now a pop news source littered with video and banner ads Instead of matter of fact political articles the top article when opened was a self driving luggage with a video add it loaded over my cellular network to view it This is the death of this app to all who previously praised it I dont know who the original creators sold the platform to but they are gone This is now a cheaply made and altered cash cow Death of Circa bradwithpants
Firstly many of the reviews your seeing are for a completely different version of the app the Circa News app A couple of years ago Circa News went on hiatus and was sold While the app has now been rebooted it s fundamentally different from the app you see in all of these old reviews For all of the reasons outlined in those glowing but ancient reviews Circa News was my favorite news app before its hiatus and sale years ago It provided a simple interface with well summarized unbiased stories It covered important stories never fluff This is a niche that concerningly hasn t been filled since Circa News changed hands I m sure you can understand my disappointment in the new Circa New App Terrible Content Sashiecat12
