Launch Special 25% for a limited time Chore-inator makes household chores fun It`s an easy to use tool that gets kids engaged and motivated in helping out around the house. By checking off chores, ...
Love it so far Need an option to create extra chores that are not date specific so kids can earn extra points for extra stuff that isnt required of them              Want more
My wife and I have foster children and we were looking for an app to handle tasks schedules and rewards I was in the process of writing a web app to accomplish this and ran across this app while looking for a home inventory app This app is more than excellent for everything we need I have abandoned my own web project and am using choreinator I look forward to the iPhone client                 Excellent for what I need
I love this app Our three year old can now do his chores while Im in the shower We broke down tasks into small pieces Dinosuars Cars etc and it has solved our I cant do ALL this problem The pictures we took of what each area is supposed to look like turns cleaning into a matching game And he only has to do one thing At a time The kids save stars for family date night and we all go out for pizza and yogurt when they have enough Now to put our parent chores in Change batteries in the smoke alarms clean dryer vent GREAT app                 Its like chores do themselves
Drop box app cannot read choreinater I cannot synch iPads Very frustrating     Drop box app doesnt read this app
I love this app but it needs some ios8 compatibility It runs for awhile and then with just stop and pull out at random times Please make more stable I have many friends that want to use this app as well and dont want to recommend it until the stability improves with iOS8 Other devices I have that are not iOS 8 are not currently having any issue Functionality of app is both kid and parent friendly I wish it had a kid and parent view the whole week function though Minor I can only flip day to day My kids have super fun with the proof pics and the star store is super motivating I overall love this app and would have given it 5 stars if it functioned better with ios8              Love this app but
Great idea and quite useful Takes a little figuring out how the scheduling function works in terms of when and how the app handles repeating chores as well as how it schedules non scheduled chores But the kids loved checking off their chores However after a couple of weeks now the kids dont enjoy it as much because of the extremely slow startup of the app while it syncs to dropbox Please speed up the sync The kids want to use it but now nobody wants to be the first to open the app because of the lag My kids asked me if the app developers have read my comment and made it faster Haha The kids and parents in our family still think this is a fun way to do chores but a speed bump would give it 5 stars           Kids enjoyed using it at first but not anymore
Wish there was a way to deduct stars for misbehavior and notifications when a child checks off tasks and requests rewards                 Great Appbut
I never knew how much we needed an app like this My 5 year old son is already more motivated to do his chores and hes even asking for more chores so that he can take a proof photo of his completed tasks Together we came up with some pretty good and fair rewards I definitely recommend this new app to others Nicely done                 Fantastic app for kids and parents
Works great on my iPad the kids mark it off and done I use my phone wish it would sync with my phone You also have to download Dropbox Got it all set up and never worked     Wouldnt sync with iPhone
Great app Makes my Kids want to do chores Kids fight over who gets to do different chores so they can get credit I have this app set up on all my kids IOS devices that sync back to my dropbox account I am able to set up the chores and rewards and assign them to each child so they see them the next time they open the app I set each child up with a base allowance then have certain chores that are either not done everyday or that I feel are critical as bonus chores but that add a certain amount of to there base allowance each time they complete the chore Kids can also take photos of chore they have completed as proof I set up some general bonus chores that they can use if they complete a task that I did not set up I also set up the some bonus chores to reward stars that can then be used redeem rewards Some examples of rewards we use are going to movies getting ice cream or getting nails done At the end of the week the app tells you how many chores each child completed and tells you how much allowance the child should get based on it If the child does not do all there chores it is prorated It also gives you the total amount of allowance they would get if they did all there chores along with bonus chores Or you can enter a different amount you feel they earned The app keeps a history of the payouts of both allowance and rewards The developer of this app is working hard to keep improving the app I contacted him with some questions and suggestions and he got make to me and will be making some improvements in future releases in all this app make keeping track to chores fun and makes the kids responsible for updating what they have completed for the week If they do not update then they do not earn there allowance or stars I have been using app for little over two weeks and each week I find ways to tweak the chores and rewards to make it easier and more fun                 Making Chores Fun for parents and children
I was introduced to this app at my first and only Macworld Expo in 2014 Since then though it appears the developer has found other things to do and Choreinator hasnt had a meaningful update Featurewise the app is great I like that it has bonus chores and that children can take pictures to prove that their chore is done I only wish that it would allow the parent to approve chores Designwise though the app is lacking Its not that it doesnt adhere to an iOS 7 standard or has an interface meant to be attractive to children going to one extreme or the other would be an improvement Unfortunately Choreinator falls somewhere in the middle The app is just not a joy to use either for me or my son           Needs attention
Only manual sync Really So it becomes useless across multiple devices If I could set up kids chores on my phone or iPad and thru can check them on their devices Managed that but if you set their account to kid mode there is no way to sync that I can see so 2stars for effort        Nice concept but
With effort put in to settings ie Reasonable payouts and attainable rewards this app helps keep the kids motivated and the parents consistent in payouts that have otherwise been forgotten or overlooked around this house My kids have actually been looking for new chores to be added so they can earn rewards faster They are competing to get to bonus chores first so they can get stars Finally they are learning to save stars for larger payouts and not squander stars on more easily attained rewards that mean less Some example payouts here are 1 hour of uninterrupted media time a movie rental sleepovers a trip to the local ice cream parlor For really big rewards A trip to the salon for a manicure with Mom or a trip to the batting cage gokart track with dad are on the list Feature request need to be able to deduct stars or give extra stars for effort over and above expectations One of the best apps Ive bought in a long time                 The kids are competing to do chores
I would like it better if it had preprogrammed selections you could choose from rather than typing everything in yourself One thing that didnt work was the link to Dropbox from my ipad2 but that really wasnt a big deal for me anyways Easy for the kids to use and allows pictures for the rewards too                 Pretty cool app for the kids to keep track of their chores
