This app is a useless pile of google images It s library is microscopic and really can t be used to identify anything All that being said the app is outrageously over priced 8 99 more than most really good apps cost horrible app this developer should be ashamed of this price gouging     Don t buy trtorq

The app could be awesome however the developer I think wants the money without working for it The app could be updated to allow mushroomes to communicate better give notifications when someone responds or votes on a mushroom Hell when they do vote and you hit except vote the app kick u off         Out dated Big Daddy 5 guys

This is a mediocre app that needs a lot of work still Trying to identify a mushroom using this app is nearly impossible It s a nice app for reading about various mushrooms but not useful at all in the field         Interesting but not useful Jeremyjc

I really like this app Its pretty much exactly what you need if you like to collect mushrooms No heavy books to carry in the forrest all the info is always in your pocket App looks really nice and is fast and responsive All mushrooms have a lot of pictures If you are still not able to identify a mushroom you can always use the integrated mushroom community and ask them to identify the mushrooms you found with the help of photos you submit There is even some mushroom expert who checks if the community identified the mushrooms correctly I seriously don t know how a mushroom app could offer much more                     Really nice Meloneman

This book is a perfect example of how electronic reference books can be better than paper books This mushroom guide has multiple photographs of each species and if that s not enough there are links to Google Flickr and Wikipedia for more photographs and in depth information One of the more interesting features of this book is a mechanism to submit your photographs of unknown mushrooms for the mushroom community and experts to identify My hope is that this community will expand the list of mushrooms beyond the 300 or so that are presently in the book Another useful feature is being able to alphabetically organize the mushroom list into common names or scientific names The scientific descriptions and comments on edibility are terse and to the point The link to Wikipedia is built in for more in depth information Another important element is the ability to tap any picture for a full screen view Over the years I ve used many mushroom field guides and none come close to the functionality of this one                     Mark Mushroom Person

I was nervous that there were no reviews I had a few mushrooms I wanted to identify and few had any reviews and the web was not helping Tried the lite version and loved the identifying tools pictures and interface I decided to take the gamble on the full version Found it had a lot of great pictures and easily identified what I wanted Had 1 I could not identify so I submitted it to be identified Hope to find a result since the web could not help Yes it was pricey But if you hike a lot like me and love the odd fungi you will love the easy of this app                     Awesome app kcmacpro

Beautiful pictures well designed I like the quiz and notes section However it is lacking in the variety of mushrooms Two of my favorites are not listed Lobster hypomyces lactifluorum and Coccora amanita calyptroderma There a dozens of varieties of Chantrelles available here on the west coast but I only found the most common listed on the app If more varieties of edibles were listed I would like this app but honestly it is not worth the expensive price Go with the Audobon app             Ok too expensive Goatgirl3331
