A simple bluetooth le heart rate monitor with calorie calculation. Developed and tested with Chaco International Company Limited Ble Heartrate Module.

I purchased a Polar H7 bluetooth smart heart rate chest strap I chose this strap because it transmits on BLE for the iPhone and on the frequency that most health club equipment eg Life Fitness operate on I then downloaded 4 apps to record my workouts This app is the simplest and works When the app started it automatically searched and connected to the chest strap transmitter The display screen is uncluttered with a pleasing layout Press a button to begin recording and press again to stop I hope the developer adds the capability to 1 save workout sessions 2 plot calories used vs time 3 pass information to the iPhone health app and 4 ability to catergorize a workout session eg bike treadmill row I gave it 5 stars because it is a great start at what may turn into my favorite workout app However for now Im using another app that can save my workout history may turn into my favorite workout app
