I saw the not optimized for the iPad just now I am not sure what it is optimized for however after a few emails with White River Productions I got the idea that it is a separate vendor that is trying to come up with the app Subscriptions should be purchased through the magazine not the app I have see a preview of how the app would work on the iPad and when it becomes optimized for the iPad it will be so much better than the app for model railroader in terms of speed When I first tried the app for MRC it worked fine I bought many of the back issues Then one day it stopped working I m hopeful that they get the bugs worked out                     Not optimized for the iPad Vinijackson
Ever since this app auto updated to WRP from Carstens I have been unable to access my downloaded issues of RMC It says incorrect user name or password even though I am 100 sure this is the same password I used with Carstens I have been unable to contact anyone connected with the app and I was told by White River that I need to contact iTunes This is leaving a bad taste in my mouth regarding digital subscriptions I guess I ll just go back to paper magazines because apparently when you buy a digital copy you don t actually own it I can pick up a paper copy whenever I want and not be asked for a password Hopefully someone who can help will see this and offer some assistance     Lost downloads Shofan94
Cannot recommend this app I enjoy the magazines online and bought a digital subscription but the digital versions are usually 2 weeks late in posting and the app has no built in feature for emailing customer support I finally found an email on their website and have yet to hear back after a week     Disappointed dadaboss
Worked ok at first but suddenly stopped working Can t log in password hint not sent previous downloads vanished This is not ready for users Shame on Carstens for releasing this non functioning mess     Buggy EER455
First download was buggy from the start Buggy glitchy in just making the purchase Then the new download was permanently stuck in some queued state for several hours until I tried downloading the free sample and that seemed to get them both to download Then I try to view the new download and get nothing but black pages and little spinner progress indicators in the centers of the pages forever What amateur hour software and user experience If you don t know how to write good mobile software then hire someone who does because this is just terrible     Just terrible oohrah

I subscribed to Railroad Model Craftsman via this app I am very disappointed in the new issue delivery and the tardiness of the magazine delivery Other digital hobby magazines to which I subscribe are delivered on time and are there for downloading when the push notification arrives I have had at least two instances where the push notification tells me an issue is ready but it is not there when I check I try to log in bit it keeps rejecting my attempts and offers no way to contact the publisher I will not be renewing my subscription as this is just too flawed an app to make it worthwhile     Needs a lot of work Trainmanjeff

White River Productions has purchased the railroad magazine part of the defunct Carstens Publications They have begun publication and delivery of RRMC Railfan and Railroad as well as honoring subscription issues from Carstens                 New owners
I like the application im just checking this one all facilities on my finger tips just tap and get your fav mag updated i want to share my personal opinion about this little tiny thing that if your provide the individual issues also a single first time free edition it would be so helpful for me as well as you people just giving my opinion thank you                 Innovative concept
