This was probably the app that I used the most on my phone and it was SUPERB and was always a 5 Star app So irritated it is no longer supported and not available on IOS11 Hope I can find an alternative             No longer supported GLobalRat

As others have said this is a great app that s sorely in need of an update it s been two years Heck I d gladly pay for it again if they d write a 64 bit version             Needs updating mvneufeld

I used to use this app all the time and loved it even bought the in app purchase content However it seems that GoodHertz abandoned their app No support for phone speakers rendering Speaker useless in iphone 6 6s nor 7 In the 7 no audio comes from the speakers at all FLAC support is nice but can t organize into folders or browse the library that easily Some albums get split because of multiple artists and songs end up getting skipped     Outdated needs new work Make it Great Again Terranwolf

UPDATE 9 10 2016 I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS APP UNTIL THEY UPDATE IT There s been no updates since Dec 2014 and although the app operated pretty well for the most part there s an EXTREMELY ANNOYING bug that s started since later ios updates When you first start the app it asks you to select which headphones you re using from a list before it opens the app When it works properly the app opens up pretty quickly after you select your headphones however lately it gets stuck doing something and it takes it forever to open 60 90 secs I turned off the option to select headphones each time and that isn t the problem as the app still takes forever to open I ve tried restarting app rebooting the phone and even reinstalling the app it didn t help Rarely does it works fine without a delay almost always there s a delay and it s extremely annoying Especially considering what I paid for the app as in app purchases used to cost quite a bit I end up using Apples std music app when I m going out the door and don t want to wait ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS I purchased all the in app purchases and am happy with the sound A few comments 1 The app looks nice but has no landscape mode which would be nice for the pencil eq 2 When you purchase the pencil eq the equalizer option should go away as it s just taking up space afterwards 3 Although this is probably an Apple issue there is no way to rate your songs within the app I like being able to rate my songs and if I need to rate something then I have to leave the app and open Apples music app which shuts down the song I m listening to in can opener it s annoying I have a large catalog and am slowly rating songs 4 No on the fly playlist so I can just add songs I want to listen to without creating a separate play list 5 I m a visual person and although they ve done a good job making everything visually appealing there s no graphic interface for choosing music from your library At least in Apple s music app you can rotate sideways and see album covers All you get in Can Opener is a tiny icon next to text about the music i e artist song name album etc This goes hand in hand with my 4 above If you set up all of your playlists in Itunes and never do so on your phone then you won t have a problem with it Overall I m satisfied with the app They did a very good job with the acoustic aspect but it s clear the interface was done by engineers who aren t very visually minded or thinking of end user usability I do think it s a bit pricey given the issues I ve identified but at least I can count on the sound being better than Apple s music app         PLEASE UPDATE THE APP IT S OLD ARRRR Mateys!

Have owned these for quite a while actually got them as a freebie I just never found a setting that I liked ever I have a different audio enhancer and it works great One of it s best features I set it once and it enhances audio right across the board That s right whether you re enjoying rock reggae jazz or classical it does it all The genre may change but the enhancement shall remain         Just kills my volume I don t know why America's App Advisor

First of all you need to not crash every time something goes wrong Second of all I m trying to free up disk space if I need to delete a file inside your program you don t put up a big obnoxious screen saying nope and claiming that it s currently playing one it s not you delete the file Or I delete your app Which I did         Great idea buggy and frustrating implementation ShoobyTaylor

It would be great if the app memorized the last headphone plugged into the device I usually use the same headphones for stretches at a time so having to select a headphone every time I start the app is irritating If it already has this feature and I missed it I apologize Other than that I love it Its my goto music player and I ve recommended it to many friends                 Great app but I have one suggestion NativeGaijin

First off I would like to say this app has outstanding sound It has been amazing how it has sounded I only have it 2 stars as it won t play all of my purchased music on iTunes It also will not play Apple Music streaming service for songs downloaded on my phone I asked CanOpener about and have yet to get a response         Great sound limited what it can play back Captain_Sam

By far the most backassward navigation on any app to date Sounds good with cross feed separation What s most irritating is the fact that this app has no reason to require data connection yet every time I open the app it requires adjusting data connectivity I actually dislike every aspect of the app except the sound Since IOS 8 2 update it has become so unstable that it is pointless to use anymore The app has potential but so poorly executed that I m looking at other apps with cross feed for use with my headphones Also it s pointless to contact support as it doesn t exist     Irritating navigation but good sound Fastauburnfan

The app is a great music player It will absolutely make your music sound better Unfortunately they don t update it anymore There are definitely issues that need to be addressed but they don t seem to be actively working on this app             No longer supported with updates eazyrooster

I like the way this app processes sound It gives a presence that I enjoy The interface is pretty bad but all I need to do is find my playlist and hit Shuffle This used to work but then it started crashing as soon as the shuffled playlist started playing This was last year 2015 I reported it but never heard a thing which unfortunately is too common with iOS apps I finally deleted because it was unusable Recently I gave it another shot but was disappointed to find that it still crashes when I try to shuffle a playlist So I ll delete it again Too bad you know         Sounds good crashes on Shuffle Redanzl

I sent an e mail to support 2 months ago and still haven t gotten a response It appears this app is no longer being updated or supported After upgrading to iOS9 it will no longer play the music downloaded to the iPhone native library It s a shame I really liked the equalizer     Will not play after latest iOS update Soundpump

This is a great application that can make your music sound amazing with the right head phones But I do have some complaints and the reason I gave this app only two stars First there is not way of saving equalizer and crossfeed settings and give it a profile name This feature is lacking in both It would be nice to be able to adjust both the equalizer and crossfeed and save the settings either separately or combined with a profile name for later use As it is the app seems to save your equalizer settings the way you had them the last time you used the app but it doesn t do the same with the crossfeed You have to change the settings manually every time you open the app Again being able to save the settings and give it a profile name would be nice Saving the last settings is nice but not enough In particular if you listen to a wide range of music styles Also an user s guide that gives you the basic of what some of the settings are and what they are used for would be very nice What in the world is dither What s the difference between most realistic more realistic and standard crossfeed Simplified Delay Algorithm of yeah I remember that they thought us that in first grade Nope don t think so I don t know call me crazy if you want but I am sure that most people don t have any idea what any of that stuff and other is         Very nice but needs lot s more work Fototico

I purchased this program thinking that is was going to be a cheap equalizer for headphones and be similar to the apple EQ presets on every device ever Boy was I wrong The app really enhances the sound of your music catalog and makes everything sound as if it s newly remastered And it s not just for headphones you can use it in car audio systems and anything else that can connect to your Apple device via lightning or standard headphone plugs I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to tweak their headphones to make them sound better                     Can Opener is the most awesome paid app ever Forrestp1138

With most apps the music sounds like it s from both sides of my head two dimensional stereo With CanOpener there is a sense of depth unlike other apps I particularly like the ability to adjust the right left balance that is missing in most iPhone music apps I do not have equal strength hearing in my ears and I am able to adjust balance so I can hear the music as if the musicians are in front of me and not inside my head off to one side                     Great realism even with headphones jswesq

I use the crossfeed to get rid of the headaches I used to get from headphones on long flights a side benefit is the UI is great nice product Pencil EQ is great for squeezing the most out of ear buds in an aircraft environment                     no more headaches openLoop

The app hasn t been updated since December 2014 It no longer plays audio on my 6s so it s useless anymore Interface is still strange to get used to even after using it for years On top of that its fuzzy on my screen because it isn t ready for bigger screens because it hasn t been updated in over a year All of the 5 star ratings are from a long time ago and haven t been updated to represent it s current state I blew about 14 on an app that is no longer supported and doesn t work Avoid it     Abandonware Sir Picasso
