I ve owned this application for almost three years now It is quite useful A lot of the inefficiencies I noticed at first have been eliminated For example I can now search within particular codes or even more specific articles or divisions of codes Still bookmarks and highlights are not synchronized between devices Data updates are now an in app purchase Just something new to worry about I suppose the updates aren t all that expensive when compared to the cost and benefit of doing business                 Useful and improving BGR714

The biggest issue is that it is not complete For example Probate Code 4401 the statutory power of attorney is missing the text That is sloppy and needs to be corrected Especially now that they are charging a significant amount for upgrades I should not have to buy a West or Lexis product if they are charging this much for upgrades                 Generally good with a few flaws Woo! I use this everyday in court it s much quicker than flipping through the Penal Code I also need the other codes on occasion and don t have them at my disposal in court I can see the elements of the charged offense as well as similar offenses while I m discussing the case with my client The only improvements I d like to see are the additions of sentencing registration and immigration consequences I d pay more if those were made available                 Great Reference Tool iRate This App

I was searching for cell phone in the vehicle code section I was not able to find the section about talking on the phone while driving I e mailed tech support at 12 13 and got a reply that told me I what words to search by 12 22am That was less then 10 min latter I needed to use the words the legislator used Driving talking and it came right up Search is very good                     Awesome tech support heath_durbin

I love this app because it is so easy to browse through statutes Other apps are clumsy for example you might know a particular section of a code that you want but the official tables break it down by titles and chapters and most of the time i have no idea what chapter or title a particular section is in With this app all of the section number ranges are listed in each title and chapter and so it makes it a breeze to find the section I practice employment law so I look at the Labor Code Government Code Code of Civil Procedure etc I can go from one to the other in a snap This app is the bomb I won t buy any more of those desktop volumes of the codes from West or Lexis The cost of this app is cheaper than a copy of the Labor Code                     Very easy to navigate CrankyGreg

There was another CA law app that was 4 99 and did pretty much the same thing This costs 500 more and adds nothing much Sadly the other app was out of date which is fatal if you need codes in your pocket         Doesn t offer anything that the old app did for 4 99 BayAttorney

Works as advertised Very useful for criminal law practitioners and priced right Search is powerful But it should have ability to see list of individual code sections so you can click directly on PC 187 for example and go that text As is the drilling down from the chapter to division etc and then scrolling to particular section is a pain and not how lawyers use their code books Adding that feature would make this a 5 star program                 Good value and helpful Cali Atty
