Calchemy - Units Calculator

Im an engineer and have purchased 3 conversion apps before this one This is by far the most complete unit conversion tool available through the app store so far                 best so far

I had a leaky toilet that was using about a drop a second and I wanted to know what that was in gallonsmonth So I measured 16 drops of water ie 16 seconds worth in a teaspoon and entered the equation 1 tsp16 seconds galmonth And out popped my answer of 213 galmonth                 Just what I always wanted

Wow I wish I had this app when I was in engineering school The best part about it is even though Ive long since forgotten much of what I learned I no longer need to dig out old textbooks or Google conversion factors to figure things out Calchemy has all the conversions built in and its dimensional analysis capabilities mean I can provide it data in whatever units I have and Calchemy does all the conversions automatically figures out what goes in the numerator and what goes in the denominator and even warns me if there is a dimensional mismatch meaning I havent provide enough data or provided the wrong units Want to know how many horsepower are required to pull a 6000 lb trailer up a 10 grade at 60 MPH not including wind and rolling resistance of course Just enter 6000 lb 10 60 mph hp Then press the button and you get the result 96 HP See how long it takes you to do that with your trusty scientific calculator This is a musthave app for any engineering or physics student Read the online help look for the little life preserver icon on the lefthand side from start to finish it is very well written and will substantially reduce your learning curve                 Un Flipping Believable
