I saw the modern family episode to which they refer how great is that show but the app falls short of its intent No instructions and where you have blow is not intuitive Plus the graphics need to better with landscape support I like the idea of this app but when I pay for something I want it to be worth it And this aint worth it Sorry Keep trying Opportunity missed
What a waste This app does not work as advertised I honestly do not believe this was the app used in the Modern Family episode Dont bother Doesnt Work
Like some other reviewers Id like to see a lot more customization available in an app like this But if you read the description youll find that whats promised is whats delivered It worked very well for me including blowing out the candles And no this not the same app as on Modern Family but again they never actually say it is Pretty sneaky guys Does what they say it does
need to blow around the mic area needs instruction for that fun app
could be much better add some more themes allow editing the number of candles change the music played and add different styles of cakes and candles Btw i watched modern family this isnt the same app they used at phils bday party fiox these for 5 stars good i suppose

I guess I did not read enough when I bought this app Lesson learned Wanted it for my boyfriend for our anniversary and I thought you could change the banner to say what you want but you cant So its a total waste for me Good idea though And yeah some instructions on the candle thing would have been nice Not for everyone

I just watched the iPad episode of Modern Family and first thing I did was search iTunes to see if that app in the show was real low and behold I found this Not sure if its the one from the show because it looks different but it works as well and is so much fun Good job guys this is a riot OMG fun for the whole family
the only reason i got this app is because of the episode game changer in modern family not worth 99 cant even blow out the candle

I was looking for an app just like the app on modern family because I watch it and I was searching and I quensedintly I found it But then I found out you couldnt blow out the candles Rip off
Cool app Put it on the iPad we got my Mom for her birthday but had such a hard time figuring out how to blow the candles out Had to make an appointment at the genius bar at the apple desk to figure out It turned out to be something as simple as blowing on the mic Wish the description had said that and saved me some time Also the candles blow out spuratically if there is a lot of noise The vibrations set it off Otherwise it is still a pretty cool app Blow On Microphone

This is a very good App Yes it could be better by allowing some choices for the candles as well as the cakes But for 99 cents its well worth it I also appreciate the fast response from the App Support when I asked how to actually blow out the candles If you are wondering it works by setting the sensitivity to high and blowing near the area around the microphone Its perfect for a small child and some big kids are having fun with it as well Thank you Birthday Candles
