As a photo art director I use this app to frame up shots and scout on a monthly basis The lens options formats and lens are great and have changed the way I story board and communicate with my photographer However the delay on shutter speed and and shutter button are very frustrating The button is sometimes difficult to access as I hold the phone and the side options sometimes have to be pressed several times to work             It s ok Sparkie butt

Hi Im a director Its not accurate Maybe it was an update My DP tried to calibrate for me Iphone 7 Was enjoying it Now it doesnt work wider than 18mm it shows a blue square     Not accurate Anuntakennicknameokay

I m a camera operator on a tv show for Netflix Our directors love using their iPhones as view finders so we have begrudgingly adopted the practice Previously we used a more expensive app that was very popular but we found it to be inaccurate and cumbersome to use The lenses were never quite right You certainly couldn t trust the position of the director s phone to be an accurate representation of where the camera will have to be Cadrage is stunningly accurate and the interface is fantastic We each bought the app and calibrated it to our phones This was a very simple process The results are nearly perfect So much so that our dolly grips will actually mark the position of the director s phone when they re lining up a shot It s that good Well done                     Stunningly Accurate Best view finder app out there SplitDiopter

When I bought it a couple of weeks ago I loved it Since then there has been two updates and the app has gotten worse 1 There is a long delay after a shutter press too long 2 There is no focusing on pictures images are blurry making one wonder just what did I take a shot of             Nice app but getting worse hawaiian808808

I ve put off buying a director s viewfinder app because I didn t think it was worth it This weekend I ended up at a random location where I suddenly realized it would be a great setting for one of my short film ideas I pulled up this app and it helped me take a more accurate look at framing and I even made some notes on lens choices Easy and convenient                     Surprisingly useful Worth it TheLetterC

Recently did a shoot on the Red Dragon with a full set of primes and realized that I had been spoiled by using a canon zoom on the C100 all this time With the dragon rig moving it around and changing lenses to frame shots was just not an option This app saved my butt                     A lifesaver Itmaybeokay

I have several other Directors Viewfinder apps and this is by far my favorite Great design and they are always updating it for all of the new cameras that constantly coming out It also compensates for wide lenses that cannot be seen on the iPhone which is incredibly useful The bundle package is a no brainer and well worth it                     Best Directors Viewfinder app out there Mirrors and Magnets

I use this app a lot when scouting locations to determine which lenses I will shoot with It works as expected but 1 doesn t support the GH4 camera even though GH4 is listed on their web site and 2 doesn t have any exposure or focus controls for when taking snapshots of scouting scenes Maybe the GH4 is an additional buy in but I haven t been able to get info on this The lack of exposure is a problem when shooting wide exterior scenes due to the sky The lack of focus control is a problem when shooting close up shots Otherwise this is a very handy app and I recommend it If they add the GH4 exposure and focus controls it will easily be a 5 star app                 almost perfect davidp158

A wonderful reference tool and extremely useful planing tool I use it to plan out lenses for a shoot or to purchase lenses which actually fit into my kit better and it s the only way to really decide what your next prime should be because you get to see what it looks like in comparison to what you now and own What a great idea and wonderfully polished interface                     Just get it It s fantastic Curtean
