I was hoping for lists of companies perhaps sorted by category or industry grouped by liberal or conservative or maybe one list with a bar chart next to each name for a quick summary of its leanings if any Then we could click on the name for more details Instead you have to enter each product one at a time Can you imagine standing in the supermarket aisle with your tired cranky kids entering each product one by one by one Yippee NOT Hope you re retired have no other interests in life You ll need all that extra time to use this app Excruciatingly Slow Tedious Wildstar8

I hate to do this because I love the idea of this app but wow does this have some bugs to work out Scanner rarely works and as others have said it crashes CONSTANTLY Please improve this app It s a 5 star idea and I ll be happy to revise my rating but yeah You have a lot of work to do Great potential but Msduvall

I scanned ten common brands in Wal Mart and not one of them was in the database Two of them were from companies owned by well known partisan people If the database doesn t have even the common companies I m not sure what this is good for Dud Histdrew

While a solid idea this app falls very short of expectations Very few products seem to work with it even ones belonging to big name companies If they can build up an actually decent database this app would be fantastic but until then it s just terribly limited Terribly Limited Antonio Rosabal

Ever since the Citizens United Bill has passed money has also been involved in voting for candidates With this app we can play their game by changing how we shop in local grocery stores to put the fate of political spending in the hands of the people with in as little as a scan on the bar code It also has interesting features like looking through the database for what company supports what political party and the information of which individual employee or employer supports which political party and how much Those who say their votes dont matter have not tried this app Game changing app in politics

In a world where the Supreme Court rules that money is speech and billionaires can give unlimited fund to change our elections this kind of information is invaluable I dont have billions to give but I do have the ability to make my few dollars count every time I shop This app is great Fantastic app

A few illustrative problems 1 Does not connect products with companies for which it has information For example it appears to think Band Aid is a company rather than a brand of Johnson Johnson 2 The app is clunky If you go to Compare by accident or change your mind you must choose two companies to compare to get back to any other function of the app 3 As others say the database of companies is quite thin Terrific Idea Poor Execution

Scanned about 30 random things in my garage and either no political information was available or it had no idea what the product was Ive had this for about a month now and out of the probable 100 products Ive scanned Ive maybe gotten 2 that had any results Mostly useless
