While I love this app for its positive qualities as a scholar of the Buddhist cannon the nikayas it is hard to ignore the fact that many of these quotes are not actually a part of the Buddhist religion and have no actual root in the cannon of Buddhist scripture I cannot say where they come from but I can only comment that amongst the Theravada Buddhist monastic community we have had a good laugh or two at the inaccuracy of some of these quotes that actually cannot be found to be words spoken by the Buddha But I hope that others can enjoy and find some inspiration here With Metta                 Helpful but not actual Buddha quotes Steven19921992
