It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 3 has been released on 2014-11-26. Im already a fan of the box and its beautiful simplicity so I didnt have to be converted and was enormously grateful when I received this app as a gift The designers successfully translated to this app many of the elements that makes the box so nice including the look of the interface Now that this app has a timer it is nearly perfect the sounds stop although the OS still has the program running in the tray Im so glad to be able to take along the soothing sounds from both box 1 2 when I travel or to work without having to worry about another object power cables etc Great job So far so great

Love the sounds but it will not run in the background and shuts down when the screen sleeps It is pretty much useless for me and a waste of my 99 cents I could have bought a McDouble Buddha Machine

I love to use this guy while I write Using the built in speaker and setting it bedside me helps lend a tranquil air to the situation The new loops are really great as well and I have a feeling theyll keep adding to them over the years Great For Focus

Ive always been a fan of this app but would like to see a new feature that would allow users to play multiple loops at once Thats what plenty of people do with the actual physical analog Buddha boxes they play a couple of them together to create some interesting loops from them Would like to use several at once

I can see how the box is an art object As an app this is pointless Theres nothing to it A handfull of loops to choose from that repeat endlessly Gets boring then annoying in mere minutes Unless thats what youre into Eh

Out of the box the app stops playing after the phone goes into sleep mode 5 minutes and I have to relogin Good ambient needs update

Years ago I paid 10 US for the original Buddha Machine 10 randomly receiving the red box It had a thumb wheel for onoffvolume and a switch to select 1 of 8 sounds I thought the money well spent With this app you get much more Even better the box

Incredibly relaxing I love lining up my buddha machine and playing them all at once Only downside is there is no pitchshifter like on the real thing Andrew

This app is everything I had hoped hiquality loops changeable colors switchable 10 to 20 machine modes and plays in the background while you use other apps I could only ask for a loop speed control or the iPad versions multiplemachinessimultaneous mode brilliant ambiance

I can barely hear this thing Please turn up the volume to earn a couple more stars on my revised review Fine for what it is but volume level is WAY too low on my iPod Touch 2G

For such a beautiful app the icon is plain ugly It would look so mug better as a closeup without the black bars around it The way it is it just looks cheap and lazily thrown together where someone literally put a black icon an slapped the image in the middle and called it a day This app deserves a great icon I would gladly give one more star for a decent looking icon As it is I have it in a folder just so I dont have to look at it Isnt there any way someone could take a little time and make a decent icon to showcase this beautiful app like it deserves Whats up with the icon

I agree that the app turning off when the iphone goes to autolock is a flaw in this apps design This means me needing to go to preferences and adjusting settings each time this app is used Too bad Hope this is addressed with an update as this makes me less likely to enjoy this app Good though not seamless

I use this app more often than I listen to my actual Buddha Box Would it be possible to add the pitch shift wheel to the menu somehow LOVE THIS APP

There is a certain loop on the app and on the real machine that puts me to sleep in an instant Its a lifesaver on restless nights Recommend 100 I love my Buddha machine

Many people have been saying that they ant turn this awesome player off But all you have to do is simply double click the home button and slide the bottom pages to the left side and There you go Just press pause to turn it off I also recommend getting the free app Spawn symmetry So relaxing with the combination together Love this app
