Boximize: Structured note taking app, personal database, form builder and organizer!

I am really enjoying this Universal App Its more than just notes Its a full fledged customizable database App The interface is polished and expertly implemented with a free reign to make adjustments and categories that fit the data The features and navigation make sense Plus I appreciate the ability to customize colors and icon choices As with many nascent database apps Boximize needs a Cloud backup option iTunes sync is fine for now but I am imagining that feature is on the way              Superb

I have always wanted a app that keeps track of random lists Now I have boximize to track that The UI is pretty but could be more user friendly              Perfect for what I need

I love this app and would always think if only it was like complete with back up stuff and all that crap and you guys just did it and I was just thinking about it we should go out some time for some pizza and and you guys can dress me up or you want me and like beat me with a stick Unreel God bless God is good                 Omg yes

Im a physician so I naturally need to keep track of all of my patients in a more convenient way without all of the distractions and complications of health care systems This app is everything I had hoped for The ability to create custom fillable forms makes my job so much easier Kudos to everyone on the team                 Finally I found what I needed

Heres a sweet app that keeps things simple Im a creator that needs organization control over what specific inputs for my projects The app delivered on all counts I always look for app flaws and I have to say all marks checked for a fantastic experience using it Thanks for a very cool app                 Nice n Tight

This app does the formdata entry thing really well Its super easy to use predone templates or make your own You can very quickly be using this app to build a nice database But then you want to do stuff with your data and then there are glaring omissions To do anything useful you have to export your data and filter elsewhere Still a good app but it has the potential to be amazing              Amazingly good with some glaring needs

This app is wonderful as long as you plan to keep your current device forever I got the new iPhone and all my work notes and databases I have in Boximize are help captive on my old phone No syncing or iCloud capabilities handicap this app Ive tried to contact the developers and was ignored Sooooo frustrating     BEWARE Lost everything when switching phones

I use the screen reader I cant access the new item button when creating a multiselection field When finishing an entry I cannot return back to create a new field Please fix problems like these and Ill raise my rating Thank you        VoiceOver consideration please

Get at least one star for the beautiful interface But loose stars for CRITICAL features not available An app of this nature HAS TO provide some sort of backup AND be able to sync across devices If not then its JUST A GIMMICK to rob people if 2 or however much they can swipe It seems as though it may have been built by a talented designer that neglected to hirepartner with a talented programmer To the developers I strongly suggest to GO BACK AND TRY AGAIN or pull the app     Beautifully disappointed

When your guys add the ability to DRAG items to sort them ahhh sweet perfection              ALMOST Perfect

Dont be confused Boximize suggests its about notes but really its about building personally useful databases with structured fields Its like Microsoft Access on crack                 Well done personal trackingdatabase tool

This is a great app really unlike most and there are many notetaking apps out there Although this may not meet every different type of notetaking need which is fine it is quite unique and I encourage people to download it Even if it isnt the 1 not sap used all the time very helpful in numerous situations My only complaint is that when you add to the list field you cannot edit an entry you can only delete and rewrite it                 Awesome

I like the app but I would like to see cross platform support IE a andriod app windows and a Mac desktop version              Good app but needs cross platform support

Update 1132014 The latest update added syncing to Dropbox This has now become my go to app for song Formatting of notes would be great font color size bold italic etc Sync and a way to back up would make this my go to app for songwriting Thanks for all the hard work so far though                 Great but still needs work

But is basically useless with no cloud syncinggoing to play around with it until something comes upthen Ill put five starsor delete it        Could be a good app

I enjoy the power and flexibility of the app however it needs improved Specifically the bugs associated with exporting and backing up need to be fixed In addition the search feature should include more searchable fields Furthermore it would be nice to be able to copy and paste images between entries within the program As is I must copy the image from an entry in the program to my camera roll and then pull it back into the program to be used in another entry Overall a decent program with great potential Work out the bugs and add a few more meaningful features and this program would be perfect           Crashes on export and backup

I really like this app It helps me stay organized compared to just adding notes with no folders or anything like in the native note taking app Its easy to use and very user friendly Support for Evernote would make this app excellent and 5 stars              Good idea could use some additions

This is exactly the App I was looking for Structured note taking exportable to CSV or PDF easily accessible from Dropbox or other cloud locations Works beautifully no crashing and is spectacularly easy to use Well worth the low price                 Fabulous

Id love to use it the idea is great But it is missing ANY kind of backupexportimportsync functionality There is absolutely NO way Im spending a ton of time entering information if I have no way to back it up or export it somehow Accidentally delete the app or have an update that requires reinstall Poof all your hard work gone No way     Looks nice but missing critical features

WARNING App crashes if you have more than10 photos in a record There is also no warning about record size I took the time to take about 15 pictures per file now there is no way to do anything with them I cant even open them as a PDF in another app because it says the file is too big     Do not use if you are storing photos

I really like this app its flexible has a clean and attractive interface and makes it easy to keep track of your data as you take notes It would be nice if it had more keyboard integration tab between fields and as others have noted it would be nice to have more export options That said its much easier to deal with than a fullfeatured database program for basic projects and what it does it does well              Very handy

I love it                 Great app

Most list and todo apps are just tweaks to the basic Reminders and Notes apps But Boximize takes lists to a whole other level You can create totally customized lists for whatever you need to track and use tools such as images audio and freeform writing to capture your thoughts Next to Evernote Boximize is the most flexible robust notetaking app around There is even an added security layer One caveat though as far as I can tell Boximize doesnt support alerts So if youre looking for a reminder app this wont fit the bill Some additional sorting options would be welcome as well Also there are no sharing options as with Wunderlist which is not necessarily a negative if youre concerned with security Also two crucial flaws Ive found since using the app the list sorting function does not work and neither does manual sorting I had rated this app a 5 before I noticed these problems Ill bump it back up once theyre fixed Related to sort multiple views of lists would also be nice              Awesome DIY lists

Clean design works well I replaced all my old Bento databases with Boximize                 Great database app

Its easy to so how beautiful the design is in the app to boot Most if not all negative reviews are complaints of the lack of syncing and exporting features which is certainly an issue but the developers say all these features are coming soon which I look forward to Other small features that would be nice to see in a future update Ability to sort lists by a wider variety of things mainly check boxes This would allow you to for example sort movies by the ones you havent seen Ability to change the color of individual logo WITHIN a list for easy visual distinction the addition of a video game collection preset though its easy enough to make one yourself              Great Start

I really love this app but it would be perfect if you could add folders and subfolders For example some items change monthly such as expenses donations and events and it would be great if you can organize them by month and not having so much clutter on the main screen              Please add folders

Was loving the app entered tons of information that I need to share When I try to export its completely blank Was working fine two days ago Super frustrating app is pointless to me if I cant share the data        Cant export

I cant even searchsort by some of my fields What a joke This is not a database its a spreadsheet that only allows you to view one row at a time     What a joke

I especially like the backup option The only thing I would add is a sync feature to seamlessly use my iPhone or iPad interchangeably Overall the app is the best in its category              Best Ive seen yet

This is a pretty good program with one major flaw it only has one font and that font is very lightcolored and pale to read Also when you tap on the Help in Settings it says page not found In summary the program seems to have good potential with some advanced features but until the above two issues are resolved by the developer it gets only 2 stars out of the 5 If those issues are cared for then I move my rating up to a 4        Good but only 1 font thats faded

Doesnt matter how innovative this app is trying to be its not usable 1 No export at all I write a note and the ONLY place it will EVER be is in Boximize This is not acceptable 2 No sync with iPadiPhone So my data is trapped IN Boximize ON the iDevice where it was created 3 No backup restore function So my data is not protected if my iDevice gets lost stolen damaged 4 The font is tiny maybe 6 pt Hard to read 5 There are a lot of fine reviews here so Im sure many people are satisfied with the limitations of this app But for me its not usable     No No No

I hope I can choose items name from any field not automatically chose by the first field of the collection                 Great But

It is highly versatile and can basically organize anything The kicker is its clean design from the smooth flipping of the apps layers to the simple color scheme and easy to read font Seems a little daunting at first until you realize that ita really easy to use There are tons of templates and you can even design your own                 Great App

Fortunately I grabbed this during a freebie period I commend the dev on a fine UI and a fairly unique spin on databases The Apple Watch component brought me here but ultimately the trapped nature of the data chased me away           Universal but no sync

It was a little hard to find this gem and I searched through about 4 other apps looking for these exact features To say I am impressed would be an understatement of large magnitude It was a bit tricky to learn to use at first it took me about 10 minutes of playing with it to get a really good feel for the app Now I can get it to do pretty much whatever I need Personal database says it all Its absolutely great for anything that requires a good bit of data per entry and its VERY versatile Its currently lacking a few features Im having trouble finding the export even though it says its a feature on the website Id also like to see conditionaldynamic form elements that hide alter or show based on previous data entry points within the same note Id also like to see alternate date formats added to the settings menu Being able to customer graphic labels for each form item would be an awesome addition too Good app but needs a few features and improvements to make it legendary Well deserved 45 Highly recommend it              Lacking a Few Features but Awesome Overall

This app I have to say was easily one of my most used and enjoyed app after a long LONG search for an all that did exactly what I was looking for HOWEVER when I upgraded to a newer phone all of the hours I spent inputting info was for nothing because its all gone I highly suggest a sort of back up service for it like Dropbox backup or any sort of cloud service because now I must start over All in all aside from this this app wouldnt easily receive 5 stars from me even 6 Please fix              Awesome app but

I have used and tried most of note taking apps to find something appropriate to me Im architect and project manager sometimes I need to draw sketches or record a reminder in a handy way This application is the one that I was looking for Thanks for the developer                 This is really awesome

The app has a simple and very easy to use UI easily customizable and support various field types Highly recommended                 Very useful

The main problem Ive been having with this app is that under the settings icon I cannot select Facebook SMS write an email to developer although I could on my iMac or Twitter without the app crashing and sending me back to home screen Ive contacted them about this so I hope that on the next update they would have already addressed this issue Now that the bad news is outta the way let me just say this This is THE app to have for checklists and the like The best one Ive ever used EVER And Ive tried a lot The design is impeccable and the functionality is awesome The only thing I would ask that they add is a way to search for photos online when it comes to adding them for movie lists and the like As it stands now you can only add from your photo library in Photos or from your camera Ive just been taking pics of my screen and it works ok but just not great Other than that the amount of lists you can makehave is unreal I paid 5 bucks for this app and it is well worth it Anywaydownload this now You wont regret it and hopefully these bugs get fixed on the update Peace                 A Little Buggy Now but hopefully will get fixed soon in the next update
