My son used boostacademy over the summer He really liked his tutor She helped him get ahead for next fall Best of all we didnt have to drive to meet the tutor or have her come to our home We were even able to continue with the lessons when we went out of town The playback feature is very helpful It makes reviewing key concepts very easy If I needed to help him I could watch any part of the lesson and then help him Its a great app You do have to register before you can use it I will definitely be signing him up for more lessons this fall                 Best Private Math Tutoring

This is an app for real live personal tutoring A high quality tutor is provided not a high school student and they use a white board and headphones for the lessons The student takes a picture of the work that needs to be done and that is what they work on As a parent the biggest benefit is that this service means I do not have to find and bring a tutor into my home and I do not have to take my child somewhere for tutoring As a busy parent it saves me a lot of time and the cost is very reasonable                 Amazing app and service

I have two kids who are each getting tutored once a week One is in middle school and one is in high school This product is a godsend for our family I work fulltime and do not have time in my schedule to drive the kids to a tutor The iPad lessons are perfect for our family My kids really like their tutors and it is so convenient to have their sessions right at home using the iPad With the new common core math the tutors help to clarify the new concepts Both of my kids have improved their math grades using BoostAcademy And it is very helpful that the sessions can be played back so the kids can review what the tutor showed them Really a great product                 I have two boys on the app

I am a highly experienced tutor and full disclosure an advisor to the company that developed this app This is not an app in the usual sense It is rather a platform through which tutoring services are offered I have worked online usually via Skype with many students and found the experience better than nothing by far but still limited and often frustrating This app creates a shared screen on the iPad and a shared audio link live in real time I can speak and write on the iPad as if I were in the same room across a table from my student even if there are thousands of miles separating us geographically I can see what the student is doing as she works out a problem and she can see me make corrections to her work or provide other examples of the principles involved all on a shared writing surface This is a system that works in a way I had not thought possible                 Transformative
