This used to be clean and neat Now there are flashy distracting ads constantly displayed at the bottom of the screen and no way to make them disappear Really No remove ads in app purchase No paid successive versions There s not enough room on the screen for birds and fantasy game ads do birders in general even play fantasy war games My game is finding real birds in real nature     Distracting banner ads that can t be removed Mikezots

I have used this app for quite a while now and love all of the features it has Whether I know what bird I am looking at or not it is super fast and easy to use and it does not require an Internet connection Start typing the name and suggestions immediately appear If I don t know the bird I can use the search feature to search by family The app grabs and records my location but if I want to wait and enter birds after I get home I can easily position the map to where I saw the bird and it gets recorded There is a great comment feature that allows me to pick male or female by sight or by ear and I can add my own comments I love the share feature and appreciate the recent update that now allows me to share an individual sighting I no longer use my bird journal since I started using Big Year Birding Why would I The app does everything my journal did and more is much faster and is on my phone which I have with me all of the time This app is a must have for every birder                     Terrific App theprodigy1023

This app has everything a birder could want and more It is easy to use and very fast When logging birds in the field these features are key The birds come and go in the blink of an eye and we need identify log them as quickly as possible While I understand that no ads are better than a small banner add at the bottom of the screen I believe this is a very small price to pay for such a useful app                     A Great App for Free eclectic one
