Best Road Trip Ever!

I noticed a lot of new photos have been added to the app even without an official update I love that I was having a small issue with photos being a bit mixed up but once I shut the app down from running in the background and restarted it everything worked fine again Im having fun looking for places to stop and checkout while planning my road trips I really like all the small cafes you never would find otherwise If Im out of town the last place I want to stop at is a chain restaurant This app shows me the local flavor Im looking for Fun stuff              New Photos

This app is great for ideas while on the road Please update for iPhone 5              A lot of fun

With this app I was able to find all the hidden gems on my trip and it guided me right to them with ease This is incredibly useful                 Traveler

This is a cool app The idea and the potential for it to grow into something bigger and better is evident Clearly Im excited Whomever designed the interface did a nice job which tells me this group is interested in this app becoming more then a one hit wonder What this app needs is USERS to interact and play with the app so developers can fine tune the details as well as the information about all the cool spots America has to offer Im excited to add many of the items found in the app to my Summer Checklist                 Clever idea and will become even better

This doesnt have much content for the rural places between cities        Road trip

i was very disappointed with this app I usually dont leave reviews but I dont want to see anyone else waste their moneymaybe a update will have more locations     worthless

Went on a road trip thru California and for a thirteen hour drive was really disappointed with this app Showed common restaurants some random named ones we went to were closed and several must sees were must donts Had more laughs at what was really going to be there for the largest stuffmust sees Not at all worth even a penny Used other apps to find good eats that were actually open     Disappointed

We just enjoyed a great family road trip thanks to this app We did find one place that had closed up shop but there was nowhere for me to report it Id love to see more user submitted photos reviews so you really know what youre getting into before you stop at a place Overall totally worth the Great job              Great app keep it up

We drove 700 miles from Dallas to Florida and the app only showed a handful less than 10 spots and they were fairly common locations at that town museum etc For some reason it had a ton of restaurants but I could get that info for free I hate to criticize anyones app but I have yet to see any fraction of the 6500 offbeat places This also doesnt seem to match the features they talk about on their website 4 is pretty steep for such little data Recommend looking at other apps including one that they reference on their own website     Big disappointment

Waste of money Lots of restaurants Instead of photos a lot of the time you get some pic of a hokey poster VERY disappointed Would like a refund     Useless

love finding the unique places to stop while on road trips no more generic food stops great app for breaking up trips and keeping everyone entertained                 great for family trips

I have two lengthy road trips coming up and was excited to find this app Roadside attractions to break the monotony Im in Unfortunately there was NOTHING near me Northern CA and little along my proposed routes I do have to say that the app seems to work well it just doesnt have the content to make it worth paying for I wound up getting the Roadside America app and found tons of attractions on my routes It costs a little more than this one does but it is well worth it        Dissapointed

This app needs work Help button goes nowhere You can only search whats around you I expect to be able to enter a city and search Ok for a dollar but not much more        Jurys out

Ive lived in this town for over 30 years and was surprised to find places of interest not two blocks away that Id never visited Very fun little app                 Cool app worth the 99 cents

Has great places to stop A huge variety I wish there was a way that I could possibly set up my road trip within this app and it gives suggestions on route              Pretty good

It functions well on my iPhone 4s but it doesnt have many things listed Drove from Matby WA to Bend OR and stopped at three substantial sites that are not listed Outside of the app not crashing I would consider it mostly useless Maybe if it had an interactive feature           Its OK

I was on an 8hour drive my wife was driving and thought I wish there were an app that showed me interesting and unusual sites and history along the road so I looked it up and here it was I take a lot of long road trips and Im always happy to stop for an interesting photo unique food strange museum and this app has lots of places I hadnt heard about Lots of room for improvement in the future but theyre very responsive to feedback                 Makes road trips more interesting

Sometimes the landmarks and sights can be hard to find If only this app synced your settingstripspassport Ive checked off a bunch on my iphone but I need to mark up the app on my iPad by hand Otherwise one of the best apps for the value           Great app If only

Rare Visions and Roadside Revelations is one of the most consistently enjoyable television shows currently running This app captures some of the fun and even more of the information you get from watching Would only be better with a virtual Nokona with which one could join in the baseball toss ANd more of Don the Camera Guys deadly puns                 Almost as much fun as the TV show

Not only does it have a ton of fantastic folk art sites and roadside attractions theres an added bonus of some wonderful mom pop restaurants Whats convenient is that the app allows you to select categories for either folk art or eats or other attractions I also noticed that there are a number of videos included from the Rare Visions PBS series such a hoot I did notice outofdate info for one attraction here in Texas but it looks like it can easily be reported and revised This roadtripper says well worth 4                 Folk art and road food a perfect combination

Was on a road trip from Charlotte to Mobile AL and was amazed to not find a single use for this app Half the items listed are folk artists who dont have hours or contact info     Not worth the money

My boyfriend and I recently drive from Austin to LA opting to drive 8 hours per day and stay in little towns along the way This app made it so easy to find silly and interesting ways to break up the drive and see things we normally would have passed by We now have some great new memories together Climbing inside the towering 1950s dinosaurs from Pee Wees Big Adventure visiting Stonehenge 2 AND standing at The Center Of The World located in FelicityCA if youre curious Go there Toss in a random merman here a giant Easter Island head thereyouve got a great trip and a bunch of fun stories Only con is that sometimes the green map markers were not quite accurate That only added to the sense of adventure though and getting off the beaten path Who knows a one eyed man might sell you some fine beef jerky if you get lost enough to ask for directions to the muffler man and Liberty Head in Mentone CA              Lots of fun Fun app for road tripping

I was so excited to download this app while on my road trip I was disappointed There arent many markers in my area Wish they had more restaurants listed Not worth paying for        Not worth a buck

Great update with a lot more content You can find something of interest just about anywhere you would travel I still think the suggestions below would be nice However this is a must buy for those of us who have an adventurous spirit Old review I really like the idea of this app and for the most part am enjoying it I found most of the local spotlighted places were all worthy of interest NEEDS to have outside links to Wikipedia Google Bing whatever when theres no information about the place of intrest so you learn a little more without leaving the app Still a good buy and doesnt cost a yearly fee for all the regions like another similar app                 Great Explorations
