I was looking for an app to help me take interval data for on task behavior at school The app did not allow me to write in my own behavior for observation and none of the choices listed were positive alternative behaviors The app also did not buzz or vibrate to alert me when the interval was up so that I could input the data so I had to constantly keep checking the time It was also expensive I wish I could get my money back     Another let down Abamichelle

AWESOME APP The fact that it charts right on the device and you can still export the data for offline charting is unreal This app saves me at least an hour a day I haven t had a single crash and anytime I ve ever had a question support was fantastic If you don t have this app you re wasting many hours a week                     BTP Fan BTP Fan

Horrible do not buy I have tried doing observations and have lost the data multiple times It says it is saving and then I go to the client and the observation sessions are not there nothing like losing hours of observational data Also I have tried exporting the observations that did save and that did not work either never got the email Interface is ok but you cannot do peer comparison observations So data does not reliably save export doesn t work and can t do peer comparison Not worth at all I m going to have to purchase another app won t use this one     Zero rating if I could School psych34

As a parent and Asst Prof of Special Ed I have used this app over the past year with multiple children including my own to collect store and analyze data I have nothing but praise This app is robust enough to collect the sort of data that is required when a child exhibits significant problem behaviors The ways it captures data simplifies the collection process particularly on the iPad version when collecting for multiple users yet the data collected contains enough detail that proper analysis of the data is possible There is a reasonable learning curve so I d recommend anyone wishing to use this app prepare a few hours to go over the functions and try them out before jumping in and using it for real The learning curve is well worth it when the data you obtain is real accurate and useful It will be more useful to professionals who understand the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis however with some training the data can be collected by both professionals and typical parents with some practice and or training Unlike one previous comment that suggested a return to paper and pencil I recommend you immediately move to this app as the standard for ABA type data collection The quality accuracy and redundancy through video is simply impossible to achieve using antiquated paper and pencil or moving chips from one pocket to another I could go on forever but my review amounts to this If you are a professional a teacher BCBA case manager job coach etc buy this app now learn to use it and do so If you are a parent buy this app now you can take data with videos that will be a huge help when you try to explain your child s behavior You will be able to show the team data from home and in the community and really contribute to obtaining an overall picture of your child s progress under a behavior plan or even goal attainment generalization If you are an administrator buy this app for every teacher who tracks behavior data Then subscribe to the portal so you can see the data progress for all the children on your case load No more tracking different types of data by visiting each and every classroom Now you can monitor progress through monitoring student data on the portal Great app great inventors You will not be disappointed in this product                     Best behavior tracking app without a doubt This is the standard agileassyst

I used this app a lot in my School Psychology practice but with the recent crashing issues I ve experienced and the release of School Psychology Tools I don t see a need for this anymore I liked this app when it was working but I ve moved on         I ve moved on TallDawg

Downloaded the new update but the program is still crashing when I try to add clients to the interval recording session Can only do one interval recording session every attempt after that causes the app to crash         Sure wish the interval recording worked Minipax84

I think the updates for the interval recording are great But there are lots of bugs 1 No way to navigate back to the main options for data recording interval freq ABC after selecting interval Also it crashes constantly when trying to add clients delete clients start taking data etc For instances after collecting interval data on a client upon trying to collect data for a second time on that same individual the app crashes consistently Too unstable to use right now hope the kinks get ironed out had to redownload too because it was crashing upon opening The app looks much better and the interval features really look great but crash happy right right now         Updates for interval nice but very very buggy NJ SLP BCBA NJ-BCBA-SLP

This app is great because of its versatility You are able to make changes and adapt the program to your needs easily I am a high school teacher and adapted the program to document discipline problems as well to document behaviors associated to IEP s I use the app on both my iPod and iPad the app works great on both devices BTP allows me to enter data while teaching and not skipping a beat Through the use of my iPod and BTP I am more efficient at recording student behavior and have it easily accessible during conferences I have had good support from the creators as well                     Great app for the classroom Kelly2011

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst I was very excited to use this app much to my disappointment I have read the other reviews and for a parent or gen ed teacher I am sure it is fine if you are tracking 1 behavior at a time or if you are tracking 1 student at a time This app takes frequency and duration data on a single behavior When I am in a class I record data on multiple behaviors so it is easier to use paper pencil and the clock on the wall Also how about an option for interval recording again for multiple behaviors at the same time A complete waste of at least I can write it off on my taxes o     Such a disappointment Park and Syds Mom

As a Special Education teacher I have found Behavior Tracker Pro to be a valuable tool to monitor and track their behaviors that I choose specifically for my students I use both my iPhone 4 and a school provided iPad to take data on my students I have BTP loaded on both devices and can easily gather very useful data on each student I like the fact that it is fully customizable as each student is unique The interface is smooth and easy to use I plan to have my assistants begin using BTP now that I have had a chance to use it for awhile I especially like the ability to invoke a video which is something I have not been able to do with other programs I have used It s convenient that I have some video to go with the observed behavior The notes section is very handy too to add additional information about the observation The graphing is the best part as it gives you an immediate visual of in my case the student The ability to export your data is essential as it allows you to share your data with others using XLM which I prefer CSV and even a picture which you can save to your iPhone Touch or email Looking forward to any new updates but really appreciate this software as it s a great method to track my Kiddos                     Great tool for teachers Casey12345888

I teach in a private school setting and I was spending a minimum of 30 minutes a night and often a lot more than that trying to chart data Needless to say I have my nights back I also got a free trial of their team portal and you can upload your data video message video web conference store documents The team portal charting is very powerful You can do all kinds of analysis and reporting Really really well done I m looking forward to skill tracker also It s supposed to automate teaching all the intraverbals and chart progress on mands tacts echoics etc Totally changing the game Thank you thank you thank you                     Thanks for my nights back KingstonKid

I gave up trying to analyze my child s behavior with timers and manual graphing because it was too much of a hassle Now I have an easy and automatic way to do it Thank you so much for making this possible One suggestion I have would be to export the data to an excel friendly format but this isn t really necessary Great job                     Finally Nitrex88

I think this is an excellent app for collecting data on the fly I have been waiting for an app like this for over a year Thanks It would be nice to simultaneously collect multiple behaviors such as when observing two individuals or tracking complex behavior chains I am sure this is in the works the possibilities are endless                     Great Start Bman2232
