I sea kayak and am trying to get a better handled on estimating wind speeds I thought this app would help as it with a small in app purchase is supposed to provide a snapshot of local wind conditions For example when I pop the app open it will grab my location and tell me what the wind speed is nearby The problem Nearby can be spot on or miles and miles away I open the app in my apartment and it may find the city I m in Seattle but when I open it again in my apartment it will find the wind for a location a dozen or more miles away There doesn t seem to be any rhyme or reason to this and looking back this seems to have been a problem for years         Frustratingly Flawed the_original_cowtipper
