Im a big fan of the regular BBC Sport web site so I cant believe how bad this app is by comparison The layout is lame and its a pain to get to relevant news Awful compared to the web site

Im a huge cricket fan living in the USA I usually listen to matches via a certain radio app but now I keep hearing that all the county commentaries are available on this app Yesterday the 1st day I couldnt access them Nor could I this morning Now I can but only because I wanted to listen to the test match and followed the live links I cant get the test match but can get the commentaries Very strange But a BIG FAIL is that unlike that certain radio app the commentary wont continue if I go to use another app This app needs to be able to play in the background so users can access Twitter etc In the meantime Im sticking with that other app I might have to hunt for the right BBC live event on it but at least I know the match I want will be there and I can continue to use my phone for other things A positive It is good at updating me when my footy team scores Cricket commentaries
This app in my opinion is one of the best sports scoring app now theyve introduced push notification support for football I think they can improve the push notifications to include other sports as well for example push notifications for a new article on F1 etc F1 Push Support
Seems to do well with most links Cant seem to get the quick links menu in the upper right corner to work though Works alright
This app has a good look and easy functions but the content has been disappointing I tried following the Madrid Open and the Giro de Italia this weekend and found the app does a poor job of providing any details about timing on matches in the Open and no updates on the Giro I would have done much better going directly to the Internet Disappointing
Expect more from the beeb Every time I tried to load it takes me to a tips page that wont go away Used to be a daily user never again Terrible

Alerts are just now becoming available for the Womens World Cup Im disappointed with nearly all the sports media for their failure to provide more coverage for this great event Even Google missed the opening day for their homepage art And after all if it wasnt for the way that many sports such as mens football and American football are promoted and marketed there wouldnt be nearly such a craze over them The funny thing is while the men are hailed like heroic gladiators and men are generally viewed as less dramatic than women I couldnt have agreed more with what I heard a young Canadian girl say on the BBC World Service there is much less drama in the womens World Cup than in the mens Disappointed
I wanted to watch skeleton on the Olympics so I google searched Winter Olympics 2014 Schedule and their website popped up Not only did it give me what I was looking for but I also had the option to view the schedules for sports events in the future Good if its anything like the website
Installed easily simple navigation to access all sportsteams articles and very little wait browsing from one article to another even though that would normally depend on the users network throughput However when accessing videos within an article the audio does not work with my iPad running iOS 83 And thats after several attempts with different articles containing embedded vids Have not attempted with my iPhone however I do have the BBC Sport app installed on that device as well Repair this glitch and its a top shelf app in my opinion Seems like a very good app however
I updated to an updated version of iOS7 and now the menu buttonin the top right corner doesnt workit moves the entire page to the left Other than that the app works great T Menu button isnt working
