This app is amazing but not perfect The only downside is that you don t get the option to export the audio file or print sheet music The sheet music part is understandable but I think you should at least be able to export audio for free please change Update FIX THE GLITCHES I can t play the music because the app refuses to work half the time     Bassline Ashlynn Lynch

I love this app but it seems to be missing a few very important details I still cannot change the number of Bass Drums It is stuck on just 5 and I need to write for 6 and sometimes 7 basses I really like the version thus far with all its added features but there seems to be a lack of an undo button I find myself accidentally pressing across the screen and writing a bunch of notes                 I love this app but it s missing some key fearures Family 2459

So far so great I m enjoying everything from this app The layout seems awkward at first but you ll get used to it and it s quite manageable I m also really liking the sound of quality of different effects of the instruments To the devas I highly recommend adding different tones to drums as if you were using different kind of mallets That would be a cooler effect and also adding the undo button would really help so that way there wouldn t need to be deleting all the accidental adding changing of notes manually Overall I highly recommend buying this app to all you drumline folks out there                     Superb App davidchristiantupas

When pressing split and changing the beats it for some reason doesn t play those beats and breaks the rest of it There s a few things that are weird about it but it works         Works MackTheGeek

I got this app near when it first came out and I ve been using it from marching band in high school then to world class drum corps now I feel like it has been evolving with me all these years such that as the music I play gets harder the developers update it to allow for more freedom and variation from stock rhythms It s really amazing how the app now has every feature I ever wanted from different and odd meters within a measure to tempo changes A huge thank you to the developers for making this app exist because it has helped me so much when it comes to learning music and practicing splits                     This App Has Come a Very Long Way benwillie

I ve had this app for a little over a year now and I love it especially since they added the new time signature features However the last update has caused some sort of crackling sound during playback Other than that awesome tool for marching music enthusiasts                     Great App Z_Strong

I absolutely love this Helps pass the time writing original bass licks as well as writing experience in a fun and interactive way I ve had this app for a year and some months now I believe but the last update has made everything sound crackly like too much echo or articulation that is not having it I thought it was my speakers but I ve ran my phone through other speakers and have asked other users with the same problem I love this app use it every day pleeease fix Keep doing awesome things                     A bug fix Fmin7

I ve had this app for about a year now and it has been great Music makers Drummers will find a realistic sound of an actual bassline when using this app This update makes muted notes and rim clicks sound greater than before The new tempo feature is cool but I feel that it always changes back to the original tempo The look is very nice as well All in all great app and worth the money This app will help with music composition creativity and also it is entertaining One feature that would be cool but not necessary is if the creations can be able to convert to actual written music When that is done this app would be the best composition app on the App Store                 Great Update and Great App Matt397

The rapid scrolling motion of beats represented as square pieces of sandpaper angular icons and measures is a bit too rapid and difficult to read As it is now the drab and bulky square icons racing off the page at Sonic The Hedgehog speeds make my eyes ping pong when my eyes leave the interface For a less straining and nauseating experience I recommend rotating the interface device 90 Visually the asphalt glyph icons are not easily discernible nor compelling to get in a serious head boppin and creative mood Hopefully the developers rethink the interface with a little more depth and thought or options to change it Overall the app is interesting but the current price is a bit spendy compared to other musical creative apps which offer more remarkable features for a better value I can t see using this for the long term but maybe things will evolve and become better suites to my personal liking dB             Dizzzying Not for me dataBANG

Has many bugs and needs an update It is a great app but the bugs are ruining it Also they lied about an update coming Pathetic     Lied about pushing an update Bill's gas bill

Let me start off by saying that I m glad something like this exists on the App Store However there are some serious things that I would like to be fixed 1 The bar at the top is really finicky and so is the way that you have to carefully swipe between measures 2 There should be a way to change the subdivision of an individual best rather than having to change the whole measure This would more easily facilitate metric changes 3 There should be a way to notate diddles and flams 4 I found it to be hard to write single splits squigs or whatever you call them Maybe make it so you can split a beat into 12 so you can give each drum a different partial 5 There is currently no way to to split a 16th note into 3 or 4 Sometimes you need to write a groove at a slower tempo so there needs to be a way to include 3 s and 4 s runs like you would with eighth notes at a faster tempo                 Cool idea but has some flaws Hshahskebtbsjgxh

This app is awesome Thanks to having this with me all the time I ve written out the cadence that I promised the line awhile back I was able to experiment with different grooves and made it sound exactly how I wanted I do wish that I could print out the music but the entire bass line got the app and now they practice with it all the time Crazy it s really helped their timing and interp I hope they release an app with the whole battery soon Keep it up devs                     Amazing War jr

With the recent update this app is a very good way to make up your own beats or cadences as well as to be able to listen to what a piece of music should sound like with all of the members It is very good to practice with alone as it can play the part of other bass drummers while you play your part As the section leader for a high school marching bass line I ve found that it is very helpful with showing my fellow bass drummers how particular cadences or warm ups are supposed to look and sound even though we don t have music for some of them There are only 4 things I can think of immediately that need to be added to this 1 A way to add unison notes instead of having to put each unison note across all 5 drums This would help make it easier and faster to write out the music especially with cadences that are all or mostly unison 2 The ability to go beyond 32nd notes It may not be common for this to be used in a bass line but it would be nice to be able to break down the notes further although if you use diddles it is technically possible to get to 64th notes which is about as far as you would probably ever need to 3 It would be nice to have a slightly larger bar at the top If your finger gets just a little bit off of it it won t perform the intended action This isn t a huge problem but it would be nice to have it resolved 4 The ability to be able to turn what has been written into sheet music that could be emailed and printed Overall though this is an excellent app I ve actually had less trouble using it than some of the music composing programs for computer as most of them don t seem to have what is needed for drums diddles flams rim hits etc and I would recommend this app to anyone It s definitely worth the price                     Worth the price N1NJ4-_-HUNT3R

I m with Geoff Hamilton for a first generation and for 0 99 it s fairly decent Change tempo Yes Set tempo for each bar No Add Delete bars Yes Different time signatures No Time Sigs assignable to specific bars No Decent sounds Yes with nice range too Subdivisions Yes curious implementation So if your exercises or cadences are mostly in 4 4 time then fine If not then either ignore the bar lines and just rely on the meter or find a different tool If your parts go deeper than 8th notes this app can do that but the implementation is strange It may be excellent or it may be terrible I stumbled upon this feature by accident and have only mucked with it for a few minutes It is not blatantly obvious how it works and I can t find a read me file or any other help assistance Perhaps on the website or Facebook page             Not bad for straight and simple beats Cdndrummer

For the most part this app meets the expectations with its purpose The sounds are better than most of the other apps I have found that refer to an actual marching bass This is a good way to at least get thoughts down and saved However there are a few downsides to this app that could be improved Timing while it plays the tempo seems to fluctuate and not stay consistent Rims most shows will have rim clicks and would be nice if they were able to be added to the app in a future update Measures all of the measures are in 4 4 and it would be considered that 3 4 and a few others were added This app does its job and for 0 99 it s worth giving a try I recommend waiting for a future update         It s ok Reviewer159736
