If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download BASIC-II for free from Apple Store. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 0.7 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.0 has been released on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. The one thing that is missing from all these mobile programming languages is decent sound support The Commodore 64 could do basic 3 voice ADSR synthesis in 1982 which lets games have music and rudimentary music apps and even a child could program it in BASIC So here we are in 2014 and the iPhone iPad are capable of so much more yet to access the sound functionality you have to use Objective C BASIC is so much easier if it had real audio functions that would really empower a new level of creativity in aspiring programmers and artists and differentiate BASIC II from all the other iOS programming languages none of which has any useful audio support beyond playing samples Do it             would be great if it could do more audio play notes ADSR synth sounds SID emulation Angry Scientist II
