BabyScope for iPhone5/iPod5 - Listen to your fetal heartbeat

This has to be a scam I was so excited when I heard the heartbeat but my skeptical husband told me to do it on my arm and random spots and sure enough it picked up the same baby heartbeat Wish I could get my money back on this one     Scam

I got this app a little shy of my third trimester knowing that it didnt always work before the third trimester So I got it Didnt work I then again tried when I was almost 34 weeks and it didnt work yet know she is fine as she was moving I emailed the company at that time and they told me it wasnt working cause I wasnt in my third trimester Ummm HELLO 34 weeks if def third trimester I just tried it again just shy of 36 weeks and still absolutely nothing Biggest waste of money and such a horrible app Save yourself the aggravation and dont bother with this     Horrible App

So as a logical thinker I always assumed these apps were bogus Well Im pregnant again and 11 weeks I decided to try it becuase what could it hurt I was very surprised when I picked up a clear Fetal HR Shocked I tried it in my husband I picked up his HB on his chest but no fetal HR on his belly I tried a pillow a cat a toddler No fetal Hb But on my belly it worked This is my 5th baby and I usually rent an actual Doppler but I wont be this time I have already recommended some friends who are in early 2nd trimester and 12 weeks plus and it worked for them too Make sure its nice and quiet                 It works for me

Ive never felt like something was such a waste in my life     Dont do it

I am 28 weeks and havent felt my baby for over 24 hours I heard my babies heartbeat more than once using this app I even had my hubby go buy me a stethoscope and i couldnt hear with that I highly recommend using this Well worth the money to ease your mind                 Gave me Peace of mind

This was pretty exciting Im on SBR so looking for stuff to pass the time I caught the heartbeat it took a few tries but I got it I know when Im farther it will be easy to catch it but Im happy as can be                 19 weeks I caught it

Found my babys heartbeat at 35 weeks after a couple days of trying I think he was in a position at first that I couldnt hear it But tonight it worked great sooo cute and cant wait to see my baby This app is worth the money              Great app

I purchased this app during my second trimester and couldnt hear anything Thought Id be able to hear the heartbeat in my third trimester as the app suggests but still nothing This was a bad purchase     Waste of money

I bought this app at 22 weeks and to no avail I could not hear anything but kicks or stomach sounds Finally today I am 29 weeks and knowing where his back is I could hear the heart beat loud and clear Such an awesome sound to hear Im so happy I will not that I have this app on my iPhone and my iPad Using the iPad worked much better                 Worked at 29 weeks

Bought this app at 21 weeks and I am now 37 and it still wont pick up anything but some movements Baby always has a strong HB at the doctor so this app is garbage     Terrible

This app has worked great since 28 or 30 weeks So comforting to hear the sound of my babies heart beat strong and stead like a train steaming down the tracks              Works Great

I got this app to try to listen to my dogs puppies heartbeat in her tummy I can hear my heartbeat my daughter heartbeat My dog heartbeat comes with echo and I could not hear any of the puppies heartbeat Maybe the app needs an adjustment for dogs           Maybe

So I downloaded this app not expecting much bc clearly its a phone and how much can it really do right Well I was beyond impressed when I first tested it in my own heart beat So clear and loud Well over the last 10 or so weeks I have not once picked up my babys heart beat I am 31 weeks pregnant and have never once had a problem at the doctors I know itd sound nothing like that thru this app but figured Id at least be able to hear a little something Nope So thankfully it wasnt expensive but I wouldnt recommend this app to anyone           It is what it is

Ive tried and tried several times across several days Different positions all across my belly And nothing     Didnt work for me 35 weeks

I emailed the company and have not gotten a reply yet Im a nurse and the app didnt pick up heartbeat nor did it pick up fetal heartbeat Its just an app for fun but whats the fun if it doesnt even work     Didnt work

I downloaded this not expecting much But it wasnt expensive so I thought I would give it a try Im 6 weeks 3 days and found my babys heartbeat It probably helps that I know what Im looking for though If you dont know you can find tons of tutorials online I suggest doing this at least an hour or 2 after eating so you dont hear bowel sounds and you wont hear your tummy growl either Be patient and move around slowly until you find the baby Dont be surprised if you hear it for a few seconds and then lose it If youre early like me once you find the baby its pretty easy to find it again I also suggest listening to your own heart first The babys will be easy to distinguish because its much faster 120 BPM I figured out the BPM by counting the beats over the seconds that I had it 14 beats in 5 seconds 168 BPM for baby 5 goes into 60 12 times and 1214168 I understand this calculation could be off a little but Ive seen some reviews asking how to calculate All in all Im really surprised and happy with this app Gave it 4 stars because it didnt calculate the BPM for me              Great App Calculating BPM

This is pretty cool If youre patient and still youll hear something And when you take it out of airplane mode the email function works easily For all the folks who gave bad reviewsget some perspective Its an app for cryin out loudnot a high tech medical device Its just for fun Youre expectations might be a tiny bit whacked Also its only 4 bucks I wonder how many of you waste that amount at Starbucks everyday              Cheap funand its just an app people

This app never worked I initially downloaded it at 24 weeks which I knew was too early However at 38 weeks I have never been able to pick up my babys heartbeat I followed the directions exactly     Waste of Money

Im an RN and have to use a Doppler to get fetal heartones all the time They can be hard to hear in the first trimester so I was skeptical buying this app But Im a little over 12wks pregnant and heard a heartbeat almost immediately Make sure you stay really still and everything is quiet Pretty cool              Works great

I cant even hear my own heartbeat And the baby worse Plus doesnt tell you the heart rate Am I to learn how to read EKGs Picks up everything else but the heart rates     Not worth the money

Update 2 Im full term Due to give birth on Monday writing this on a Saturday I have never picked up even a slight resemblance to a pulse Stupidest 5 I ever spent Update At 30 weeks I have never heard a thing in any position all around the belly Shes moving around in large movements Ive tried laying down sitting up leaning forward nothing Big waste of 5 I bought this app when I was 15 weeks I know it says that its not very accurate until I reach a certain point but honestly the other reviewers convinced me to get it I wasnt surprised that I didnt get anything I tested it on my own pulse heard it plus my husbands totally picks it up I tested the pillow no pulse Anyway Im now 23 weeks and havent ever heard a heartbeat despite many different positions laying down sitting up leaning forward etc plus different locations around the belly high low side middle whatever Now my baby is seriously moving the hubbs has felt her kick But no heartbeat I will give another review in a couple weeks in case something changes But so far I feel a bit stupid for falling for a 5 purchase     Junk

Please do not waste your money on this app I am 20 weeks and I dont hear anything Save your money     THIS APP DOES NOT WORK

Im only 10 weeks and have already had a few complications and I found the app not really expecting much but figured I would probably be able to hear something later down the road But it worked I was skeptical so I tried it on myself and my pets and it really did work You have to be very still and quiet and not move the phone around to much because it picks up every noise It takes a few minutes to sometimes find the heart beat but its such a relief when I do I listen to it at least once a day Thanks for this app I would be a worried mess if not for this              Great peace of mind

I bought the app and didnt think that my phones microphone would actually pick up the heartbeat but it works I was so excited to hear my little girls heart pumping away It took a minute to get the position right and just like with the expensive real dopplers the babys movement and position makes a difference but if you do what the instructions tell you you will hear your little one Its better than i expected              A really fun app

I bought this app and tiny beats this App is AMAZING the tiny beats wouldnt even pick up my own heartbeat This app picked up my child at 14 12 weeks I also got a kick recorded 3                 15 weeks Nd found the heartbeat way better then other apps
